The thrill of finally getting recognised for your morally reprehensible qualifications followed by the disappointment of it being just your regular qualifications

I found out a couple months ago that I'm apparently the Knife Guy, according to the colleague who handles most of our weapon cases. He had some very particular questions about knives--turns out that he needed to know about clip point and drop point blades. I didn't even realize I talked about knives that much at work, but I guess it was enough that he knew who to ask about that.

So if I can't be the Morally Reprehensible Guy, I guess Knife Guy is a decent consolation.
