Sleepless In Duskwood

A/N: Yay, I managed to finish this before episode 10, so here we are! 😁

Alrighty my dear anons, I thank you both for your requests! 😊💚 I hope you don't mind that I combined them, as you both requested a similar thing. 😊 Also, I really hope that you will somehow find this to your liking. 😊 I actually had much fun writing this, so I sincerely hope that you will have fun reading it. 💚 And ofc, as always, please don't mind any mistakes you might stumble upon, as english is not my native language and I do give my best to try and spot them all before posting. 💚

„Will you STOP already!?“ Phil breathes out irritatingly and reluctantly lifts his head from his pillow to look at the black haired hacker. It's been little over an hour since he got home from the Aurora, and he really hoped to get those few precious hours of sleep before having to get up again, but the constant tossing and turning from the hacker started to drive him crazy.

Jake sits up and turns to him with an apologetic look „Sorry, but I can't sleep.“

Phil raise his eyebrow at him „Sunshine, if I counted correctly all the empty energy drink cans at your desk, I'm honestly surprised you're not walking on ceiling.“

„Huh? Oh, nah, it's not that. I only had three of those today.“ the hacker counters with a wave of his hand and turns his look away from him.

„We should definitely have a talk about your 'cleaning' habbits.“ Phil mutters to himself, but obviously not silently enough because Jake's eyes were back on him in a flash „What?“

„Oh, nothing, nothing.“ Phil quickly flash him with his most dazling smile, making a mental note about the cleaning talk before continuing „Ok, so what's up then?“

Jake sighs „I can't sleep.“

„Yes, we already established that, Sherlock.“ Phil snorts and roll his eyes, getting a scornful look back from the hacker in response.

„Look sunshine, I have like...“ he pause for a second to look at the clock on his phones display „...less than five hours to sleep, and you know I like nothing more than having you here with me.“

Even in the dimly lit room Phil could notice the young hacker blushing at his words, inciting a smile to his face, but no matter how cute the black haired might look at that moment, it still didn't change the fact that he really, really needed his sleep.

With a heavy sigh, he reluctantly continues in a more serious tone „But, I do have an extremely bussy day tomorrow, or should I say today. So sunshine, you might be cute and all, but I swear to gods, if you don't tell me something more concrete, I have no problem sending you to sleep on the couch.“

„All right, all right!“ Jake quickly replies, he very well knew how uncomfortable the couch is, as It happened more than a few times that he fell asleep on it. „I'm just- I can't relax enough.“

„Ahh, now we're getting somewhere.“ Phil exhales relieved that he finaly got something more out of him then grins „And luckily, I can help with that.“

It was now Jake's turn to raise his eyebrow with a doubtful look „If you're gonna suggest me to go drink a glass of warm milk or something like that, then I choose the couch straight away.“

Phil laughs amused „You're so cute, and funny. But no, sunshine, I have something much, much better in mind than a silly glass of warm milk.“

The look on Jake's face turns from doubtful to a curious, and slightly concern one „Uhm, ooookay. Well, are you gonna tell me, or we playing the '20 questions' game here?“

Phil chuckles and grins again „A massage.“

„A massage?“ Jake questions making Phil roll his eyes again „Am I speaking in tongues? Yes, a massage.“ He raise his eyebrow and adds jocularly „You do know what a massage is, right?“

„Ha ha, funny.“ Jake replies not trying to hide the irritation from his voice. „And, yes, I know what a massage is, I've had a few, just so you know.“

„So then, where's the problem?“

„No problem, it's just – I'm not really a fan of them.“ Jake remarks with a casual shrug.

„Ahh, sunshine, I can assure you you will change your mind once these magic fingers are done with you.“ Phil smiles devilishly and playfully wiggles his fingers at him.

„Eh, I don't know..“ the hacker groans unhappy, making Phil cross his arms and shrug indifferently „Well, either that or the couch way. Your choice.“

„Fine!“ Jake exhales defeated and throws himself face down on his pillow „Just, don't get pissed if your 'magic' won't work.“

„Trust me, sunshine, it will most certainly work.“ Phil leans down and whispers teasingly to his ear, the sensation of his warm breath on his skin sending electrifying tingles through his whole body.

Clearing his throat he tries to make his voice come out as steady as possible „Whatever. Go on, let's see your 'magic' at work.“

„As you wish.“ Phil says shortly, and even if he couldn't see his face, Jake was sure the bar owner was grinning confidently as he made himself sittuated to start.

He honestly didn't expect much from all this, but the moment Phil's lean fingers started movig across his back, with each move touching exactly the right spot with the exact right amount of pressure, he was unable to suppress a long sigh of pleasure escaping him.

„Oh, sorry, what was that you said?“ Phil teases with a chuckle, but he was so entranced fighting hard to make his lips to move and form any kind of comperhensible sentence, he barely managed to breath out „Magic, indeed.“

Phil laughs triumphantly and move his hand, once again hitting another right spot, getting another long sigh of pleasure from the hacker in response „Don't ever doubt me, sunshine.“

Not even fifteen minutes later Phil slowly leans back down on his pillow with a blissful smile. The room was quiet once again, the young hacker was sleeping peacefully next to him and he could finally do the same.

Unfortunately, just as he was about to drift off into the dream land, the loud snoring sounds from the hacker made his eyelids abruptly open. „You got to be KIDDING me!?!“ he groans in disbelief and sits up. And just when he thought the worst was over, this happens?

And so, after many desperate attempts of doing everything he could possibly think of to stop the hacker from snoring, he gives up, grabs his pillow and phone and drags himself to the living room. With a heavy sigh, he leaves the phone on the table, lowers the pillow on the couch and exhaustedly throws himself on it „I'm gonna need a coffe IV to survive this day.“

~ ~ ~ ~

Few short hours later, Phil jumps up at the sound of his alarm. Turning it off, he stands up and stretch, the sound of bones cracking from sleeping on the uncomfortable couch make him groan. „Ugh, I definitely need a new couch.“ he comments out loud sleepily moving towards the kitchen to put the coffee on.

Going back to the bedroom to get some clothes, his eyes fall on the still sleeping hacker. The temptation to jump on the bed and wake him up was great, but he quickly decided against it – it's been a while since the last time he slept for this long. And he did look cute, so yeah.

Dressed, he walks back to the kitchen, get some coffe and sit at the table with his laptop. Waiting for it to turn on, he takes a big sip of coffe moving his other hand to his neck to rub it – even if it was only a few hours of sleep he had on the couch, it was more than enough to make him all sore and stiff.

His attention at some important work stuff on the laptop suddenly gets interrupted by a cheerful voice of the young hacker "Good morning!"

Phil just shortly glance at him „Speak for yourself.“

He didn't really get fazed much by Phil's snarky greeting – he knew Phil was grumpy without enough coffe in the morning. But as he was advancing towards kitchen, his eyes fall on the couch. „Did you – you slept on the couch? But why?“ the hacker asks confused.

„Sunshine, your snoring would wake up the dead. So, yeah, unfortunately, I slept on the couch. If you can call it like that.“ Phil answer without averting his eyes from the laptop a bit more sharper than he thought necessary. He wasn't really mad at him, but the lack of sleep and the stiff pain made him a bit more grumpier.

The hacker turns back to him with a sincere apologetic look „Eh, I'm so sorry.“

„Yeah, yeah.“ Phil waves his hand absently then notice the time „Shit, I'm gonna be late.“ He hastily stands up collecting his stuff from the table, takes one last sip of his coffe and grabs the car keys and sunglasses from the counter.

Putting the sunglasses on, he hurries pass the hacker towards the doors „Gotta rush. Later, sunshine.“

„Wait, don't leave mad!“ The hacker calls after him „I'll make it up to you tonight.“

Phil pause at the half open door and raise his eyebrow intriguingly. Turning around, he pulls his sunglasses a bit down and regards him with a flirtatious look „In that case, sunshine, you better restock on your energy drinks – as I expect a lot of making up from you.“ With that, he turns and leaves the apartment and a completely red-faced hacker.

Outside, he adjust back his sunglasses walking to his car, unable to get rid of a goofy grin from his face. As he drove out of the parking space, he thought how even though today will be utterly exhausting for him, he definitely won't mind spending another sleeples night. Not at all.

Eijirou Kirishima x f!reader

Category: angst

Warnings: suicide (nothing graphic) slight cursing, mentions of sex under the cut

Summary: Kirishima's journey of learning how to live without you and the fault he feels for your decision.

A.n: This is told from Kirishima's POV, the character Daichi is completly random and has nothing to do with bnha lol. Things have been... Kinda bad lately, so I guess it's my way of ranting. Hope ya'll like it!

✧˖*✧˖*✧˖*✧˖*✧˖*

There’s a few Astilbes in a tall vase on my bedside table. There’s this sweet smell coming from them, but it’s masked by the scent of a strong vanilla cologne.

It’s cold in the room because I can’t make myself get up to close the window, which lets ice cold air from the darkness to leak in.

I’m talking with her on the phone while wrapping the phone charger around my finger, untangling then twirling it again. My fingers remembered it as a routine during the hour we spent talking.

Even if her words are joyful, even if she’s talking about how’s school been and how she spent today studying at this super cute coffee shop with her friends, her voice feels heavy. Heavy with something she doesn’t want to show me. Something that she tries to hide under her stuttering laugh and stories.

But I’m not stupid. I can hear hints of pain stabbing her in the “It was fun” like sharp knives, and her “My new classmates are awesome!” covered by a mask of longing.

I want to help her, but my throat is dry and my tongue feels like it’s tied. I am held back by my own insecurities and doubts - I don’t want her to think that I’m an idiot or that I’m not minding my own bussiness.

“Eijirou? You still there?” she asks, oddly calm.

I wake up from my little trance. It seems like I got lost in the halls of my mind again. I feel a bit guilty. Did she tell me something important?

“Sorry, I got carried away for a second,”

There’s silence on her end of the line. A sigh soon rolls off the silence. I screwed up again.

“No, it’s okay. Nothing important.”

I hold my breath. What did she say? The smartest thing to do right now is just ask her-

“I will go now. Thanks for the convo, though,”

My teeth catch my bottom lip and I bite it. Idiot. I’m a fucking idiot.

There’s silence staying on the phone with me for a while until a quiet beep announces the call ending.

I couldn’t really sleep that night.

Somewhere near midnight, the line between sleep and search for comfort within the spots of the celling, in the stripes of the wallpaper or the folds of the blanket, blurs.

I don’t know when did I fall asleep but I think I saw angels, or maybe, just soft rays of sun, flooding into the room through curtainless windows.

I’m thinking about her. I’m thinking about how’s her day going and if she got any new opportunities to join a big agency.

Calendar on the wall shows that today is 11th of April, 2022.

✧˖*✧˖*✧˖*✧˖*✧˖*

Time as a pro-hero flies fast. Now I have a lot of problems, or maybe, just more than I had when I was at school. I don’t bother to remember the names or faces of people. Don’t want to.

Bakugou says that I’ve changed and that others are really worried, but I just bury myself in more work.

I can’t tell when a patrol starts and ends or the voices of villains and other heroes. It all blurs into one mess that lays on my shoulders like a dark cloud.

I come back home with an empty head and a full work shedule.

While I try to watch TV, not minding the buzzing on the other side of window and in my head, the bouquet of pink Camellias in the vase seem to stare at me.

I try not to mind themuntil a delicate petal falls on my arm. I don’t know how to keep flowers. Maybe I should stop buying them - they seem to not like my place.

I try to change the water, hoping that this would fix everything, and then I go back to mindessly watching tv.

I wait. Laying in my bed, a soft blanket wrapped around me as I desperately search for any warmth. I wait. Tick Tock.

Then there’s only one minute left of waiting and that minute soons ends as my phone rings, throwing me out of my endless thoughts.

“Hey!”

“Hello! How are you? How was hero work today?”

Her voice sounds different today. A lot brighter, like she has a smile on her face as she’s talking and I feel myself smiling too.

“It’s good, it’s good... Hero work is hard, as always. I’ve got a nasty case, dealing with some shitty drug dealers. It’d be better if you told me about your day.”

She stays quiet for a moment. It feels as if she’s holding her breath and, for a moment, I hold mine too. As if we’re underwater in our own safe bubble, where no one else can reach us.

“Everything’s very good. Great, even,” she finally answers and our bubble bursts.

“How did that audition go?”

“Uhm, I didn’t go.”

I frown, not even knowing what to say. She wouldn’t shut up about that audition, how the hero that ran it shared her opinions and ideals, how that place was just a dream, how-

“Why?” I trap all of my thoughts in that simple word.

“Just thought it wasn’t worth it,”

I wrap my finger around the phone charger and unwrap it again.

“Why?” I repeat my question again, dumbfounded.

“Dunno, maybe that place wasn’t that fit for me after all.”

“Oh.”

“Yeah.”

After that silence follows. Then we talk some more about work, but it seems that conversation just doesn’t flow freely tonight. I drag it out like bubblegum that’s not meant to stretch this far.

“I’m coming back for a few days soon.”

I almost jump up. Don’t know if it’s from excitment or from shock. I haven’t seen her for a year.

“Wait, really?” I ask, finding it hard to believe.

“Yeah, and I have a huge favor to ask.”

“Anything.”

“Could I crash at your place while I’m here?”

My heart jumps with excitment. She’s more than welcome to stay. My heart aches just at the thought about an opportunity to see her.

I suddenly remember that she’s still waiting for my answer.

“Yeah sure! Just give me a message when you have the date set.”

She sighs with relief,

“You’re the best, Eijirou.”

The way she says my name makes a blush creep up my checks,

“Don’t mention it.”

“I’ll call you tomorrow.”

“Okay.”

Just like that, the call ends and I’m left with pleasant silence. Tonight I don’t feel lonely.

The calendar shows 11th of April, 2023.

✧˖*✧˖*✧˖*✧˖*✧˖*

It’s a few weeks of waiting until she grants her promise. She stands at my door, more beautiful than ever and for a second, I doubt if that’s just a vision, but after she flashes one of her sunshine smiles I instantly know that she’s real. She’s there and she’s real.

I pull her into a tight embrace, burying my face in her hair. Words cannot describe how much I missed her.

I give her a bunch of red Chrysanthemums and I instantly knew it was worth getting to the flower shop so early in the morning - her smile lights up the room brighter than the sun ever could.

“I missed you, Eijirou,” the name rolls off her plump lips so softly. It gives me the feeling that if I do as much as breathe, I’ll shatter the moment.

We talk all day, watch some TV and then talk some more. The stars shine so bright tonight that we don’t even need lamps. It seems as if they’re enjoying our moment too.

She tells me countless stories and I want to hear each one of them over and over again, her voice makes me feel drunk off my mind.

She talks about struggling with living in a foreign country, about missing me and other friends, about everything that bothers her and I’m here to listen. Soon, I tell her all my secrets and we’re sitting in front of each other pulling away all of our lies.

I don’t know what events lead up to our next step. Truly, it’s all a blur and the only significant thing I can point out is the flowers, gently sitting in the tall glass vase.

We get rid of our clothes, the same way we got rid of our secrets just minutes ago. There’s nothing separating us now and we can and get drunk off each other’s bodies.

Making love with her is tender and sweet, with lots of praises and sweet nothings, she manages to whisper out.

I pause for a second, taking a moment to truly look at her and memorise every inch of her body. From the way her hair is draped on my pillow and her face is so calm, to the way her legs, wrapped around my waist try to pull me as close as possible.

We spend the night naked, flush against each other, finally free of everything. If only for a moment.

The calendar shows 14th of May, 2023.

When my phone rings again, I’m putting a bunch of yellow Zinnias into the vase. The flowers that I had before them have already wilted so I threw them away.

I sigh, expecting another call from her brother, who suddenly became worried about her like two weeks ago, or maybe someone from the former Bakusquad.

When I see her name on my phone I pick it up faster than I never knew I could.

“Eijirou...”

I haven’t heard her voice in so long, it almost feels surreal. I want her to repeat my name, slowly, so that could remember every syllable she says and repeat it on my mind forever.

“Is everything okay? I was so worried!”

Her voice cracks. I hear a quiet sniffle that she tries to hide.

“No, actually... No... I don’t like it there, I want to go home.”

All the other emotion in my body are conquered by pain. It’s so good to hear her, but it hurts so much to hear her voice is filled with sorrow I wished she would never experience. I want her to come back. I don’t care how selfish it is.

“I can’t... You know I can’t,”

I blink. I want to tell her, but my tongue feels heavy and all my words begin to slur.

I wake up with a jump. My shirt is flushed against my back and my whole body is covered in goosebumps. I snake my arms around myself, desperately seeking any kind of warmth.

My phone is turned off and the calendar shows 11th of April, 2024.

✧˖*✧˖*✧˖*✧˖*✧˖*

I put red and white striped Carnations in a vase. Flowers from before are dead, as always.

Work goes by the same as always and while I’m sitting down trying to finish tomorrow’s plans, I wait for a call.

Time goes by, but it doesn’t ring. Tick tock. She always calls at the same time.

She used to call at the same time, my mind corrects. I push that thought into the deepest part of my brain, never to be found again.

Tick tock. That’s how another hour goes by, filled with walking from one end of the room to the other and checking my phone again and again.

I don’t get a call.

The other three weeks are tense. The bags under my eyes are filled with darkness from staring at the windows during long, sleepless nights, searching for answers from the dark and dim stars. Answers that none of them want to give to me.

When I get a call, my clock shows that it’s almost 4am.

“Y/N?” I ask, my voice colored by hopeful hues. Droplets of sleep still hang on my lips.

“No, dude it’s Daichi.”

I grit my teeth. I’m not mad at him. I’m not mad at him for calling me, I’m not mad at him...

I’m mad because he’s not Y/N.

“Yeah?”

“I wanted to ask something about Y/N,”

“Eh?”

And what about her? For me to tell him what Y/N thought of him? To tell him that he was a bad brother? To tell him that his sister left because his family sucks?

“You’re her best friend.”

“Was.”

“What?”

“Was her best friend.”

“Yeah...”

“And?”

“And you.. Well you... Well she probably told you...”

“She didn’t,”

My answer is cold and what would put an end to this conversation.

“She... didn’t?”

He obviously doesn’t know when it’s time to end a conversation.

“Daichi, are you drunk?”

“It doesn’t matter.”

“Why are you calling me at 4am?”

He doesn’t say anything for a moment. Maybe it’s the only aspect he and his sister share - that small little doubt, showing that they’re never sure of what to say.

“Because I don’t u-understand,” he hiccups.

“What?”

Then his voice breaks, like a ship that’s slowly claimed by the waves to be sunken forever.

“Eijirou... Eijirou... I don’t understand why she left... Eijirou, was it really bad for her? Was it that bad that she couldn’t tell anyone?”

I bite my bottom lip until I feel a hot droplet of blood running down my chin. What do I say to him? That she was trying to tell them? That they didn’t listen? That none of us did?

“It’s not your fault, Daichi. Go to sleep,”

“But...”

“We’ll talk again tomorrow if you want to. Now go to sleep.”

“Okay, thanks.”

“Yeah.”

I end the call and fall back to my bed. My bed is incredibly cold and unwelcoming. I slump my way towards the kitchen and sit there until the first droplets of liquid gold begin to pour inside.

Calendar shows 11th of April, 2025.

I put Cyclamens in the vase. It’s the day we meet again. I don’t know what to hope for and while I’m going, my insecurities and fears follow close, only to disappear as soon as i see her.

She looks like a goddess. Her hair like rays of sunshine that found their place in the waves of locks on her head, her skin seems to shine, like it’s been kissed by stars and her smile only compliments her beauty.

Nothing’s changed but when I come closer, I notice that her eyes are different. All the happiness and joy is drained and now they’re empty. No, not empty... Just filled with something I can’t quite identify.

“It’s you...” I manage to whisper and before I start feeling like an idiot, she laughs with that wonderful laugh wrapping me with the feeling of safety, telling me that everything’s okay.

“It’s me.” she confirms and puts her forehead against mine. We drown in the silence, away from everything.

“I often wonder why you did that.”

She pulls away and her hands find their place on the back of my neck, as if we’re dancing, “I did it for myself.”

I sigh, “I don’t understand it. I don't understand it, Y/N,”

My hands dance on her waist, not finding their place.

“I wasn’t happy, Eijirou. I wasn’t happy there.”

I sigh again and pull her against my body. She smells like vanilla and clean laundry,

“Could I’ve made you happy?” I quietly ask and she raises her glance. Her empty eyes that pulled me in so strongly.

“No, it’s not your fault, Eijirou,” she answers and wipes away my tears that I didn’t even know were falling, “I did it for myself, I did it so I could be happy. Eijirou, I feel good now.”

I look up to the bright blue sky. There’s only one cloud there.

I take in a stuttering breath.

“Wasn’t there anything I could do?” Tears now flow freely as I try to not look at her. Somewhere deep inside I know this isn’t real and I’m afraid that she’ll disappear if I look at her for too long.

She takes my face into her hands, softly stroking it with one hand. Her glance is soft and for a moment, I see the Y/N I used to know before.

“All you can do right now is forgive me,” she whispers and I pet her silky hair, “And forgive yourself, Eijirou. You can’t carry the guilt of other people’s choices. You can’t live with a fault that isn’t your’s.”

That’s the last time I hear her voice.

When I wake up, I see her face right before my eyes but it’s not a ghost who drags a trail of unanswered questions after itself. No, it’s now a person I once loved so much. A person that I couldn’t hate for leaving me in pieces of my former self.

There’s a bunch of yellow Daffodils and Forget-Me-Not’s in my hands. Forget-Me-Not’s for a promise, that she’ll always be dear to me and Daffodils - the second promise, that I will finally start everything over again.

I leave the flowers on her grave, which I finally visited after two years.

It’s time to forgive her. It’s time to forgive myself.

I come back home and check the calendar for the last time. My new beginning is on 11th of April, 2026. Two years after her death.

“The sun will rise, and we will try again,” she used to say. With those words, I breathe in and peel the calendar page off.

Ugh two days left bitches two days left.

Also I woke up at like 1 today (in the afternoon) so i feel riproaring to get some stuff done in the meantime what this means is that I'm gonna do a small chore between each of the movies we're watching and since I already sent off a work email I get a freebie ok les go.

Satan At Play (1907) dir. Segundo de Chomón

I mean we love a synopsis that starts with UWU "satan was bored"

so this is less narrative then the letterboxd discription implies. This is essentially more like a magic show Satan is bored and so in a revue style he pulls off a series of illisions more daring then the last which even like a hundred years later the effects are spectacular.

Bottom line is that Segudo is a bad bitch.

ok so it turns out "The Dombes" is a place in france thats basically pasture land that has a bunch of shallow ponds.

this movie is sort of non narrative or at least surreal. Essentially the character takes a trip to The Dombes, and just sort of gets lost. the imagedry gets more explicitly about death until the character literally dresses up as Chiron and crosses one of the ponds to look at a gravestone with Isabelle name on it.

ok so this is a fun silly little cartoon. this was part of the New Universal and Walter Lantz productions cartoons. Yes Walter Lantz as the guy who did Woody Woodpecker. No Idea who Lester Kline is and the information I have on him is a bit limited. Also the characters for this are the simple simians, who are apparently chipanzee siblings. Normally I find monkeys to be kinda freaky but these ones are cute.

Insurance co is saying my car is totalled?

It should be no surprise they support the government forcing everyone to buy their product. Imagine how the hamburger industry would respond if the government forced everyone to have hamburgers for lunch or pay fines? According to the President's Council of Economic Advisers, the average annual premium for single coverage is $4,321. If the 46 million uninsured are forced to purchase private health insurance at that price, then the insurance industry stands to bring in up to $200 billion in new insurance premiums per year. The Senate bill also includes an estimated $630 billion in corporate welfare for private insurance companies in the form of subsidies over the next 10 years, creating even less incentive than currently exists for private insurance premiums to be lowered. To make matters worse, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services estimates that 19 million Americans would not buy insurance and as a result would be forced to pay $29 billion in taxes/fines. The Joint Committee on Taxation has made it clear that failure to pay these fines could result in jail time. Thirty-six states have passed or are considering measures that would allow their residents to opt out, including Virginia, Utah, Pennsylvania, Florida, Minnesota, Michigan, Georgia and Ohio. Given these fact, it is not surprising that a recent NBC News poll finds 57 percent of Americans do not want the government to create a law that requires everyone to have health insurance coverage and that only 38% of Americans favor the mandate, making it the least popular part of the bill. I immediatly run into old swedish news about freedom of speech (OBS! It's not "speach" they're dealing about - so it becomes 'political' - if China isn't aware of the immature approach to words that now happen in Sweden, the region on the global map) - and today, The Guradian have a prize-win-newsarticle from the 19:th of November (see theguardian-link below). To exlplain a little about a swedish law-term ("defamation", in eng) called "foertal" ("to talk to early", also "to gossip", "lie about someone" and "to presume+spread rumours" - used in previous named "#metoo-campaigns"), I made this picimage/post about what can happen/be seen - when a population don't know what they do (when they're doing it). The Gatestone Institute has an article from Judith Bergman that says something about what have happen before in Sweden (published in April 2018) - and describe a former police officer, his organisation - named "The Webhate Investigator" - and their "cleaning of webhate online", sending reports of "incitament of hate" to the authorities - 750 reports were made in 2017, according to J.Bergman. I'll be back - must smoke! Back, and writing... out of these 750 reports only 14% led to a solid police-case - which means "foertal"/"defamation" was started in the other cases 2017. If I, myself, is an example/victim of such a personal "revolt" or "#metoo-campaign-pray" (they also had an hash-tag named "#ego_is_here", whatever that can lead into - "ego" is short for "egoistic/egocentric" in today's modern swe) - I don't know (it happens beyond you're awareness), but I see police departments and "thought-police" (mental doctors) do investigations the wrong way, with alot of presumtions/predemptions and accusations based upon plain out right lies. My own case is about being a stalker of an old (?) "girlfriend" - who that girlfriend is (I have had so god damn many - NOT!) or who really is the accusator of such "mumbo-jumbo", I never saw any name of either. It's hell upon Earth when "state attack the individual" - as if "legion" ("great in numbers" in eng) always were right in so called righteous manners. That's is WRONG! Even in Asterix & Obelix... Remember you're not seen... and "stoning" is an illness from a "goverment" - and I send that brilliant "idea", right back at you. As Obelix do, in his books. Swedish law enforcement is still going strong for another "Freedom of speech"-case (the chinese writer Gui, mentioned above) - but what kind of psychiatric division do they themselves support? If their own citizens are attacked in psychological warfare - by an institution they (in many many cases) has taken for granted - "granted" is a good, free gift, that please many... or should I say "most of the population", a collective or majority. But do they know anything about what truth is - or what to acknowledge it's opposite will lead everything to? Fantasy might be a funny thing, until it strucks yourself - then you have to fight d'evil within yourself - so, don't support truth's opposite... because that is "fantasy/fiction" - and being among the collective/majority in opinions or beliefs (in comparison to 'knowledge') can be your worst misstake. It's not a guarantee for your... success, in life... force. I can't afford to write that much about what happen in the world since I decided to go "another way" than the fake UN-Human Rights (article 19), in November last year, up in London, GBR. I have to "come back" without any greater unified insurance/protection, by "private means"/"private safety" as it also can be called - it has been done before (before UN and it's declaration). I writing my blog to fight what a socialistic red government of a "swedish region" (I proclaim myself being the true swede/the suede - so I don't like to call the region "Sweden" anymore, they are a BIG dissapointment to any who see what they do/done in this (my own) case) has done to myself, my private rights to express my knowledge in bussiness/economy and solving any kind of problems - within that region once. All that proclaim a "universal whole" goes into that Seinfeldt-joke - of "latest fashion", as it was from outer space. "Multiversal worldconceptions", is the righteous way of thinking. "Axes of evil" I've described in my little "Newspaper-giveaway" that I wish to spread for(e) a greater foundation of reality-conceptions among common/usual/normal or original people (there are differences, in the real world-conceptions) - the theorists are in a lead of a totalitarian control (in beliefs most easily described), but there's a change of plans. PART 6

The day i got released form hospital finaly came. I was happy about it, taking a breath of fresh air will be a welcoming change after over three weeks in here. Some bruises wer still visable, and my head hurted from time to time, but other then that the doctor gave me a green light. And having too much free time makes your toughts wonder in wrong direction too much. Thinking about Jake was my daily routine, and i hoped once i get out other things will get me occupied. Jessy wanted me to stay with her, but i managed to persuade her that i'd be better of at the motel. She reluclantly agreed, but I argued that i would still be resting most of the time, and promised her we will see eachother every day, wich made her respect my decision a bit more. She called me that moring, telling Dan will come and drive me to the motel, because she was bussy planing a surprise for me. „Oh, Jessy, pleas dont go overboard, it is my first day out, i wont be up for much.“ I protested, but she quickly reasured me its nothing big. Knowing Jessy, i was sceptical about it, but she sounded so happy that i just agreed to whatever she had in plan. I was about done packing, when Doris came bringing me my dischrage papers. She gave them to me, embracing me in a tight hug „You be good now, hun. And remember what i told you before.“ She said, giving me one more of her winks. „Thank you, Doris.“ I replied, handig her a chocholate bombonier i asked Jessy to get me. „For everything.“ I hugged her once more. „No need to thank me, hun.“ „Ahh, Doris, im jelaous, i didnt get a hug from you when i was leaving the hospital.“ It was Dan, being dramatic again. I laughed, as Doris went for the door „Schmacks dont deserve hugs!“ she grinned at him, and left. „She likes me...she just wont admit it.“ Dan said, grining. „So,you ready to leave this shithole?“ „Definatly!“ i said, taking my discharge papers and putting them in my pack. Dan took it from me, and we left the room, taking the elevator down. Stepping outside was so refreshing, i stopped at the exit for a brief moment, wich made Dan turn „You allrigh there?“ „Im good, just appriciate being outside again.“ I smiled. We continued to the car. Dan opened the door for me, putted my stuff on the back seat, and we drove towards motel. I rolled the window down letting the cool morning air blow to my face and through my hair. The drive wouldnt last that long, and Dan informed me that Jessy booked the room for me already and took the rest of my stuff there, and my car also waiting for me at the motels parking. „Dan, whats Jessy planing for me today?“ i asked. „Oh, no,no, im keeping my mouth shut!“ he replied, but i groaned at him pleading „Please, Dan, at least give me a hint. I just got out of hospital, and to be honest, im not up for big fanfaras, but i dont want to dissapoint Jessy either. And lets be honest, its Jessy wer talking about here, nothing is small or meaningless with her.“ He laughed at that „Your right about that! Alright, ill tell you, but if she realize you knew something..“ „Dont worry, i can act being genuinely surprised with no problem.“ I asured him. „Well, its nothing much, rellay. We're taking you for dinner.“ he said. Ok, thats not so bad, i tought, i do have to eat. „And she invited the gang to Aurora this evening, to celebrate your release from hospital.“ Ugh, i hoped that wouldnt happen so soon, that i would at least have a day or so for me before seeing everyone. „Ah, crap, i guess it was bound to happen sooner or later.“ I said, adding „Later would be better, tho.“ „Dont worry, Maya, ill be there to rescue you, AGAIN.“ He grinned at me, and i grinned back „Good, because i just might need some rescuing, again.“

Dan left me at the motel, and i entered the small checkin office. The woman behind the counter was eldery, and she smiled at me „Good morning, miss, what can i do for you?“. „Morning'“ i replied, smiling back „I had a room booked for me by a friend, i guess you know her, Jessica Hawkins?“. She smiled more now „Ah, ofcourse, miss Cole i presume?“ i nooded in agreement. „Yes, Jessica brought all your belongings already. I would just ask for you to fill this, please.“ She handed me that check in paper you get at every motel. I filled it, and she gave me the key.“You're at room 11, its on your right once you leave the office. And i'm Ms. Walter, fell free to ask if you need anything.“ „Thanks, i will.“ I replied, taking the key.

The room looked cozy enough. It had a big bed, with a little nightstand next to it with a lamp on it. There was a midium size table in front of a big window, wich i immidiatly felt greatefull for, since some natural light is what i prefere for my drawing work, and a closet next to it. Across from the bed was a TV, and a little refrigeratore under it. The bathroom was small, wich is more then enough. I left my stuff on the bed, when i noticed a note on the nightstand. 'The car key is in the nightstand drawer. Get some rest, and see you later! Xoxo' It was from Jessy, and that made me smile. I took the key and went to the car to get the rest of my stuff. The day was nice and sunny, and i tought i souldnt spend the whole day in the motel. I went back to the room, unpacked, grabed some clean clothes and went for a shower. When i got dressed i sat at te table and turned my laptop on. I checked my mails, and some job offers. Its good when you're a freelancer, you can work from anywhere, and I actually felt some work might keep me occupied and not let my mind wonder to Jake. The tought of him leaving my hospital room two weeks ago still pained me, but i cant sit here and despair all the time, so i decided to grab my drawing stuff and head exploring. I hoped Jessy wouldt mind me going to town alone, she did promise me a grand tour of it once im out of the hospital. I took my phone and texted her „Hey hey, setteled at the motel. Going for a walk arround, but dont worry, im still looking forward for my tour arround Duskwood with you! xoxo“. She replied soon „Oh, nice, have fun! Just stay out of woods! xD See you for dinner J „. Great, now i could leave without feeling any guilt. I grabbed my backpack and left the motel.

I decidet to walk towards the marketplace, i had plenty of time since it wasnt even noon yet, and Jessy and Dan wont pick me up before 19. I passed a small bakery on my way there, and bought me some food and a bottle of water. The streets leading towards marketplace wer small and narrow, mostly with older buildings and pretty quiet. After some 30-40 minutes of slow walk, i emerged to the marketplace, and it was comepletly different. The crowd thickened, and the place hummed with life. In the center was a nice funtain, with benches in circle arround it. Few wer occupied with people: one had an eldery couple, just sitting there on the sun and talking, on the other wer two mothers, drinking coffee while kids wer running arround, giggling and enjoying a nice day. I sat on one of the free benches, and took my drawing pad out. The warmth of the sun felt nice, and i began drawing. I can get quite zoomed out of my surroundings when drawing, so when i finaly noticed someone was standing in front of me, i jumped, and my penciles flew all over the floor. I started to stan up from the bench, at the same time that someone started to bend down to help pick them up,our heads coliding. That sent me sitting back on the banch, as both of us groaned from the impact. „Auch.“ I flinched, looking at the person stnding there. It was Jake. „Sorry, i didnt mean to sneak up on you.“ he said, still rubbing his forehead. „No, no, its fine, i was really focused, i didnt see you there.“ I barely managed to say, my voice shakey, clumsely picking my penciles from the floor.He was the last person i expected to run into. I really wasnt ready for this, the knot in my stomach starting to form, as i finaly collected all the penciles and sat back on the bench. I knew we wer gonna run at each other eventualy, but not so soon. He sat next to me, and i could notice by his body language he was a bit nervouse, too. „You look better.“ he said after a moment of silence, giving me a small smile, wich made my heart skip from joy. „Thanks, i feel much better,too.“ I replied, smiling back. He was looking at me so tenderly, and the heat from the sun made me so hot, i had a feeling my cheeks wer red as a lobster. He run his hand through his hair, and all i could think is how much i wanna do that. His look became more serious now, his eyes becoming darker, but that tenderness was still present. „Maya..“ he started „That day at the hospital.. I didnt..I'm sorry..“ but i interupted him. „No need to appologise, Jake, really.“ And he really didnt have to. I continued, before he could say anything else. „Look, its like this: you had every right to act like you did, and even tho it wasnt easy for me to hear you say those stuff, you wer right, in a way.“ He looked me a bit confused. „You wer probably right, I didnt think quite hard about every possible thing that could go wrong, and God knows i had more luck then im willing to admit. But thats just who i am: i act, i go with the flow, i make mistakes. And i appologise when I realize I was wrong, wich I would do to you if you just stayed for a while more. And i mean appologise for not telling you, or anyone about my plan, not for what i did at the end, hence me saying that you wer right in a way.“ I looked at him, he was still calm, not a trace of that anger i saw at the hospital anywhere on his face. That made me relax a bit. „Maya, just let me...“ he started again, but i interputed him once more „Please, Jake, just let me finish, then you can say whatever you wnat.“ He nodded in agreement. „ I know saying 'sorry' at that time seemed so pointless, but you have to know that i really am sorry, Jake, a thousand times sorry. Yet, i still stand by what i said, i would do it all over again, no matter the qonsequences.“ I paused for a moment, before i continued „I really hope you can forgive me. I got so used at having you in my life, and for it to end here and now...“ He looked at me, but i couldnt bring myself to look back at him. I just stared at my hands, not realizing this whole time i was clasping them so tightly. „I hope you wont shut me out of your life comepletly.“ We sat there in silence for what seemed like eternity. I got my courage and looked at him. He was staring in the distance now. „I felt helpless.“ he said, looking back at me now. „It got me...scared.“ he confessed, and i ached to just hug him. I could see this was being hard for him, saying it. „I've had that happen once before in my life, and it didnt end well.“ His eyes became so sad. „I'm not sure im ready to go through it again.“ That knot at my stomach tightened as he said it, but i took a deep breath „I understand. I'v let you down, i know. But i hope with time, you will be able to trust me again..let me be your friend, at least.“ Friend...that word felt so wrong to me. I didnt want to be just his 'friend', i wanted to be more, so much more. But, i guess at the moment i would be happy with anything. He stared at me for a moment, and before he said it, a smile formed at the corner of his lips „One step at the time.“ „Thats all im asking.“ I said, smiling shyly. He sat there in silence for a brief moment before slowely getting up. „You're good, by the way.“ He said, and i looked at him puzzeled, wich made him smile. He had such a sincere and wonderfull smile. „Your drawing, its good.“ He continued, pointing at my drawing pad. „Oh, that, thanks!“ i replied. „I better be good, i doubt i'll get paid otherwise .“ i grinned. He shook his head at me smiling, walking slowely away from the bench „See you arround, Maya.“ „See you, Jake.“ Watching him walk away this time didnt leave me in pain and agony. I felt hope again. Maybe Doris and Jessy weren't talking nonsence, afterall, I tought, not realising i was grinning like crazy.

After Jake left, i just sat there, letting my heart stop beating insanely. I was really happy for how our unexpected meeting went, i tought there really was some hope for us again. Oh man, Jessy will go crazy when i tell her all about it, she will so rub me her ' i told you so's' in the face! That got me laughing out loud, a few passerbys looking at me like i was crazy. And they wer right, i was crazy! Crazy for Jake. Everything about him drow me crazy: his gorgeous eyes, that ruffeled hair, and that beautifull smile. He shoud definatly smile more, i tought, his whole face smiles when he does it. The churchbell chimmed five , and i cursed under my breath. I better head back to the motel, i need another shower for sure. I quickly grabbed my stuff from the bench, deciding to grab coffee before headiding back. My toughts wer still running wild about Jake as i was walking back towards motel, i colided with a man. I almost dropped my coffe, quickly appologizing. „Be carefull there, miss, you never know who you might bump into.“ He said, a bit grim, like he was makeing a threath. I looked at him a bit astonished „Uhm, i will mister, thanks for your advice. And, sorry again!“ I slowly turned and continued my way. Strange guy i tought, but didnt pay any more toughts about it continuing back to the motel.

My wife and I are in our 40's and 50's. We have created A/B trusts and transferred our assets to them, and expect to have estates that will benefit from the estate tax saving these trusts afford. We recently both purchased $1M 10-year renewable term life insurance policies that we expect to keep for 10 years. We chose not to use life insurance trusts because the purpose of the policies is to replace the lost income of the deceased spouse if one of us dies relatively soon, not to increase our final estate, and the trusts are somewhat costly. We each specified our own trusts as the beneficiaries, because we want the disposition of assets specified there to be used for this money. The trusts provide for the income, and principle if needed, to be paid to the spouse, and for the remainder to be paid to our child at the remaining spouses death. The question of ownership of the policies is less clear. My lawyer says that it doesn't make much difference who owns them, because the value (estate) taxed is only one year's premium, not the $1M. My accountant says that the $1M is taxed, and that each policy should be owned by the other spouse to avoid tax on that amount. A friend said that there's no way to avoid or significantly decrease the tax, so just leave the ownership as is (each spouse owns their own policy). A further fly in the ointment is that the insurance company (Massachusetts SBLI) makes some forms of trust ownership more difficult and costly. I'm confused. What ownership is the best? Insurance totalling my car looks suspicious?

At this point I regret making a claim and wish i could turn back the clock. I am being forced into a box and it looks shady. Three weeks ago my 2005 Cadillac STS was involved in a parking lot flood where the water rose and filled the floors of my car by about 4 inches. All us neighbors had cleaning parties using a wet vac and baking and toweling are cars in the sun over the next few days letting our vehicles dry out. On my car everything works like a dream as it did before with the exception of a 'check stability control' notice that comes on when I start the car. I have been driving the car fine since the flood and decided maybe I should make a claim to fix this error that pops up on the dash when i start the car. From the time I dropped it off at the dealer it has been all negative. Right away the dealer was negative and telling me it's the end of the world with my car, everything is ruined and it will probably be a total loss. He got the adjuster for my insurance company out there and it looks like it will be put in to the total loss category. No i am just asking the insurance company to forget everything and drop the claim because the damage is not that extreme and i dont want to lose my car. I am told at this point it is too late. Is that true? My neighbors are floored by this, i have been driving it around for a few weeks just fine and the car still looks new With only 62000 miles on it. I can't help from thinking that something suspicious is going on here. Do they stand to make a nice profit by totalling my vehicle and then replacing one module for a 1000 or so and having a perfect car with all systems working? Also the lady from the claims office said the car had to be 80% damaged for it to be a total loss. I asked her if this was based on speculative problems that they think may occur in the future because of the water, or based on actual damage now? She said it had to be actual damage now but couldn't give me any details from the adjuster yet. First kill

It was in the aftermath of what had happened with my brother. I had to go through a lot of therapy, a lot of suppressed memories. I didn't think I needed that mandatory therapy, I still think the same. I think it was all just a time spent talking about things that are where they supposed to be, in the past. I had to take a lot of medication too. Annoying. I was fine, and still am. I don't need some pills to do my job, nor live my life. I am fine.

I came back to my outpost, and back on duty 6 months after killing my own brother in the abandoned hospital. I had a lot of paperwork to do, and, quite honestly, a lot of time to do so. After all, I lived in the most boring town of the most boring state in the world.

It was all easy money. No work, but get paid, really nice.

Anyway, to get back to the story.

I was bored. But not like checking the fridge every five minutes bored. No. I was out of my skin bored. Nothing felt comfortable, nothing felt quite right. So I decided to change it.

That's when I found her.

A cute little red haired woman. Social study proffessor at our local community college.Almost as damaged as me. I ran a background check on her the same day I met her. Don't judge me, in my line of work, we are taught to doubt everyone.

Anyhow, it was like in the movies. We met by bumping onto each other on the street. I knocked some papers out of her hands. Must have been an exam or something like that, since she was carrying a lot of those.

Stress... That was all I saw in her eyes. It was like she was ashamed of looking me in the eyes. Either that, or she was afraid of me.

I mean I wouldn't blame her. Even my coworkers looked at me with a certain dose of fear. I guess that was because I shot and killed my own brother. My own flesh and blood. But that didn't change me.not one bit.

All I know is that I started writting again. I used to do that a lot when I was a child. All of my proffessors told me I had a gift for imagining, and writting things only I could see. But alas, it was not in my plan. To live of of my imagination. It's too unstable of a job for theese times. And I liked catching idiots in crime more. Seemed a lot more fun than it really is. I mean the worst was when some granny called me to report her senior neighbour for "killing" her dog. It would be all good, if that was my job, and if that same granny DID have a dog. Her dog died of old age five years prior to her calling me to investigate.

Anyway, that night I got back to writting, I didn't even realise I was writting. I was just sitting home, at my lap top (kind of the same as I am now) and I was doing my research on the proffessor I mentioned a little bit earlier. I was listening to Beethovens' Moonlinght sonata third movement, when my fingers started following the music on the keyboard. Funny enough, I don't even remember opening Word when I started typing.

When I finished, I was stunned by what my subconcience, along with my brain, produced. I never knew I could write something like that.

"It was at the corner of the main street, and 52nd. There was a nice warm breeze, with a really nice, and sweet smell in the air. The sun was shining, so I needded my sunglasses to see better. It was really nice, and pleasant to be outside in this conditions. I felt warmth surrounding me, and soft breeze going through my hair and beard. How long since I shaved last time? I don't even remember. Or maybe I do, but I just don't care. Something hit me!!! Panic! Wow! That smell is hers. Did she bump into me, or did I bump into her while being lost in translation of this fine fine pre-summer weather? I menaged to collect myself to muster a simple and quiet "sorry". Then she looked up, while we were both collecting some papers of fromthe pavement. Those eyes. Wow! I was simply stunned. Like someone had just hit me over the head with a montauin, on top of a plane on top of a tractor. I was cemented in place. That sorrow. Fear. Shiverring. So much potential for those eyes. I hope to see them lighten up next time I meet this mysterious woman."

Amazing what my subconcience caught, and remembered. I couldn't put it like that even if I tried my best to do so.

I did my "research", and I found her.

She was broken, almost as I was. Her ex, who she lived with abused her. Beatings on a daily basis, and sometimes even rape. And she tolerated his behavior. Idiot. He is not changing for anyne honey. Get that through to that smart brain of yours.

I waited for her outside her classroom the next day. As she walked through that door, I suddenly smelt that same beautiful candy flavored scent all around me.

"Hi. Can I help you with something?" were the first words she said, after which she froze for a second. I guess she remembered who I was.

"Actually, you can. I would like to talk to you, if that is okay with you." I said after a moment of hesitation.

"This way, please" she said as she lifted her right arm, showing me the way.

"Please, hae a seat. Would you like something to drink."

"Just a glass of water, if you don't mind, it's very hot outside." I lied. I was feeling hot, and I was sweating like a pig because of her.

"Okay, so please tell me, detective, what can I do for you?"

(I could think of a couple of things) "Well, this may sound a bit wierd, but I can't get you out of my head since yesterday, so I snooped around for a bit, and I came here with intention to just have a conversation with you. I hope that is okay with you miss."

"Wh... Why would you like to have a conversation with me? Did I do something?"

"No, no" I assured her "I am not here onofficial police bussiness today. I just wanted to get to know you. You intrigue me."

"Intrigue?"

"Yes! I could see fear of men in general in your eyes, not the usual kind of fear I am used to, after... Well, you know."

"Yes, I do. So what would you like to know?"

"Tell me everything."

And she did. Don't worry, thi isn't a play, so I will not write the entire conversation. Even if I wanted to, I don't remember like 70% of that.

Anyhow, we started dating. Me, a loner, who didn't like to be touched, and just sat in silence, or listened to classical music for hours at a time, and her, a social study proffessor, beaten and raped by her ex boyfriend.

We heard he was in jail for possessing, and using drugs, and a gun. I was so 'surprised' when I heard the news. Scum of the earth. Parasite. What do you think, who tipped him of?

To this day, he swears he was framed. I only partially agree with him. He was stupid enough to not notice what 'someone' left in his apartment.

Anyhow, her eyes were glowing that day. It was like looking into two big-ass hazelnut colored stars on top of a body sitting across me during dinner.

That night she went wild. We ended up in my house. It was like magic. She was out of control.

Like she knew what I had done, and rewarded me for my 'mision'. I felt her. Everywhere. That scent I felt, it wasn't perfume, my friends, no. Her skin was what gave that scent away. And now, that scent was smeared all over my body. So much sweat, those moans, right volume, right place. Right into my ear, as she bit that same ear. That drew out some unknown flame out of me. Even I didn't know I had that inside me.

I was like wild animal. I kept going faster, harder, deeper.

"Choke me" she whispered.

Her pulse. So strong. So disturbed. So unequal. Her blood flow. As I squeezed, I felt more and more things under my palm. I felt her breath wearing thin, her voice chords stretching, like she was trying to say something. But I couldn't hear anything lost in that sudden impact of power, passion, and bloodlust. I kept squeezing life out of her.

That fear in her eyes. That look as she realized she is not going home anytime soon. That look as she realized she said wrong words to the wrong person. That fear as she realized she was, indeed, going to die.

That somehow made me want more of it, and made me even wilder.

When I came to, she wasn't moving.

As I looked down, I realized that she wasn't even breathing.

Ode to death. That was playing in the background, on my gramophone, silently, inpatiently.

A fitting part, don't you think?

I have to make her disappear. So, i went into the woods, and lit a fire. I was very careful, and I waited for quite some time.

I didn't know that human flesh smells so bad when set on fire.

After the fire died out, I checked to be sure there was nothing left as evidence. After all, I am a homicide detective. It would be a very cruel joke if I had to chase, and try to catch myself.

After that, I called Rangers'department, and reported a smoke coming out from the forest.

As I sat down in a chair in my living room, I sipped some bourbon, and I was looking at the almost empty bottle, when I realized one little fact. Now, I am a killer. I am not terrified, nor am I sorry for what I did. I liked it, very much, for that matter. And I was sure of only to things.

One, I am not stopping anytime soon.

And two, that was my first kill.
