Many people know about web hosting, but not as many know what cPanel hosting is. Web hosting is the process that allows you to upload your website onto a host's server, which then gets delivered to its viewers through the internet. With this method, you don't have control over the server or its content. If you want to know more then visit our website.

Cross-Site Request Forgery - Protecting Your Site from CSRF Attacks
Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) is a very common vulnerability that hackers exploit on many websites. CSRF is a shortened form of cross site scripting vulnerability. CSRF is a popular attack in phishing attacks. Hackers use false user agent scripts and trick web administrators to open unwanted scripts. There are two ways to exploit the CSRF vulnerability. You can execute the CSRF script directly on a victim's web browser. The second is to run it on a vulnerable website server.
Tumblr media
Cross-site scripting vulnerability occurs when an attacker controlled host machine processes a CSRF request on behalf of another user. The CSRF attacker then uses this user agent script to modify the response headers of the victim's web applications. CSRF attacks are when an attacker creates an HTML webpage or a Flash video using a scripting language. Some common forms of CSRF attacks include:
A CSRF attacker could execute a series of small CSRF operation. An example of such an operation is filling out a forms, submitting it to a reverse lookup directory, and then sending a refresh token before the document is finally approved. This can be done across many web pages. However, an even more sophisticated CSRF prevention method allows an attacker to perform CSRF attacks across multiple steps in a transaction. One bank allows customers to perform multi-step transactions.
A CSRF attack can also be done by using a " CSRF payload " - a crafted text or data packet that contains the expected CSRF destination, methods, and the CSRF payload itself. A CSRF header in an "email" is a packet that includes the target domain and subject fields containing victim's domain names, as well as the attack method, payload, and exploit url. The victim may be able to open an exploits-enabled email with the exploit URL in it and also get their email address. Apart from these kinds of techniques, the attacker can also use the subject field to trigger web vulnerability checks (usually for local network level security).
A CSRF vulnerability may also be present between HTTP requests. An HTTP request is made up of a number of XML request handlesrs which communicate with an XML resource. XML messages that are received on these handlers can contain additional information such as the destination URL. This is a CSRF attack known as a "CSRF Disclosure". It allows attackers easy access to identify vulnerable resources. A vulnerability in a XML message is one example. Another type is a vulnerability that can be found in a Java application or Portable Document Format app. Or in an open source implementation.
Cross-site scripts, or XML (cross site scripts), are another means of exploiting CSRF. This attack is quite simple: rather than directly connecting to victim's server, a CSRF attacker can send a request for a sitemap to a different websiteserver. The victim's site will then be impersonated. The victim will then be redirected to a false web page that will contain the CSRF destination URL, typically controlled by the attacker. On the majority of web servers, a "sitemap" allows the server to trace the path of any CSRF message that has originated. To solve this problem, most web servers provide cross-site scripting features that serve as a security check against cross site scripting (XML) attacks.
Cross-site request forgery is a common attack method used by attackers to create user accounts on sites using popular CMS's like Joomla and WordPress. An attacker may have access to login information in these accounts that could allow them bypass authorization checks for cross-site scripts. Another method of attack is to inject Javascript in content, which opens a new tab with the same information that the original page has. Also send SQL commands to sensitive databases. For instance, if you are using a Joomla login and password to access a website, and you submit an SQL command to your database, you could potentially open the database with the wrong password.
In many cases, the only way for an application developer to detect and stop a CSRF attack is to change the CSRF token. The application developer can do this by either updating or rewriting the web code. It is often possible to compromise CSRF tokens without needing to modify or rewrite web applications code. The end user will not be able to change these tokens to make them more secure in these situations. A CSRF attack could be made more complicated or impossible if the end user is forced to update their CSRF token before they are used.

I created a VPS on LunaNode with BTCPayServer using this tutorial: https://medium.com/@BtcpayServer/launch-btcpay-server-via-web-interface-and-deploy-full-bitcoin-node-lnd-in-less-than-a-minute-dc8bc6f06a3
I think I figured out how to configure it to host multiple domains (still not 100% I did it right since the websiteserver is in “Docker” nginx container), but is it better to run it on a separate VPS? I want to add a WordPress blog. Bit worried about security since the BTCPayServer I do e-commerce. What is the best setup?
