Top five slashers and why

1. JASON VOORHEES - Friday the 13th

 i’ve been accused of being Pamela kin because of how much I love this boy. (I mean, I also cosplay and rp Pam too, so that could be why, but anyways.) He just really pulls at my heartstrings. The first Jason movie I ever actually saw was Freddy vs Jason and out of any of the movies that really shows like how. fucking tragic his death is (although it was a bit of a change from earlier canon, where Jason went out on his own rather than being chased by bullies.)

Jason Voorhees has done nothing wrong in his life, ever. He’s just trying to avenge his mom and make sure the same thing doesn’t happen to some other kid. Also I’ve almost drowned once because the lifeguard either wasn’t paying attention or couldn’t actually recognize the signs of drowning SO THAT’S KIND OF RELATEABLE TOO. He’s just. not scary to me, I just want him to know his momma’s proud of him. And that he’s handsome and has a nice ass and cheekbones.

2. PAMELA VOORHEES - Friday the 13th

If the previous couple of paragraphs didn’t make it clear enough, I’m pretty damn obsessed with Pam. She was assaulted at age 15, gave birth to a disabled child at age 16, probably kicked out of her home at the time because it was the fuckin 40′s and people treated unwed teenage mothers like SHIT, and raised her baby by herself, killed her abusive husband, suffers through mental illness alone and untreated and then, NOT MUCH OLDER THAN I AM, her son disappears at a lake when people you trusted were supposed to be watching him. His body is never recovered. Your whole fucking world is gone and nobody will do anything to help you because of how he looked. 

I would absolutely do the same thing in her shoes (which….probably says a little something about me, but that’s beside the point.) She just wanted to stop them from opening the fucking camp so another mother doesn’t have to endure knowing that their baby is at the bottom of the lake. 

I never knew that the original killer of the Friday franchise wasn’t Jason–so when I first played it I was absolutely fucking ecstatic that slasher that started off this franchise, and inspired so many other movies, was a woman, and a mother, just trying to find justice and peace. I never thought I’d live long enough to grow old, but now I’m highkey looking forward to my 50′s when I can pull off her cosplay much more accurately. 

3. BUBBA SAWYER - Texas Chainsaw Massacre 

hhhh big man handsome. He’s so fucking sweet tho??? He does what he does because if he doesn’t, Drayton’s gonna yell at him and hit him and things get worse. He’s scared. HE FLINCHES WHEN SALLY FUCKING YELLS AT HIM. He’s a baby??? A horny baby. TCM 2 is my favorite horror movie. He has amazing body language and the sounds he makes are fantastic. And as a seamster I just am fucking all over in love with the set design and costume design in the TCM movies, and I just think it’s great that he makes his own damn masks and has a room full of bones because fuck man, me too??? (I mean I only have a bucket full of bones that are supposed to be whitening atm but. I wish to make more things out of bones in the future.)

4. SADIE CUNNINGHAM & MCKAYLA HOOPER - Tragedy Girls

I feel like it’d be cheating to put them separately, but Tragedy Girls is also legit one of my favorite horror movies. Also? Big Bi Energy. I like that they’re like, highkey prep goth. FUcking. teenage girls, capturing a slasher and planning their own murder sprees??? I’m probably going to get weird looks for this, but they’re the exact kind of friendship that I wished I had when I was a kid. That sort of impenetrable bond is like, dare I say, OTP. I wish I had this movie when I was younger. They’re killer queens, Heathers eat your FUCKING hearts out. 

5. MOTHERFACE- Dude Bro Party Massacre III

I know she’s like, a joke slasher, but she’s honestly so great. Like, this movie is probably the funniest fucking movie I’ve ever seen and I want all of you to watch it immediately (preferably with friends), so I don’t want to spoil too much, but I’ve seen a lot of people want a vigilante slasher who goes after shitty men AND HELLO, THAT IS HER, MOTHERFACE. Her design is both grotesque and sexy in a way that I don’t hate, I think it’s fantastic. I relate to her because I too, am full of shitty one-liners and eventually run out of steam thinking of them.

6. TIFFANY VALENTINE - Bride of Chucky

Last movie: “i will buy you“ (1956) (japanese title: anata kaimasu) ! tania and i do a weekly classic movie night that’s been in this era of japanese cinema for so long lol bc we got really caught up in it but ! this is a movie about like, the back rooms of professional sports? specifically baseball. the premise is theres this great player in college ball, and our main char is a recruiter trying to get him onto his team. it builds tension really well - w/in like 10 min i was so invested in this baseball players future lol - and you can see all the pressures on the player betw recruiters, coach, family, gf, all pushing him in different directions to the point where hes kind of a piece everyones moving on the board more than a like Agent.

genuinely so tense (down to the finish we were like yelling at him to join the toyo flowers) and kind of a cool take on a sports movie where its all in like back rooms and negotiations and barely on the field at all !!!

🏳️‍🌈 - ok for howls, Everyone Is Bi/Pan, howl is trans and autistic and i will die on that hill, fr treasure planet jim and cpt amelia are both trans and both of them + doppler are autistic, fr loz link is trans, autistic and semi nonverbal and communicates primarily with asl, post twilight princess zelda says fuck it and finds a way back into the twilight realm and she midna and link hang out, most of these boil down to everyone i love is trans gay and autistic because i say so lmaooo

📃 - OK SO. without like, spoiling too many plot points, our main character is cara and she lives with her grandmother. her mom is dead and dad is out of the picture. one day theyre getting chased by these people that her grandma knows and cara gets thrown into an alternate realm full of fantasy creatures using her grandmothers amulet. she meets a unicorn named lightfoot and a bunch of other rad people and basically, starts a journey to save that world from the Hunters. the Hunters are an organisation who specifically hate unicorns and want them all dead, led by Beloved, and cara and her friends have to try and stop them from entering the world and wiping them out. its sooo so so good and i highly recommend it cause i have no one to talk to about it please god

✨ - oh boy uh, well. im just gonna like list them out lmao

unicorn chronicles: i loved unicorns as a kid and read it when i was in elementary school, and over the years its remained just as compelling and well written as i remember and like. god the whole concept is so godamn cool and all the subplots that get introduced are fuckign fantastic and like all the different creatures are amazing i literally cant sing its praises enough

howls moving castle: must i have a logical reason? is it not to vicariously live my fantasy of running away to the countryside with a wizard boyfriend, his demon and his apprentice?? for real though, its such a fantastic story with beautiful visuals in the movie and wonderfully compelling prose in the book, and esp in the movie the whole time travel subplot with sophie seeing howl and calcifer in the past and then howl finding her in the future makes me go feral

penumbra: gays in space. need i say more? im a huge slut for gay found family and especially in futuristic space, and im a huge big fan of the lgbt utopia its created. like yeah capitalism sucks but at least im not gonne get misgendered in space starbucks, u kno? all the writing and dialogue is so incredible and the SOUND DESIGN GOD, alex i know u specifically can relate when i say i would kill a man for sophie and her incredible sound design skills, like dude the dance scene in man in glass p2 you can hear every single individual step they take and every swish of junos dress and i jusT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! god its so good, plus the whole the characters help me work through my trauma and repressed anger haha

911: this one is entirely your fault. so obligatory horny on main everyone on that show is so hot i want oliver stark to cradle me gently in his beefy arms oh my god. other than Men, the way it drives home the whole ‘you can’t save everyone, and it will kill you to try, so just focus on what you can do and keep living’ makes me so emo. the way it tackles big bureaucratic issues as well as closer to home interpersonal ones is amazing and i love how it shows people going through and dealing realistically with trauma.

treasure planet: again, who doesnt want to live in Cool Steampunk Space Travel Future? i really really love jims story and his arc, the way he deals with his trauma is uhh very familiar lol and his relationship with silver is like the ideal. the story is just the coolest concept and i love all the wonderful character design and animation, plus the soundtrack SLAPS and everything is beautiful

legend of zelda: ive been associated with this series from a very young age due to my name and as soon as i gave into my fate and looked it up for real i just kinda fell into it lol. i cant really tell you exactly what draws me to it besides ‘wow fun game!’ and ‘god i wish that were me,’ but like the absurd amount of detail thats put into each installment and the creative ways they retell essentially the same/similar story over and over is incredible

guardians of gahoole: so i had the same experience with this and treasure planet which is i remembered ‘oh hey this is a movie that exists and i cant clearly remember watching it, ill look it up :)’ and then it consumed my life for a solid 3 months. firstly this movie is absolutely gorgeous, the animation and framing is fucking stunning and the way they handled owls talking like people as far as the movement of their very inflexible beaks was amazing. it sort of has the same draw for me as warrior cats? secret animal society ft incredibly traumatic experiences and the characters dealing with it. like, the whole concept is just so fuckign wild and it works so well, i rly enjoy this niche genre.

💎 - alright trivia time, so guardians of gahoole is based on a book series and the movie only covers part of the first arc i think idk, BUT theres another series set in the same universe called wolves of the beyond that i devoured when i was younger! i didnt know they were connected for the longest time and when i found out i was :000, i still rly love wolves of the beyond and wanna reread it, as well as read the actual gahoole books. in the howls books, sophie is a redhead! also, markl is named michael and like a fully functioning young adult who ends up marrying one of sophies sisters. treasure planet is, obviously, based off treasure island but its so much better than the book dont bother reading it lol i tried and it was boring. there was plans for a treasure planet sequel that was fully scripted and cast but it was cancelled cause disney sabotaged treasure planet from the start with the shitty release and advertising and tldr we were ROBBED, also amelias concept was much more octopus like and while that wldve been rad im p glad she was switched to a cat for. several reasons lol. uhh i dont have a lot of Fun Facts abt the unicorn chronicles but for the longest time i thought there were only 3 books and then last year i found the fourth book by chance in a kitsch store and nearly had a breakdown i was so happy, like full on i started shaking and crying cause there was so much joy in my body i cldnt contain it.

I know I’ve already joked about the arwen = luthien + arwen = elrond thing and gotten a ton of appreciative notes on that one post, but this amuses me EVERY TIME.

Idk enough about uh, medieval? or smth? feast culture to know if the canopy is something significant or not. Anyway I like how this is specifically singled out as a high day and a feast, not a regular dinner.

Young she was and yet not so. The braids of her dark hair weretouched by no frost, her white arms and clear face were flawless and smooth, andthe light of stars was in her bright eyes, grey as a cloudless night; 

Sometimes I wish Tolkien wasn’t so hopelessly soft-hetero – we NEVER get this kind of sigh-worthy description of male characters, even the super elaborate descriptions of men’s good looks has an intractably un-gay (not no homo) vibe

I really like and appreciate again the focus on the eyes – the descriptions of arwen and elrond’s eyes – grey as a clear evening/night, with a light of stars in them – contrasts very sharply with the description of glorfindel’s (”bright and keen”) and gandalf’s (”under great snowy brows his dark eyes were set like coals that could leap suddenly into fire”), and was definitely not a trivial detail. I also really love how observant frodo is. ofc his impressions were probably consolidated by additional later interaction, but still.

again i really like how this sharply contrasts as well as compares with elrond (”was written the memory of many things both glad and sorrowful”) and glorfindel (”young and fearless”). Arwen is very different from them both, in different ways.

Tolkien does the texture and flavor of images so well with words….ALSO….I had a crush long before i ever saw either an illustration or the movies, neither of which compare, or knew i was remotely bi, so.

So it was that Frodo saw her whom few mortals had yet seen; Arwen, daughterof Elrond, in whom it was said that the likeness of Lúthien had come onearth again; and she was called Undómiel, for she was the Evenstar of herpeople. Long she had been in the land of her mother’s kin, in Lórienbeyond the mountains, and was but lately returned to Rivendell to her father’shouse.

This “her whom few mortals had yet seen” combines SO fascinatingly with the repeated emphasis of her association with (preference for?) lothlorien as being as central to her character as her luthien and peredhil heritage; the fact that “Arwen” breaks from the El- scheme of all the rest of her family related by blood to her father’s side (not to mention is literally just another form of galadriel’s father-name “Artanis”), and with lines betraying a wildly different opinion of the dunedain and level of familiarity with human death than her father and presumably her brothers (”not till now did I understand the story of [the numenoreans] and their fall, as wicked fools i scorned them, but now i pity them at last”).

(I’m also like 100% sure this, plus the lothlorien thing, is what elrond meant about her regarding aragorn (”Lady of Imladris and of Lórien, Evenstar of her people, she is of lineage greater than yours, and she has lived in the world already so long that to her you are but as a yearling shoot beside a young birch of many summers. She is too far above you. And so, I think, it may well seem to her”), as far as he wasn’t wildly bullshitting an excuse (imo not very far :p) but that’s more conjecture.)

BUT STILL the Undomiel/Evenstar of her people is SOOOOO linguistically delightful

 But her brothers, Elladan and Elrohir, were out upon errantry: for theyrode often far afield with the Rangers of the North, forgetting never theirmother’s torment in the dens of the orcs.

LMAO THANKS JIRT. WHAT’S MOMS. WHO’S FEMALE CHARACTER. uh anyway. this kind of random “btw also this horrible thing in the middle of this dreamy passage” is i THINK a patented recurring tolkien Thing. i can’t actually recall other examples at this moment in lotr rather than the silm, but it’s good. Um, anyway. I REALLY like this immediate sharp contrast between arwen and her brothers’ relationship with the dunedain rangers, see above. And the very strong and memorable hint about Elladan and Elrohir’s characters in such a brief phrase. A+ job.

One of my less divergent gripes about Celebrian here is that imo the very affecting foreshadowing/parallel to Frodo is woefully minimized, even though LOTR, especially the pre-fellowship-formation section, is absolutely loaded with foreshadowing of Frodo’s arc and fate.

FRODO/ARWEN IS A GOOD SHIP I WON’T HEAR ANYTHING AGAINST IT. no really like, the few brief interactions, observations, and exchanged glances of Knowing that are exchanged between Frodo and Arwen are imo some of the most piercing and memorable and affecting passages in the books.

how do u feel about genderbending?

short answer: I generally don’t mind

longer answer with more explanation:

hmm… well, honestly, it depends! and I know there are very mixed opinions on this subject, especially when it comes to “gender-bending” trans individuals (which is another conversation in itself, which yall can ask me about separately if u rlly wanna kno my opinion on it), so I try to look at it from both and all sides. it’s not a very black-and-white thing, just like pretty much anything that deals with gender lol 

really, I prefer the term “cis-swap” rather than “gender-bend” mostly bcuz gender…. is very ambiguous. Gender, unlike sex, is a social construction (and you can look all of this info up or ask any sociologist or psychologist to confirm that I’m not just pulling this stuff outta my ass). Sex is a biological concept, based on genitalia (and/or chromosomes); it’s often very black-and-white (with a few exceptions, such as intersex individuals), unlike the concept of gender. Gender is basically the traits we use in society to identify what is deemed “masculine” and what is deemed “feminine” (i.e. in American society, the color pink is deemed “feminine” whereas blue is “masculine” even tho they’re literally just colors; or how skirts, dresses, and heels are “feminine” clothing items, and suits are often deemed as “masculine” attire, or sometimes androgynous/gender-neutral). 

and, with the term “gender-bending”, that’s insinuating that you can take a gender fluid, agender, or nonbinary individual/character and somehow recreate them as an “opposite” of their initial gender identity (if that makes sense- sorry if the wording is a lil weird).

I don’t mind when ppl use the term “gender-bending” bcuz I get what they mean when they use it, but I just use “cis-swap” as to not overcomplicate things adjfhskhs (or maybe I’m the one that just overcomplicated things orz). 

but anyway, I think that there’s really only two things that bother me when it comes to the general populace’s take on “gender-bending”:

1. Ok, well firstly… “Gender-bending” one damn character in an entire franchise just to put them into a heterosexual relationship with another character… it’s very lame. I don’t feel offended by it or anything, but every time I see it I’m just like “…… weak…”. That’s not to say that the characters may-or-may-not-be headcanoned as a different sexuality (maybe bi or pan or smthin), but 9.999 times out of 10, when a person “gender-bends” ONE character to pair them with another character into a heterosexual relationship…. it’s often to make them hetero. And just to clarify, since I know (I just goddamn know) someone on this hellsite will take this the wrong way and NO. I am NOT saying heterosexuality is BAD. dear christ hop of my dick, I saw those gears whirring in ur brain, readin’ into shit. It’s Not That Deep.

2. Oftentimes when someone takes a male character and turns them into a female, you could’ve started off with the most muscular, steel-eyed, roughened, toughened male character….. and his female counterpart is often amounted to some lameass little dainty girl with giant gravity-defying tits, and big, sparkling moe eyes. @ all y'all artists that do that shit: you are WEAK. When you make a “gender-bent” character, you shouldn’t be changing the ENTIRE goddamn character, personality and distinct physical traits and all. Girls come in all different shapes and sizes (that includes their muscle mass and boobs, dumbasses). Same with guys!! ok so. i have seen part of it & when i talk to ppl abt it i honestly think it feels like. rly good terrible tv lol. i felt like the pacing was terrible bc its so slow & everyone is awful to ea other & like i get 100% that women should be able to fill any space possible but idk it just like. the episodes ive seen (im halfway through) havent been at all enjoyable to me, even tho i love naomi watts. i feel like theyre trying to do w psychology what house of cards s1 did w politics in a creative sense & i think a) thats hard af to live up to; b) claire underwood is arguably one of the best antiheroes ever; c) psychology isnt as compelling or fucked up as american politics (thank god). so yah i mean. i just couldnt rly get into it? 

the big thing (other than the fact that it doesnt hit its mark w pacing) is that like. im v v wary of the sort of ‘revenge sexuality’ & these related obsessions that drive jean. i get that there are antiheroes but making queerness a specific antiheroic trait is like. i just rly rly dislike it, whether they meant for it to come across that way or not. personally i think queer ppl are already seen this way too often, esp bi ppl, so to kind of be like ‘well its ok if we show it like this bc its exploring psychopathy for Entertainment’ is just like. blegh i rly rly disliked that aspect

ALSO i think that so much good, female-led tv has dropped recently (handmaids tale, the bold type, wynonna earp; degrassi: next class, even) that its a rly bad time to put out a show that doesnt hit every mark, bc theres rly no room for beautifully shot, less-than-compelling characters, bc there are beautifully shot, incredibly compelling characters (w better pacing & storylines) out there. for me, especially this summer, its not enough to just have queer women in tv, but u have to make them like. heroes. in whatever way that means—waverly is brave as hell in this funny campy scifi world; ofglen/elizabeth in handmaids tale is arguably the person that rly starts ofred/june’s push toward active resistance + moira is just fucking incredible; kat from the bold type is literally who i want to be when i grow up; even on degrassi they go into islam & sexuality w rasha & found family w zoe & they have a nonbinary character etc. & its that not queer women shouldnt be antiheroes, bc queer women should get to be everything. its just that i felt like jean’s queerness is used as a shitty psychopathic plot device, & idk. theres just much better female-driven tv w queer leads out there rn that portrays sexuality in a much better &, for the time being, more important light, w actors that have amazing chemisty

HELLO HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS 

FIRST THINGS FIRST none of my children are straight.  none of them.  maia dates mainly dudes?  still bi.  finn dates mostly girls?  still bi.  and stella is a giant lesbian.  the tabloids go crazy whenever they step out with a same-gender presenting partner, conservative rags say a lot of shit about them never having a chance considering their mothers; stella gets more attention bc she’s the only kiddo that ever publicly addresses it, yells im a fucking lesbian when some paps ask her abt her rumored romance with the son of her mother’s biggest rival

also idk how to structure this so i’ll just run through like???  their endgame matches i guess??  but hmu abt further dating shenanigans if u would like

so finn!!  dates a lot actually, like all through high school and college, he’s a lil bit of a social butterfly which for him also means he’s a lil bit of a serial dater???  but in like.  the Nicest, most Respectful way u kno??  like with the speed at which he goes through partners when he’s younger, ppl could easily be getting hurt feelings, but he’s like.  too kind for that.  cares too much.  he’s the only one of the kiddos to successfully be friends with every single one of his exes, though sometimes it took a little time (time he was always willing to give, like he cares so much for ppl) 

one of finn’s exes actually introduces finn to the woman that becomes his wife!!  she’s a brand new neonatology fellow at the same hospital finn’s a trauma nurse at and he and his ex are getting coffee and ian is like hey!  my sister’s old roommate just joined ur nicu!  and finn’s like hey!  i can show her all the Good coffee places!

and the minute finn sees her.  goddamn, the boy is sunk.  nasrin is nearly as tall as him, has this round, kind face, is open with her feelings and just has this steady, calm aura that is so naturally in sync with finn’s, like they get on so well together, like they just sort of fit??  

when he tells her about the alien thing, she just blinks once, sort of tilts her head and is like um.  was i not supposed to already know?  like this girl is a damn good doctor, and in national city that means you have a basic understanding of xenobiology bc you never rlly know who is going to need medical care??  like she’s had her suspicions for a while, takes it in stride, jokes about them both being aliens (he’s an Alien, her parents came over from iran when she was a baby; finn rolls his eyes but cant help but laugh along with her bc she thinks its the funniest thing)

maia doesnt date too much??  not after Shitty Ex, not until later in college rlly.  like she’ll date, but she kind of shies away from Relationships??  she has one major one towards the end of college, but she panicked when it got Serious and bailed

that said, she met this one dude her freshmen year of college when her sorority sister was like MEET THIS KID FROM THE FRAT ACROSS THE STREET FROM US and maia’s rolling her eyes, expecting this dude to hit on her, but he doesnt???  and he makes these rlly nerdy jokes and notices the way maia tenses a little when he leans over to grab his drink off the coffee table, so he makes sure to scoot a little over, subtly give her a little more space

and they dont ever rlly see each other on campus, but theyre at all the same parties, sort of unofficially become party friends, where they each nurse a beer and trade nerdy stories and geek jokes on a couch in the corner, laugh when the asshole from alpha gets decked by the tiny girl from theta and starts crying

and of course charlie is in o chem with maia in sophomore year, and of course they wind up as lab partners.  slowly they become best friends, slowly they get closer and closer and maia’s pretty sure she has feelings for him, but nah, right?  and he definitely doesnt have feelings for her

spoiler alert: he does

it takes them a While to get together, but god, when they do??  charlie is like the perfect balance to maia, cool headed where she is decidedly not, logical where she’s likely to be rash and they’re so well matched????  like stella takes one look at this boy and says loudly that he actually might be good enough for her sister

and stella!!!  stella dates a little bit in high school but her relationships never really last v long??  and she’s never sure why, like its like she’ll have feelings for the guy and then one day she’ll wake up and they’ll be gone and then she figures it out that her feelings are more reflections of what the other person is feeling??  and then she figures out that the only time her feelings didnt just disappear were when they were for girls, figures out that she’s a Giant Lesbian which helps a little

what doesnt help is her Giant Lesbian Crush on maia’s best friend from high school.  maia and beth have been friends for like a rlly long time and stella’s always had this lil crush on her, but then beth happens to be in town for stella’s first birthday at college and maia asks if its alright for beth to tag along and its the first time stella’s seen her since they went off to college and suddenly that little crush is a big crush

but she’s maia’s best friend right?? and is older and cooler and smarter and prettier than stella, so stella ignores her feelings bc she doesnt feel anything from beth and she dates a fair bit through college, lives her life and refuses to pine

but beth is the one that helps her when she becomes a vigilante, so theyre working in close proximity and its kind of weird but rlly nice??  like rlly nice and stella likes being around her and then one night, stella comes back from a late mission and just like.  accidentally kisses beth

and also finds out why she’s never felt anything from her, even though beth has had Feelings for her for a while.  surprise!  beth’s an alien too

it also takes a While for them to get together, a While and some Drama but that is a story for another day.  but yes, to address ur specific question, she does get her own maya in a way, bc beth’s similar to maya hart in all the important ways: the stubborn loyalty, the occasionally blinders that go up to her own feelings, the care she takes with stella.  all the big things

in response to tht gay/ace headcanon post u made: ppl do get RLY mad whn gay coded characters r hced as ace (it's often a bit excessive) but it's mainly bc gay ppl r often desexualised so if a straight person hcs a gay coded character as ace it's a bit :// (if a gay ace person does it's totally fine!)

yeah i def agree with that, desexualizing a gay character is the problem when someone heacanons the character as ace. and often those headcanons are rooted in gay/lesbian erasure, whether intentionally or unintentionally. but what people dont often realize is a character who is ace can also be lesbian/gay/bi romantically, and a character being asexual doesnt mean they are aromantic (or even heteromantic) as well. but yea straight people who hc a gay character as ace just to desexualize them is not a cool thing to do,,, lol

i am a gay ace sex repulsed(?) person myself, and i dont believe all aces are sex repulsed, some are neutral or sex positive. i see people often forget sex neutral + sex positive people exist. asexual means by definition is “a person who has no sexual feelings or desires” although its meaning does differ from person to person. but the common definition for most is having no sexual feelings towards a specific person. that doesnt mean they dont want to or want to have sex or whatever, it only means they dont expirence sexual attraction at all. 

and coming back to headcanons, a character that is headcanoned/coded/canonically ace doesnt inherently mean they are sex repulsed or desexualized, unless that was the intent. and typically, when someone headcanons a character as ace they typically mean sex repulsed asexual. headcanoning a gay character as a sex repulsed asexual is typically desexualization. but thats only when a straight person does it. 

gay aces do exist, and i myself am proof, so if i was a fictional character would people get mad that i was desexualized because i am ace? gee i hope not. 

this subject is pretty touchy, and thanks for being respectful. i just hope people kinda come to their senses and try to be more open minded about this stuff ya kno (and straight people can just stop lol)

Sikey – My oldest and FAVORITE oc! She’s the most developed tbh. She’s married to Grey (Moe’s OC); her age depends on the artwork (because sometimes I’ll draw stuff abt her from her past or even like future au’s so yeah. Typically in the late 20s – early 30s age).

Ziker – He was actually originally Sikey’s “”genderbender”” (yikes lmao). But his personality was like 10x more different and I decided “hey u kno what. He’s his own guy”. He’s a trans boy whose two years older than Sikey, and he’s married to Grey’s brother Gery (Moe’s OC).

Carrie – Sikey + Ziker’s mom! She got out of an abusive relationship after Sikey was born (like, a year or so after. The boyfriend abandoned her + her kids) but she’s been a HELLA RAD mom. She moved from Italy when Sikey/Ziker were around 2-3 and 4-5 (trying 2 give her kids enough time to learn English as well as Italian). Never really hooked up with anyone else but in a certain verse/au monster version of carrie ends up dating alejandro’s mom, Rosita ! idk if it’s the same for human verse (which, probably is I mean. They all have human versions idk why I drew alejandro/garrett/traci and banner/Oscar/Vicky/Adelaide as their monster/anthro uehguh versions when htye have canon human designs and actually kinda take place verse??? Idk I guess its bc I introduced alejandro/garrett/traci as those designs). She’s in her 40’s-50s depending on sikey’s age

Mac – another old oc! He’s mute and really friendly and loves jokes. Mainly sex jokes. Fucking shameful boy. Age typically in late teens, like 18+

Rachel – yet another old oc! She was actually just sikey’s friend and mac’s friend but ive changed it now so that Rachel is mac’s older sister! She’s around the same age as sikey

Opal – she has vitiligo and DID. She’s nicky’s bff and she’s not exactly that developed : (….she does have cameos w/ Nicky in a few of my works such as FNJB. Like I said not much of her is developed! Idk how many alters she has but 2 of them include a nervous jittery boy in his teens, paranoid of work and shit; another is an aspiring actress and loves being dramatic for literally no reason. Stubs her toe? Flings herself onto the table and wails a monologue.

Nicky – asHFDUF I had a lot of stuff abt them but I forgot bc I never wrote it down so they’re still in rough development. They’re a few years younger than opal, and agender. They also may either have autism or OCD (or both). I do know they like to collect items such as shells and caps and shit, and they associate specific moods + feelings with said items so if they’re feeling a certain way towards someone they give them the items

Mattie – another old oc asufdshf. He’s one of the most developed and he’s a BASIC BITCH I hate him. Ugh. Fucker. He’s boyfriends w/ Moe’s oc Mako and they have like 80 kids pls chill n slow tf down

Fun fact I call these three the “Greek Squad” bc sparta’s named after an ancient Greece city, tally’s middle name is Athens, and emmelie is greek!!

Marlene – a luna moth trans girl!! Not very developed bc shes relatively new (as are poodle, Julia, bb, reese, and todd). She’s the Mom Friend of her squad and an elegant beauty
