This weekend of performing at World Championships marks the end of my last season of high school winterguard. I dont know that I will ever be able to partake in this sport again, but I do know that these past three years have forever changed me for the better as a person and as a performer. I love my team and this sport so much and both will always hold a special place in my heart.

In this moment of the performance, I was crying harder than I have in any other show that I've performed in. It was truly an honor to do it for the 85 members on that floor... the amazing and talented 36 members of Black Gold World and the 49 Pulse victims who were lost entirely too soon. Winning Fan Favorite was an honor, but even more so when it represents something so much bigger. We expected Aimachi to receive it per usual, but the many people who approached us in person to thank us and tell us their stories all did their part to also spread the word of hope. The raw emotion in that arena was unlike anything. It cannot be repeated and you will not get it from the recording. It was a moment unlike any other. Some people are upset that we received it, but that means nothing when we are still receiving messages of love and support from people all over the world, and what makes it even more amazing is when we get all the great love and praise coming from the state of Florida. Congratulations to all finalists this year and even more to the fabulous top three! Thank you again! The number one question I’ve been getting lately about #spintronixguard for the season is this: what’s the age requirement to join? This answer has three parts: 1. Anyone ages 12 and up can attend our clinics - literally anyone. 2. To join the classic SIG team you must be at least 12 and no more than 22 years of age. 3.
