Understand the idea: The hosting providers will only give you a free domain name when you purchase any of their hosting plans. Most of the hosting offers this when you buy hosting for one year or more. If you are starting now, you should check my guide on how to save money on hosting.
No cancellations/refunds: While most of the hosting companies here offer 30-60 days refund, but domain name can’t be refunded. So even if you cancel hosting, you will be paying the domain name fees which is roughly $10, and this is only in case you end up asking for refund. Since these hosting companies are tried and tested by us, most of our users are happy users of these hosting companies.
You’ll get only selected extensions: The most popular extensions you can get are .com, .net, .org, .info, and so on. So, ensure the domain extension you need is available with the offer.

Now let's give you an overall assessment about Bluehist before we go through the close review:
Who is Bluehost?
Bluehist is one of the largest and oldest hosting companies in the world as it provides hosting service and domain names. Bluehost was founded in 2003 by Matt Hutton and since then the company is considered # 1 in the hosting field. Even if you hear about competing hosting, know that all of those companies that compete with Bluehost are just a branch of Bluehost.
You should know that Bluehost is owned by the global EIG group specializing in the field of hosting, which is a giant company listed on the global stock exchange. EIG is the owner of the largest hosting companies in the world, which include:

Bluehost pros and cons:
In this paragraph, we will try to identify the pros of Lohst, as well as the dark side about this hosting that no one will share with you. In general, let us first know the pros of hosting Bluehist before we address its negative aspects.
1- Uptime for the website throughout the year is (99.96%)
You should know that Uptime is the # 1 factor in order to judge the hosting whether it is good or bad, so Uptime in summary means what is the average survival of the site operating without being disrupted, the last thing we want, whether you are a marketer or programmer is to drop your server, this may cost you Serious losses!
In global hosts, their Uptime rate is 99.93%, so we will not be satisfied with what is less than this number!
Fortunately, Bluehost's Uptime is 99.96% and thus it is superior to most web hosting in this point, and this is according to Pingdom's evaluation.
Here's a Uptime rate for Bluehost by months:
January 2021: 100%
February 2021: 100%
March 2021: 99.98%
April 2021: 99.99%
May 2021: 99.90%
June 2021: 100%
July 2021: 99.98%
August 2021: 99.99%
September 2021: 100%
Oct 2021: 99.67%
November 2021: 100%
December 2021: 99.98%
2- Site speed
According to a study conducted by Google, you noticed that the higher your site speed, the more conversions you have, and the lower your bounce rate by 32%.
In summary, if your site is slow, this means that you will lose 32% of your visitors and this may lead to great losses over time!
Just as you know that hosting speed plays an important role in the speed of your site, the more weak the hosting, the slow your site is, so we do not recommend free hosting because its disadvantages are more than its benefits!
So we did a simple experiment in order to know the speed of the Bluehost hosting, so that the results were better than expected, which reached 641 ms.
3- Price
Let's be honest, the first thing we look at when buying hosting is the price!
Therefore, it was necessary to make a comparison of Bluehost prices in order to help you to know the best possible price in order to buy Bluehost hosting and also get a free domain of your choice!
Bluehist's original price is $ 8.99 / month, but there are some tricks to get a more than good price!
The first trick: subscribe to the 3-year offer.
When you subscribe to Bluehost for 3 years, you will get a terrible discount of $ 3.99 instead of $ 8.99 a month. Also, when you subscribe for 3 years, you will forget something called the monthly payment every time!
The second trick: use discount links.
Bluehost makes an offer every period so that it makes discounts on its packages that may reach 75% and since you are one of the visitors to host the marketer, we decided to bring you one of these offers so that you can benefit from Bluehost at a price of $ 2.95 per month instead of $ 8.99, and the most beautiful of this is that you will get a domain Free of your choice!
You will tell me: How do I benefit from this reduction?
Since you are a visitor to the website hosting marketer, you can get a 75% reduction on the value of Bluehost hosting in addition to the domain for free from here . With a 30-day money-back guarantee in case you are not satisfied with the service!
Click here to get the discount
4- Protection and important features
Since Bluehost is among the cheapest hosting in the market, we are happy to say that despite this, the quality or protection that every hosting should have has not been affected.
Not only that, but Bluehost also has a partnership with Cloudflare to provide you with a cloud service for your site, whether in order to protect it from hacker attacks or to increase hosting tolerance for an unlimited number of traffic!
What is unique about BlueHest is that it is among the nominated hosts by WordPress so that Bluehist supports one-click WordPress install for WordPress that enables you to download WordPress with one click and without the need for any knowledge of programming.
5- Easy to use for beginners
We will not deny that there are better and more powerful hosting than Bluehost, but it is difficult to use and you need to be a professional in the field of programming in order to deal with it in return BlueHost has been created to be used by anyone, whether a beginner or a professional, by providing it with many features, including: One- click WordPress install, which allows you to install WordPress with the click of a button and the Bluehist Cpanel interface, which is one of the simplest interfaces that enables you to access all the tools you need!
The beautiful thing about Bluehost is that it does not require you to download WordPress on the site. Rather, it provides you with all the tools you need in order to build an integrated website, either by manual programming or by using Website builder programs such as Drupal and others.
But if you are a professional, BlueHost also provides you with your own interface so that you can change the code for the site in the way that suits you!
6- A 30-day money-back guarantee
Bluehost provides full money back service in case you are not satisfied with the service provided to you and this is good for people who want to try Bluehost service but are not sure about it.
But in order for there to be transparency, which is our duty, you should know some points about the Bluehost money-back feature:
You should know that the revision in BlueHost only supports hosting-related services and this does not include the domain that you get from them.
When you take advantage of the domain that Bluehost provides you for free and request the revision, it will return your full money to you, but it deducts $ 15 as a price for the domain because you will keep it.
You will not be able to get your money back after 30 days, so make sure to request Revend 30 days beforehand in case you are not satisfied with the Bluehist service.
7- Technical support 24/7 to solve all your technical problems
Bluehist's support is one of the best features that make every person prefer to deal with this company rather than any other company, so imagine that you have a problem with your site or your hosting and this problem has caused your site to stop working!
I wonder how many losses this site will cause you to stop working for you?
Mostly your answer will be a lot of money, so one of the most important things you should look for when buying a particular hosting is to make sure of the quality of its support!
Therefore, Blouhest decided to spend huge money on its technical support as it provides you with live chat support 24 hours / 24 hours throughout the week so that you can solve any problem you have on the site in the fastest time!
8- Convert your WordPress site for free
If you already have a website and want to convert it from your Bluehost hosting, but you are afraid of the costs of converting from one hosting to another, which may reach $ 500!
I want to give you a very happy news, which is that Bluehist supports the conversion of your site completely from any hosting to Bluest without paying any penny!
All you have to do is contact Bluehost Support from here, and they will do all the technical matters for you.
* Converting your entire site may take about 2 to 2 days maximum
Note: If you have more than one site you want to convert, this may cost you about $ 149 to convert 5 sites in this package.
9- The official WordPress site nominates Bluehost as one of the best hosts
We rarely find a WordPress site nominating a hosting, but we find that WordPress itself explains Bluehost hosting as one of the best hosting for people who want to create WordPress sites but are looking for a hosting that is 100% compatible with WordPress.
Here are some of the hosting sites that WordPress recommends if your goal in hosting is to create a WordPress site:
Bluehost
DreamHost
SiteGround
Do not forget that you can create a WordPress site on any hosting. All there is to it is that WordPress recommends these hosts as they are more compatible with them!
The downsides of Bluehost hosting and everything you need to know
After we got acquainted with the pros of this hosting, now let us know about the disadvantages of BlueHost that no one in this field will share with you!
1- High price during renewal
What distinguishes Bluehost as hosting and makes it number # 1 is its special price compared to the features it provides to you, but in return, the price of Bluehost becomes very high during its renewal after the end of your subscription. If you have paid $ 2.95 / month for 3 years, then after the end of 3 years the price will be $ 8.95 / For the month and this is an amount that some consider high!
Therefore, if you intend to subscribe to Bluehost, make sure that you subscribe to a 3-year package in order to get the maximum possible reduction and make sure that you have a background about the renewal price, whether with Bluehist or another hosting company!
And this picture shows the prices after renewal at Bluehist
2- Limitations in the Basic version
Bluehost's cheapest shared hosting plan is Basic and it comes with some severe limitations.
Blouhost intends to make you choose the version of Plus instead of Basic due to the restrictions that it puts for you in the version of Basic, among which is that you can create one website on hosting and this is disastrous as we want to put all of our sites in the same hosting so if you intend to create many sites In the same hosting, be sure to buy a copy for Plus, not for Basic, but if you only intend to create one site, you can suffice with a copy of Basic.
Recap: Do We Recommend BlueHist for You?
Of course yes, especially if you intend to build a WordPress site!
Bluehost has performed a little better in the past, but they still provide reliable service with decent server speeds.
They also offer robust security options, great money-back guarantee, loads of easy-to-use apps, and multiple levels of hosting packages suitable for different clients. Pricing starts at $ 2.75 per month with our special discount .
However, Bluehost isn't perfect. The fact that the renewal price is a bit high, and you must take it into account.
Nevertheless, Bluehost remains one of the best options for the price you will pay.
Do you want to get a discount?
Since you are a visitor to the website hosting marketer, you can get a 75% reduction on the value of Bluehost hosting in addition to the domain for free from here . With a 30-day money-back guarantee in case you are not satisfied with the service!

Did you know that Bluehost is home to more than 2 million websites?
That’s a lot.
Having such a vast customer base is enough evidence that they are doing something right. Their uptime is reliable, server speeds are good, and all of their hosting plans pack useful features for beginners and intermediate alike.
Pros of Using Bluehost Hosting
Bluehost has been around since 2003, so they have plenty of experience to know what makes a hosting service excellent.
Their introductory prices are affordable, customer support is easy to reach and helpful, and you get many useful features to go with your hosting plan. In addition, they provide reliable uptime and fast server speeds.
Let’s take a more detailed look at Bluehost’s strong points.
1. Great Uptime Through 12-Months(99.96%)
Uptime is one of the most critical aspects when choosing a web host — after all, if your site is down, your users can’t access it. So, consistent uptime should be one of your top priorities when looking at hosting services.
After reviewing over 40 web hosts, our benchmark for “good” uptime is 99.93%. So ideally, we don’t want to see anything less than that.
The good news is that Bluehost easily surpasses this benchmark, comfortably keeping our test site live for 99.96% of the time during the last 12 months (February 2020 to January 2021). The total downtime was a bit less than four hours for the whole year.
2. Fast Page Loading Speed (641 ms)
Research conducted by Google found:
“As page load time goes from 1s to 3s the probability of bounce increases 32%.”
This translates to your visitors being 32% more likely to leave your site. And it only gets worse with longer page load times.
Furthermore, Google is more geared towards mobile-first indexing. This means that your site also needs to be optimized for mobile users, or otherwise, you’re losing traffic.
Either way, a slow website almost always means less traffic and, therefore, lower sales numbers. So right after uptime, page loading time is the second most important thing that can make or break your website’s success.
Our test site with Bluehost has offered an average load speed of 641 ms over the past year. While it isn’t competing for the top positions, it isn’t bad either
3. Low Introductory Pricing ($2.75/mo)
Bluehost’s default pricing starts at $3.95/month, which is an introductory price from the regular $8.99/month rate.
However, the good news is that we’ve been able to work out a deal with Bluehost for our readers that takes the starting price down even further to $2.75/month.
For this price, you get pretty much everything you need for a single website. That includes 50 GB SSD storage, unmetered bandwidth, a free SSL certificate, and more. So you’d be getting a pretty good value for the price, plus their consistent uptime and page loading speeds.
Still, the cheapest plan does have a few restrictions that we’re not entirely happy with — but more about this later on.
4. Packed with Security Options and Features
Since Bluehost is one of the “cheapest” options on the market, we are pleased to see that they don’t cut too many corners on critical security options and features.
Already with the cheapest plan, Bluehost provides your site with a free SSL certificate. You also get access to great features like a free CDN (Cloudflare), a one-click WordPress install, multiple CMS integrations, and additional eCommerce plugins.
Higher-tier plans come with the Spam Experts add-on, domain privacy protection, and server backups. Also, you get more advanced security features such as SiteLock, which helps prevent malware attacks. Codeguard is another form of protection, which provides daily backups so you can roll back previous versions of a site, should it get hacked. Postini, from Google, is the final security tool worth noting. It provides spam protection for your email, so anything suspicious is prevented from getting into your inbox.
5. Easy to Use for Beginners
Some of the web hosts we’ve seen can be considered the best only if you’re an advanced user. But, Bluehost is great for beginners, too.
Their customer portal is intuitive and clean (although, we have experienced it is a bit slow at times). And the layout of the cPanel control panel makes Bluehost even easier to use. Beginners can easily install and start WordPress through cPanel. All you need to do is point and click in most cases.
If you don’t want to use WordPress, you can also begin creating a website with a website builder tool (such as Weebly or Drupal). You can then customize a template by just dragging and dropping elements on your page.
Bluehost also has features for advanced users who want to use their code to create their site.
6. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Bluehost offers a 30-day money-back guarantee with all of their hosting plans.
You can try out the service to see their performance for yourself and ask for a refund if you’re not completely satisfied. We have a few words of caution, though.
According to Bluehost’s terms, here’s what does and doesn’t fall under that guarantee:
You can only get refunds on the web hosting cost, not any other products like domains or other add-ons.
Bluehost would deduct $15.99 if you received a free domain name in your plan.
Bluehost does not refund any requests after 30 days.
It’s not precisely a no-questions-asked policy like we’ve seen from some hosts. So make sure you agree with these points before signing up.
7. 24/7 Customer Support
Bluehost provides 24/7 customer support over live chat, phone, and an email ticketing system. On top of that, they have a vast knowledge base packed with answers to frequent questions and useful information.
We went ahead and tested their live chat option, and the experience was pleasant.
We got answers to our questions quickly, and the representative was knowledgeable. Sure, some responses felt copy-pasted, but the follow-up questions prompted improvised and helpful answers.
8. One Free WordPress Site Transfer
If you already have a site and want to switch to Bluehost’s hosting plan, then this perk is for you.
Bluehost only recently started offering a free site transfer with all of their plans.
There are a couple of terms to this free service, though. First, the site needs to be a WordPress site. And secondly, you have to request the migration within the first 30 days after signing up with a hosting plan.
All you need to do is contact their customer support team and follow their directions. The migration usually takes around 1–3 business days to complete.
If you don’t have a WordPress website or have more than one then it costs $149.99. This gets you up to 5 website migrations and 20 email account migrations.
9. The Official WordPress.org Recommended Host
WordPress is the most widely used website platform on the market — ~47% of the entire Internet is built with WordPress.
It’s safe to say that they have an authoritative word when it comes to hosting solutions. WordPress only officially recommends three hosting partners to use with a WordPress site:
Bluehost
DreamHost
SiteGround
Of course, you can use almost any web hosting provider to create a WordPress site. But the fact that Bluehost is one of the few officially recognized partners is encouraging.

Best Cheap Web Hosting
The 7 Best Cheap Web Hosting Options to Consider:
1.     Hostinger – Best cheap web hosting for most users
2.     DreamHost – Cheapest month-to-month web hosting
3.     Bluehost – Best cheap web hosting for WordPress
4.     GreenGeeks – Best for image and video-heavy websites
5.     SiteGround – Best for users who need extra support
6.     A2 Hosting – Fastest cheap web hosting services
7.     HostGator – Best for cheap cloud and VPS hosting
When Does It Make Sense to Go With Cheap Web Hosting?
One of our favorite WordPress web hosting providers is WPEngine. It’s fast, reliable, and you get a ton of other perks (like a 100% hands-off white-glove hosting experience).
The catch? It’s $30+ per month on the cheapest plan. Ouch.
When your website is new, you don’t need all those fancy add-ons or fully-managed hosting services. They’re absolutely overkill for new websites.
Instead, you need cheap web hosting that’ll get you up and running as fast as possible without breaking the bank.
Which… is why cheap shared hosting exists. It’s an affordable option for small or new websites with little traffic and a limited number of files, images, and pages.
The good news is that you can start with one of these cheap hosting options and upgrade to better services when you start to see a decline in site performance and can justify the added expense.
The bottom line: if you’re just getting started, cheap web hosting is perfectly fine. We actually highly recommend it. But, don’t forget to think about where you want to be in five years and choose a hosting provider that can scale alongside you.
#1 – Hostinger — Best Cheap Web Hosting for Most Users
 Hostinger
Best for Most Users
On a shoestring budget? Get everything you need for your new website, including an SSL certificate, 10 GB of storage space, 100 GB of bandwidth, one email account, and 24/7 customer support, for just $0.99 per month.
If you’re looking for the best long-term pricing and an excellent overall introductory plan, Hostinger’s Single Shared Hosting is our top recommendation. With it, you get everything you need to launch your new website (without breaking the bank).
With most options on this list, you have to pay close to $100 or more upfront. But with Hostinger, you only have to pay $47.52 for four years of hosting services.
But the best part is that even after your initial contract term, monthly prices renew at $2.99 per month. Which is still significantly cheaper than all of the other options listed here.
So, for less than the cost of a cup of decent coffee, you get:
·         One website
·         One email
·         100 GB of bandwidth
·         10 GB of SSD storage
·         Free SSL certificate
·         One-click WordPress installation
·         24/7 customer support
·         99.9% uptime
However, the plan doesn’t come with a domain name, so you’ll need to buy one separately. You can do so through Hostinger or one of our top domain registrar recommendations.
Most domain names are $8 to $12 per year. The cost is readily justifiable since you’re getting such a great deal on hosting.
Alternatively, you can upgrade to Hostinger’s Premium Shared Hosting package ($1.99 per month), including a free domain name for the first year. With this plan, you also get 100 email accounts, 20 GB of storage, and unlimited bandwidth.
The Premium plan is also a great option if you run out of storage space or hit your monthly bandwidth cap on the Single plan.
As such, Hostinger can scale alongside your website as it grows, delivering more resources and improving your site’s performance along the way for just a few dollars more per month.
Regardless of the plan you choose, you get 24/7/365 live chat support to help you if anything goes wrong, you need help choosing a plan, or you’re confused about anything as you get started. In our experience, the support team is friendly, speedy, and extremely knowledgeable.
Hostinger’s our top recommendation because it offers affordable long-term pricing, scalable website performance, high server uptimes, and around-the-clock support.
#2 – DreamHost — The Cheapest Month-to-Month Web Hosting
 DreamHost
Cheapest Month-to-Month Plans
Worried about making a long-term commitment? DreamHost has your back with the most affordable month-to-month payment options on the market. Paid plans start at just $4.95 per month for one website with unlimited traffic and no contract required. All plans come with a free SSL certificate and WordPress pre-installed.
If you don’t want to commit to several years in advance, DreamHost offers the cheapest month-to-month pricing on the market at $4.95 per month.
There are no long-term contracts, no commitments, and no other unexpected fees.
But don’t let its cheap monthly price tag fool you—you don’t have to sacrifice features, functionality, or website performance for affordable month-to-month pricing.
DreamHost’s Shared Starter plan comes with everything you need, including one website, 50 GB of SSD storage space, and unmetered bandwidth.
The Starter plan also includes:
·         WordPress pre-installed, so you don’t have to worry about installing it
·         Free WordPress migrations if you’re switching from a different host
·         Free domain name privacy (most charge extra for this)
·         A drag-and-drop WordPress website builder
·         Live chat, ticket, and phone support
·         A free SSL certificate
·         100% uptime guarantee
However, as with all great things, there are a few limitations.
DreamHost’s introductory month-to-month plan doesn’t come with a free domain name or any email accounts. Other providers listed here do include these, so it’s an important consideration to think about.
A domain name will cost you $6.99 if you buy through DreamHost.
You can also opt for a one-year or three-year plan (they come with a free domain) or buy one through one of our top domain registrar recommendations.
You can add an email account for $1.67 per account per month, making your total cost $6.26 per month.
Alternatively, you can upgrade to DreamHost’s Shared Unlimited plan at $8.95 per month, which includes unlimited email accounts and unlimited site storage.
The best part about DreamHost is that you can stick with month-to-month pricing as long as you’d like and switch to a one or three-year agreement to lower your monthly hosting costs whenever you’re ready to commit.
One-year plans start at $3.95 per month, and three-year plans start at $2.59 per month for the Shared Starter package. Sign up for DreamHost’s no-contract hosting for $4.95 per month today!
#3 – Bluehost — Best Cheap Web Hosting for WordPress
 Bluehost
Best for WordPress
Bluehost is one of only three hosting providers recommended by WordPress. Every plan comes with 24/7 customer support, one-click WordPress installation, automatic WordPress updates, unmetered bandwidth, a free CDN, and a free domain for the first year for just $2.95 per month (that's 63% off!). Try it risk-free for up to 30 days today!
WordPress is the most popular content management system (CMS) globally, powering over a third of the entire internet.
So, choosing to use WordPress is a smart choice—it’s also what we use here at Crazy Egg.
WordPress itself has three recommended hosting platforms, with Bluehost being the most popular. It offers a great starting point for beginners, but it also has advanced, fully-managed WordPress hosting plans when you’re ready to take your WordPress site to the next level.
As such, it checks all our boxes for website performance and scalability. However, Bluehost’s WordPress Basic plan is our top cheap WordPress hosting recommendation.
It starts at $2.95 per month (with a three-year contract) and includes:
·         One website
·         50 GB of SSD storage space
·         A free domain for the first year—most charge extra for this!
·         A free content delivery network (CDN)
·         Free SSL certificate
On top of that, you also get automatic WordPress installation, so you don’t have to worry about the technical side of installing it yourself. And you can rest easy knowing you’re getting the most up-to-date version, regardless of when you sign up.
All Bluehost plans come with automatic core and plugin updates, resulting in a more secure website with fewer vulnerabilities.
But the best part is that you don’t have to spend time checking for updates, installing them, or maintaining your account. Bluehost takes care of everything WordPress-related for you so you can focus on launching, creating content, and running your website.
If you’ve never used WordPress before, it can be a bit of an uphill climb to learn.
However, Bluehost helps ease the learning curve by delivering 24/7/365 WordPress expert support for getting started, designing your website, and other questions you may have along the way.
Bluehost promotional pricing starts at $2.95 per month. However, you have to sign up for three years in advance to unlock this price.
And after your initial contract term, the price increases to $8.99 per month.
Whether you want to start a blog, an ecommerce store, a business website, or anything in between, WordPress powered by Bluehost has you covered. Get started with Bluehost for $2.95 per month today!
#4 – GreenGeeks — The Best Cheap Web Hosting for Image and Video-Heavy Websites
 GreenGeeks
Best for Content-Heavy Sites
GreenGeeks is the only provider on our list that includes unlimited storage space and a 300% green energy match on its introductory plans, making it a perfect match for websites with a lot of images, videos, and content. Paid plans start at just $2.49 per month.
GreenGeeks is a cheap web hosting provider you may not have heard of. But with over 40,000 happy customers around the world, they’re not new—nor unproven—by any means.
We love GreenGeeks because it’s the only provider that provides unlimited storage space, even on the cheapest introductory plan.
As such, it’s an excellent choice for content, image, and video-heavy websites.
Whether you run a blog, create hundreds of video product reviews, or want to display your high-resolution photographs in all their glory, you don’t have to worry about hitting storage limits with large files.
With that said, GreenGeeks does have an excessive resource user policy that states every website on its shared hosting plans may not use more disk space or bandwidth than is required for the regular operation of a website.
They don’t explicitly state what that “limit” is, but most users shouldn’t have issues with this, as long as you’re not using storage space for the sole purpose of archiving or storing large files.
Besides unlimited storage space, it’s also one of the most feature-rich entry-level plans we’ve seen on the market. For just $2.49 per month, you get:
·         A free domain name
·         Unlimited email accounts
·         Nightly backups
·         A complimentary SSL certificate
·         A free content delivery network (CDN)
·         Zero-day vulnerability fixes
·         One-click WordPress installation
·         24/7/365 live chat, phone, and ticket support
But keep in mind that you have to sign up for three years in advance to get the best prices. After your promotional period, your monthly rate jumps up to $10.95 per month.
On top of those features, GreekGeeks is the only cheap hosting provider with a 300% green energy matching program, making your website 3x greener than those hosted on other platforms. In case you’re wondering why green hosting is a thing…
Data centers (the things that power the internet) account for 2% of the world’s carbon emissions, equal to that of the aircraft industry.
And that number is expected to grow to 14% by 2040.
In response to this, GreenGeeks offsets carbon emissions put off by their services by 300%. So they’re leaving the world 3x better than they found it. Get started with GreenGeeks for $2.49 per month today!
#5 – SiteGround — The Best for Users Who Need Extra Support
 SiteGround
Best Customer Service
Never built a website before? Get everything you need to launch your website plus world-class customer support along the way in one affordably priced hosting package with SiteGround. With their award-winning support, you’ll never have to worry about navigating technical mishaps or building your site alone. Paid plans start at $6.99 per month.
If you’ve never built a website before or aren’t comfortable navigating the technical side of building a website, SiteGround is your best bet.
When you sign up, you get all the essential features you need to launch your new website, plus an entire team of dedicated experts ready to help you along the way.
SiteGround’s support team is top-rated, and the company’s known for having the happiest customers in the industry. The hosting provider’s most recent annual customer survey found that to be true, as SiteGround received a 97.7% customer satisfaction rate.
So, you can rest easy knowing you’re in good hands if you need help, run into an issue, accidentally break your website, or are unsure of anything throughout the process.
In our experience, they’re very fast, friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping you get your website launched with as little frustration as possible. SiteGround offers customers a free site migration via its WP Migrator and also provides a professional migration service for $30 per site if you need to move several sites.
But SiteGround is also there to help once your website is up and running, as well.
Want to change something but not sure how to do it? No problem.
You can easily browse the SiteGround knowledgebase full of tutorials and how-to guides, hop on the phone, start a live chat, or create a helpdesk ticket.
With a 15-minute average response time and 90% issue resolution on the first contact, you can resolve issues in record time and get back to running your business.
Aside from support, you also get a ton of benefits and features on the cheapest plan, including:
·         10 GB of storage space (plenty for new websites)
·         Daily backups in case something happens to your site
·         Unlimited email accounts
·         A free content delivery network (CDN)
·         Automatic core and plugin WordPress updates
·         A complimentary SSL certificate
·         100% renewable energy match
The introductory plan starts at $6.99 per month with a one-year contract. After that, your plan renews at $14.99 per month, making it the most expensive shared hosting plan on our list. But it’s well worth the added cost if you need additional support and would rather consult the professionals than spend time troubleshooting issues on your own.
If you’re looking for a feature-rich hosting plan, extra peace of mind, and a reliable customer support team you can get in touch with at any time, SiteGround has you covered. Get started with SiteGround for $6.99 per month today!
#6 – A2 Hosting — The Fastest Cheap Web Hosting Provider
 A2 Hosting
Fastest Cheap Web Hosting
Looking for the fastest hosting provider that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg? A2 Hosting’s shared hosting plans offer various speed-boosting features like turbo servers (on the turbo plan), solid-state drive storage, high storage limits, and a complimentary content delivery network. Paid plans start at just $2.99 per month on the introductory plan!
47% of web users expect your website to load in less than two seconds. And 40% of people will hit the back button if it takes longer than three seconds to load.
Improving your site speed is essential, and your hosting provider plays a role in how fast your site loads. As such, if you’re looking for the fastest cheap web hosting service, A2 Hosting is our top recommendation.
You can get started on their most affordable plan for $2.99 per month—as long as you sign up for three years in advance. After that, your plan renews at $8.99 per month. It comes with:
·         Unlimited email accounts
·         Phone, live chat, and email support
·         A free SSL certificate
·         99.9% uptime guarantee
·         A built-in website builder
However, one of A2’s standout introductory features is a whopping 100 GB of SSD storage.
Most new websites will only use a small percentage of that, meaning you get faster load times since you’re not using up a lot of space. Just like with your computer or phone, the closer you get to maxing out your allotted storage space, the worse your device performs.
This is true for your website as well.
And the solid-state drive provides an additional speed boost compared to traditional hard drives since they can access stored memory (almost) instantaneously.
The cheapest plan also comes with a free Cloudflare content delivery network (CDN). It helps improve site speeds and performance by caching the content on your site. Essentially, the CDN stores and displays a snapshot of your website, rather than loading it from scratch.
You can further improve site performance by upgrading to the Drive plan at $4.99 per month. It includes unlimited storage space and twice as many server resources at your disposal.
However, the most significant speed boost happens on A2 Hosting’s Turbo Boost plan, which starts at $9.99 per month. With it, you get an advanced version of a solid-state drive for storage, a turbo boost server that’s up to 20x faster, and a slew of other speed-boosting features.
Regardless of the plan you choose, A2 offers an anytime money-back guarantee if you’re unhappy with your site’s performance for any reason. Get started for $2.99 per month today!
#7 – HostGator — The Best Cheap Cloud & VPS Web Hosting
 HostGator
Best Cheap Cloud & VPS Hosting
Frustrated with your website’s performance on shared hosting? HostGator offers an affordable way to upgrade to cloud or VPS hosting with some of the lowest prices we’ve seen. Upgrade your performance with cloud hosting starting at just $4.95 per month or VPS hosting at $19.95 per month with 2 GB of RAM and 2 CPU cores today!
If you’re on the hunt for cheap hosting that delivers better performance than shared hosting, HostGator’s cloud and VPS hosting plans are our top recommendations.
Most users won’t need this level of hosting when they’re just getting started. So, if your website is brand new or you’ve never created a website before, we recommend going with one of the other options on this list.
Note: VPS and cloud hosting require more technical knowledge since set up, configuration, customization, and server maintenance are all in your hands.
Cloud hosting is different from shared hosting because you get your own allocated resources (you don’t have to share) split between numerous servers. As a result, you get better performance, flexible resources, enhanced scalability, and more uptime.
So, if you’re currently frustrated with your shared hosting plan and frequently experience traffic spikes or plan to grow quickly, this is an excellent way to get an affordable upgrade.
To put HostGator’s cloud plans in perspective, Google charges $40 to $50 per month and Liquid Web charges $19 per month. However, HostGator’s introductory cloud hosting plan starts at just $4.95 per month.
With it, you get:
·         2 GB of RAM (plenty for small sites)
·         2 CPU cores (with shared hosting, you typically get one)
·         Unmetered storage space
·         A free domain name for the first year
·         A complimentary SSL certificate
·         Automated server switches if something goes wrong
·         Custom-built caching configurations
If you’re not sure what all that means, don’t worry. It all equates to improved website performance with your own resources at a fraction of the cost of other cloud hosting providers.
VPS hosting, on the other hand, is slightly different from cloud hosting. You still get your own resources, but you’re limited to one physical server. This type of hosting is best for hosting one website that’s outgrown shared hosting but doesn’t need the scalability and dynamic demand that cloud hosting provides.
Bluehost VPS hosting starts at $29.99 per month, and A2 VPS hosting starts at $39.99 per month. So, it can be quite the spike from shared hosting.
However, HostGator’s introductory VPS hosting plan starts at $19.95 per month, and you get the same number of resources as its entry-level cloud hosting plan.
The most significant differences are that there’s a storage space limit of 120 GB, and you don’t get automatic server switches since you’re limited to one server.
Methodology For Choosing The Best Cheap Web Hosting
Now you know our top cheap web hosting recommendations.
Next, let’s talk about the criteria we considered and how we chose these specific providers (aside from our own experiences using them).
When it comes to cheap web hosting, it’s typically understood that lower costs come with a lower ceiling for performance and fewer features. So, the methodology we outline below will help you decide which “type” of cheap is the best fit for your new website.
Promotional Pricing vs. Long-Term Costs
Every option on this list has a monthly promo fee of less than $7 per month and they all renew at less than $15 per month after your initial contract term.
Compared to dedicated or managed hosting, this is a steal (even at the renewal rate). However, you need to decide which type of “cheap” you’re looking for.
Do you want to pay as little as possible today, or do you want the best long-term pricing?
If you’re looking for the lowest out-of-pocket costs today, Dreamhost is the cheapest. You can get started for $4.95. And that’s it.
The other good news is that you don’t have to worry about promotional pricing. That’s the price you’ll pay forever.
However, the cheapest long-term web hosting service is Hostinger at $0.99/month with a two-year contract. You’ll pay $47.52 today for four full years of hosting. Then, the price goes up to $2.99 per month.
It’s cheaper in terms of long-term costs, but it’s more out-of-pocket today.
Another thing to consider is the cost of add-ons and other features you may need but aren’t included in your cheap hosting plan. This includes things like domain name privacy and protection, email accounts, a domain name, and extra security.
Many “cheap” plans don’t include some or all of these things to keep costs low.
So, while something may SEEM to be the cheapest option out there, don’t forget to factor in these extra expenses when comparing prices for different providers.
For example, both Hostinger and Dreamhost don’t include a free domain name with their introductory plans. So, that’s an added expense you need to consider. Furthermore, Hostinger comes with one email account, whereas Dreamhost doesn’t include any.
As such, you’ll have to pay extra for email accounts if you need them, whereas the other options on our list include an unlimited number of email accounts for free.
 Website Performance
If you’re interested in optimizing for search engines or improving the overall user experience, site speed makes a difference.
Want people to stick around? Load faster than three seconds. Want to sell more products or generate more affiliate revenue? Don’t make visitors wait.
Most cheap hosting plans offer similar site speed performance. The real difference comes when you upgrade to a managed plan or dedicated server. However, A2 Hosting boasts the fastest cheap web hosting in the industry.
With that said, factors like storage space, bandwidth, and a content delivery network (CDN) play a role in how fast your site loads.
While every provider listed here (aside from Hostinger) offers unmetered bandwidth on their cheap introductory plan, that doesn’t mean it’s unlimited.
Once you reach a certain threshold, your site’s performance will start to suffer and you’ll need to upgrade to a better plan as your website gets more traffic and you use up your available storage space.
In terms of website performance, Hostinger is the most limiting with 10 GB of storage space and 100 GB of bandwidth on the entry-level plan.
Which… makes sense because it’s the cheapest option on your list.
These limitations won’t affect you when you’re just getting started. But, as your website grows, you’ll start to feel the degradation in performance until you upgrade to a more expensive plan.
On the other hand, GreenGeeks offers the most room for growth with unlimited storage space and unmetered bandwidth. However, it’s more out-of-pocket today and the renewal rate is on the more expensive side.
Going back to what we talked about earlier, you have to decide which type of “cheap” is the best fit for your situation.
High Server Uptimes
Every provider on this list has an uptime guarantee between 99.9% and 99.99%. However, this doesn’t mean you’ll never experience downtime.
In most cases, that guarantee doesn’t include scheduled downtime or situations outside of the provider’s control. Which… covers nearly every situation in which your site would be down.
If your site does go down for more than 0.1% of the month, you get 5% of that month’s fees back for every hour of downtime.
But they list numerous events that don’t qualify for their 99.9% guarantee, including scheduled maintenance and network outages. It leaves us to wonder what actually IS covered under their promise.
With that said, unexpected downtime could mean lost revenue or missed opportunities.
So, that 0.01% of downtime—or more—isn’t something to take lightly (regardless of what your provider promises).
And although it may not happen often, your site WILL go down at some point. When it happens, you need top-notch customer service that’s on top of resolving the issue as fast as possible.
24/7/365 Support
Whether you’ve never set up a website before, have set up hundreds of websites, or are migrating from a host you’re unhappy with, 24/7/365 support is crucial.
Aside from unexpected downtime, quick access to an experienced customer service rep should play a role in your decision. This is true even if you don’t expect to contact them for anything because you never know what’s going to happen.
Some provider’s on our list outsource customer support, meaning their representatives aren’t a part of their in-house team.
This can lead to extremely frustrating service experiences, particularly because they may not know enough about the technical side of your hosting plan to actually do anything and help you resolve the issue.
Another thing to consider is where the support team is located. Are they strictly US-based?
While that’s excellent for US customers, it’s not so great for international customers in different time zones. You may have to wait an entire day to get a response due to time differences.
Furthermore, you may not be able to call the support team at all if they don’t provide international phone numbers.
The best way to test response times and overall support quality is to take advantage of money-back guarantees. Sign up for an account, pay the initial fees, and get to know their customer support team.
Try every support channel they offer and take note of your experience.
If they’re unhelpful or you don’t get the help you need in a timely manner, cancel and move on to a host better suited to help you.
Just remember to cancel and request a refund before your refund period is up.
Most providers give you at least 30 days to try out their services. However, DreamHost gives you 97 days, and A2 Hosting offers an anytime money-back guarantee. With that said, SiteGround is known for its exceptional customer service. So it’s a fantastic choice if this is your first time buying hosting, or you’d like additional guidance along the way. However, it does come in as one of the most expensive “cheap” hosting options on our list.
 Summary
Choosing the right cheap web hosting provider isn’t always easy, but it’s an essential consideration for your website’s future.
So, sit down and take the time to list out your requirements.
Then make an educated decision based on your priorities and specific needs.
If you’re still stuck, Hostinger and Dreamhost are our top cheap web hosting recommendations. They’re usually a safe bet. But if they do not check all your boxes, you can use this post as a guide while you go through the process of making your final decision.

That implies that since April 2020 they just had 14 blackouts and 23 minutes of personal time. The solitary month where DigitalOcean didn’t convey an ideal 100% uptime was April 2020 (with an uptime of 99.96%).
DigitalOcean last 12-month uptime and speed statistics DigitalOcean average uptime | See stats The average uptime for the past 12-months:

2. Lightning-Fast Load Times 268 ms
Uptime is the main measurement to look for while choosing a web to have.
After all — every chime and whistle in the world will not record for a load of bologna if your site is spending extensive stretches disconnected.
Coming in as a nearby second is speed.
Slacking sites should be ‘down’, in every practical sense. Lazy destinations are practically unusable. Your traffic will not spare a moment to bob. In a real sense. A distinction of only a couple of seconds can cost you practically the entirety of your potential site traffic.

Their previous year’s normal page stacking time was 268 ms — the quickest we’ve seen!
A nearby second is A2 Hosting with a 285 ms stacking time.
3. Engineer Friendly Product Ecosystem:
DigitalOcean isn’t only a one-stunt horse. Truth be told, their set-up of items offers huge loads of potential for designers.
What are the various choices offered by DigitalOcean?
Happy you inquired.
Beads
Drops is a versatile figuring stage that can be tweaked to meet the entirety of a business’ application needs. It likewise remembers add-for capacity, observing, and progressed security.
DigitalOcean drops:
You can pick between standard or upgraded drops and afterward modify them however much you might want. Drops let devs avoid tedious establishment and design to move directly along toward code sending.
Spaces:
Though Droplets is for application sending, Spaces is about straightforward item stockpiling.
We’re discussing a security framework that permits you to store and convey information to applications and end clients. Spaces work under a straightforward cycle, making solid stockpiling with an intuitive UI or API.
Spaces can be utilized to store reinforcement documents, weblogs, information investigation, and considerably more.
The assistance is likewise versatile, so your Spaces can develop with your organization. What’s more — Spaces can be joined with other DigitalOcean highlights, or they can be utilized all alone.
Kubernetes
Kubernetes are intended for designers and administrators.
How would you be able to manage Kubernetes?
You can send your web applications for Kubernetes for simpler scaling, higher accessibility, and lower costs. You can likewise utilize these for API and backend administrations.
4. Adaptable Pricing
Although we likewise have it under our cons, we believe it’s quite wonderful that you can really alter all that you pay for — your site stockpiling, CPU utilization, transmission capacity, data set, memory, and so on
It’s actually an extraordinary benefit in case you’re a high-level client and as of now acquainted with precisely what you need, what your objectives are, what you don’t require, etc.
5. Every day Backups
DigitalOcean performs reinforcements every day and you can generally reestablish any information as long as 7 days earlier. Even though DigitalOcean has prevalent uptime, it’s in every case preferred to be protected over grieved!
6. Great Security
Your information and traffic are constantly gotten. This is something that numerous different hosts don’t stress a lot or don’t give. DigitalOcean ensures that your information is secured from start to finish. It’s an incredible benefit to keep those badly-willed associations and infections out of your site framework.
Of course, DigitalOcean has added encryption to its volumes. If you need to add an extra layer of safety, as with the majority of their highlights, you’ll need to go through an instructional exercise, follow the means, and know some coding to succeed.
Cons of Using DigitalOcean Hosting
DigitalOcean began solid, in any case, there are additionally a few downsides that should be noted out.
We should have a more intensive look.
1. For Advanced Users
The characteristic of a really incredible item lies in its capacity, to sum up, its administrations in layman’s terms.
This is something tech organizations, specifically, struggle to fold their aggregate heads over.
All things considered, most tech locales and stages will in general be brimming with language. As in, “uncommon words or articulations that are utilized by a specific calling or bunch and are hard for others to comprehend”.
At the point when one glances at tech items like DigitalOcean, the compulsion to turn to language-based language turns out to be clear. You’re managing a ton of specialized data — a master in the field would be constrained to compose it as far as they might be concerned, and not how the normal individual can get it.
That is no biggie for the high-level, power clients. They’ll get it. It’ll all bode well.
Yet, for the amateurs? No way.
This is a territory wherein DigitalOcean bombs significantly. The site’s duplicate is loaded up with specialized terms and abbreviations with no clarification. They’re obviously showcasing their item to designers explicitly.
In this way, others will battle to sort out some way to move a webpage over, dispatch, keep up, or even develop their site.
In correlation, Dreamhost works really hard of improving the language of their site into terms that a normal individual sees exhaustively.
2. Needs Basic Features Other Consumer Hosts Provide
The most web as we’ve checked on will toss in the equivalent ‘additional items.’ For instance, reinforcements, perhaps a decent CDN, and surprisingly an SSL authentication.
In contrast to other people, because DigitalOcean obliges a further developed group, they don’t toss in a lot of essential highlights that numerous different hosts will give or deal with to you in the wake of joining.
Stuff like:
Free space name with facilitating
The capacity to try and buy a space name
Free site movements
This means they can assist you with a portion of these things. In any case, you shouldn’t expect a great deal of hand-holding administrations when you join.
This really carries us to our next point.
3. Restricted Customer Support
Most facilitating organizations offer some variety of all-day, every-day support.
It may not generally be excellent, yet in any event, it’s something.
Lamentably, DigitalOcean has not at all like that. On the off chance that your site goes down in the center of the evening (which could be appalling on the off chance that you’re managing in abroad business sectors), there’s nobody for you to converse with. You need to go to their site and open a help ticket utilizing their online structure.
DigitalOcean makes ticket form4. Confounded cPanel
As been referenced as of now, DigitalOcean is certainly not for novices. Fundamentally, a cPanel is the thing that you need to assemble your site these days (except if you’re on an acceptable footing with programming dialects).
For DigitalOcean, first and foremost, you’ll need to set up a Droplet of your decision (DigitalOcean workers). At that point you’ll have to introduce the cPanel following a careful guide including embeddings a few code orders (indeed, you need to know some coding), enrolling your record, introducing the execution document, and so on
On top of the wide range of various stuff, you’ll need to buy the privilege from an outsider to utilize the cPanel.
If you have no involvement in coding and how to be an engineer yourself, we recommend, you either recruit a designer (a decent one) or keep away from DigitalOcean and discover arrangements that suit your necessities and abilities more.
The convenience of cPanel is generally instinctive, however, then again — there’s an expectation to learn and adapt and it’s unquestionably not for amateurs.
5. Estimating is Complicated
When you get into the evaluating plans, you’ll head will go dazed with every one of the choices and potential outcomes which you can utilize and overhaul. There are various classifications for data transmission, space, workers (various paces), CPU, security choices, and so on
Essentially put — with DigitalOcean there are loads of approaches to make your month-to-month expense extremely expensive.
Most different suppliers offer 2–5 distinct plans which give you a decent outline of what you get. With DigitalOcean you can modify everything yourself.
It very well may be something worth being thankful for, however except if you’re a high-level client (as referenced over), it’s fairly convoluted and tedious.
DigitalOcean Pricing, Hosting Plans, and Quick Facts
DigitalOcean’s Standard Droplets plan begins at $5 each month. The costs ascend from that point, getting increasingly elevated until you’re paying $80 each month for all the more very good quality administrations:
DigitalOcean fundamental drop prices when you take a gander at the CPU Optimized Droplets, those are beginning at $40 and going as far as possible up to an incredible $720 each month:
DigitalOcean computer processor enhanced evaluating
Speedy Facts
The simplicity of Signup: Quite simple (you can join with email, Google Account, or GitHub)
Free area: Not free.
Cash Back: No. Valuing depends on the pay-more only as costs arise model.
Installment Methods: All significant Debit and Credit Cards, PayPal.
Secret Fees and Clauses: No significant ones.

Record Activation: Account actuation is speedy.
Control Panel and Dashboard: Custom control board (with cPanel choice)
Establishment of Apps and CMSs (WordPress, Joomla, and so forth): One-tick installer for WordPress and other applications/CMSs.
Do We Recommend DigitalOcean?
Indeed…
… insofar as you’re an engineer.
In case you’re simply a normal individual hoping to dispatch a web presence, there are undeniably more easy-to-understand items out there that will cost you undeniably less.
For somebody that feels comfortable around the tech world, there is by all accounts no quicker or more profoundly performing item than DigitalOcean.
There are not many downsides yet on the off chance that uptime and speed are the main variables for you, DigitalOcean is among the most ideal decisions available.

VPS Hosting
VPS stands for Virtual Private Server and is probably the most popular service to upgrade to and it can be the most well-balanced one as well.
A VPS server is still a shared environment, but the way it is shared is very different.
First of all, a VPS server is usually limited to 10-20. This decreases stress in itself, but the real improvement comes in the form of the hypervisor – which is the coolest name for something ever.
A VPS server is literally split into as many parts as there are users. If there are 10 users, 10GB of RAM and 200GB of hard drive spave on the server, each user will be able expend 1GB of RAM and 20GB of space. Once you hit the RAM limit your site may go down, but the others will remain stable. The hypervisor is the one responsible for managing the virtual machines that create this separation within the server.
This simple addition removes almost all of the bad neighbour effect. Extremely rarely there can be some issues which affect multiple users by affecting the hypervisor itself, but this isn’t something you need to worry about.
Another big benefit of VPS servers is that they are highly configurable, providing a lot more flexibility. On shared hosts you can’t really modify your environment because you’d be changing everyone else’s as well. Since your account is contained within a virtual machine you can make a lot more changes without affecting others. This is something developers will be happy about.
Lastly, VPS is scalable. Since you are running a virtual machine which takes some percentage of the resources available to the server as a whole, the amount of resources you are allowed to use can be increased in seconds. This is a great comfort to business owners who expect their sites to grow and flourish.
So, who is VPS for. I would actually recommend VPS services to anybody who has around $20/month to spend. VPS can get a lot more expensive, but even the lowest tier will be a lot better than any shared hosting solution.
VPS packages can come as low as $10/month but most of them would clock in at around $25 with the average service being $50 a month. As you scale up you can get into the $120 – $150 range but don’t worry too much, if you actually need that much RAM and bandwidth you are probably making enough money to easily cover the cost.
Some well known and respected VPS solutions are offered by inMotion Hosting and Dreamhost.
A little addition here at the end: A high end VPS can be a lot cheaper than a low end dedicated server and also a lot more powerful. Don’t be fooled into thinking that dedicated is a more advanced option just because you are the only person on a server. Look at the resources available to you instead, that’s what really matters.

hi! i have a friend who's trying to figure out where they could post a new comic. i know there was drama about tapastic, but it looks like grassblades has its own domain now? do you have any recommendations?
Hi! Grassblades has had its own domain almost from the start, over 2 years ago! It’s just that it gained more of a readership on Tapastic, before the whole drama blew up and I stopped posting there. (the pages I had already posted are still up; I’m still trying to decide what to do about it.) If your friend has the money to spare for it, I highly recommend having your own website! That affords you full control over content and layout, and you aren’t at the mercy of the whims of whatever corporate entity owns the hosting site you choose. So your own website is always a good choice! If you aren’t confident about web-design (and gosh knows I’m not - I’m a tech-neanderthal) getting one up and running is fairly easy! I host Grassblades on DreamHost, which has a one-click wordpress install, and I use the Comic Easel-theme for Grassblades. I put together the look of the site in less than an hour, and I didn’t even try to make it fancy. I know other people use Grawlix CMS and are very happy with it! But if your friend doesn’t feel ready to do that, there are a few other options! Smackjeeves - this host has been around for a long time, and has gone through a few changes, but they’re fairly stable, as far as I’m aware. I have several friends who host on Smackjeeves! You get pretty much everything you might want - a few customisation tools, easy uploading process, comments, etc. Webtoons - More geared towards vertical-scroll comics, Webtoons does have comments, etc. like Smackjeeves does, but Webtoons does not give you, the creator, any way of keeping track of those comments - at least not to my knowledge. I don’t use the site myself. The readers also tend to demand very regular, and very LARGE updates. As in, every time you post an episode, they’re expecting multiple pages, even if you post several times a week. You already know about Tapastic, and as far as I’m aware, they’ve removed the drama-causing clause from their TOS, but I am personally not interested in going back there. If your friend wants to try Tapastic out, then they should feel free to do so - I just advise them to keep a really close eye on any changes to the TOS. Although that goes for ANY hosting-site that isn’t your own. Keep an eye on your publishing rights, they’re important. If you or your friend have any other questions about webcomics, I recommend they head over to the Comic Book Hour-forums! Lots of webcomic creators for you to ask questions of. :)

Uptime is one of the most critical aspects when choosing a web host – after all, if your site is down, your users can’t access it.
Here’s the breakdown of Bluehost’s average uptime in the past 12 months:
January 2021: 100%
December 2020: 99.98%
November 2020: 100%
October 2020: 99.67%
September 2020: 100%
August 2020: 99.99%
July 2020: 99.98%
June 2020: 100%
May 2020: 99.90% (scheduled     maintenance)
April 2020: 99.99%
March 2020: 99.98%
February 2020: 100%
While it isn’t competing for the top positions, it isn’t bad either.
Still, the cheapest plan does have a few restrictions that we’re not entirely happy with – but more about this later on.
The migration usually takes around 1-3 business days to complete.
If you don’t have a WordPress website or have more than one then it costs $149.99. This gets you up to 5 website migrations and 20 email account migrations.
9. The Official WordPress.org Recommended Host
WordPress is the most widely used website platform on the market – ~47% of the entire Internet is built with WordPress.
 Cons of Using Bluehost Hosting
Bluehost has some great perks going for their hosting service, but there are a couple of hiccups too.
Even though we’re happy to see such low introductory prices, the renewal rates can get a bit steep.
Let’s take a closer look at these downsides.
1. Higher Renewal Rates
The best way to get the lowest possible price for hosting is to prepay for one, two, or even three years upfront. The average monthly price decreases, but you’re also committing hundreds of dollars in advance.
Rest assured, you can use the 30-day money-back guarantee to get a refund if you don’t like their service. However, once the initial plan duration is over, you can expect a steep rise in the rates.
Let’s say you commit to the cheapest plan for three years, which is $2.75/month. After the initial period, the next period’s renewal price starts at $8.99/month with a three-year commitment.
In this case, the subsequent period is three times more expensive than the first.
2. Cheapest Plan Restrictions
Bluehost’s cheapest shared hosting plan comes with some heavy restrictions.
You can only have a single website, the storage space is limited and the only security feature you get is a free SSL certificate. So, if you have multiple sites or want more security, you have to go for at least the next pricing tier, which is twice as expensive.
Sadly, such restrictions on the cheapest plan are quite common in the web hosting industry. The companies compete over who can lure the customers in with the lowest price, only to upsell a decent hosting service at a higher price.
  Quick Facts
Money-Back: 30-day money-back guarantee.
Website Migration: Free transfer for 1 WordPress website. Other     migrations are $149.99 for up to 5 websites and 20 email accounts.
Free domain? Yes, for the first year. Then renews at $15.99 per year.
Ease of Sign-up: Easy and guided sign-up process.
Payment Methods: Major credit cards and PayPal.
Hidden Fees and Clauses: No refund on domain names. Renewal rates for     both domains and hosting are much higher than the introductory rates.
Upsells: Some     upsells during sign-up, but nothing too aggressive.
Account Activation: Instant activation in most cases. If the     information is inaccurate or there’s suspicion of fraud, activation might     get delayed.
Control Panel and Dashboard Experience: Easy-to-use cPanel
Installation of Apps and CMS (WordPress, Joomla,     etc.): Mojo Marketplace makes app installation quick     and easy.
Do We Recommend Bluehost?
Yes, we do.
Bluehost has performed slightly better in the past, but they still provide a reliable service with decent server speeds.
Also, they offer strong security options, a great money-back guarantee, plenty of user-friendly apps, and multiple tiers of hosting packages suitable for different customers. The pricing starts at $2.75/month with our special discount.
Still, Bluehost isn’t perfect, though. The hosting plans’ renewal rates will increase dramatically after the initial signup period, and the cheapest plan has some critical restrictions compared to the next tiers.
But overall, Bluehost delivers decent performance and good value for your money.

What Is User Experience (And How Can You Use It to Build a Site That Suits Your Audience)?
What a time to be alive!
Beginners with no coding experience can now build a website with minimal effort and expense. Even better, the options are limitless: You’ve got an entire arsenal of colors, fonts, images, and buttons at your disposal. But with so many design elements to play with, it can be tempting to go a bit wild.
“A sprinkle of animation here! A dash of cheetah print there!”
But, as is often the case with things that glitter, it’s easy to go overboard — especially if your creativity is reducing the functionality of your site.
Whether you want to sell a product or share some blog posts, you’re not really building the website for you. It’s your site’s visitors that need to be happy with the design and user interface. That’s where User Experience (UX) comes into play. Keeping a strong focus on UX while building your site should pay off in higher conversions and lower bounce rates.
In this article, I’ll give you a crash course in UX and explain what a UX designer does. Then we’ll go over some tips on recognizing good UX design when you encounter it. Finally, I’ll show you how to use UX to create a better website for your audience. Feel free to jump ahead to the section that’s most beneficial to you!
What is user experience?
What does a UX professional do?
What makes a good UX design?
How can you create a positive user experience on your site?
List of the best UX resources
Ready to talk UX strategy? Let’s get started!
An Introduction to User Experience (UX) and Why It Matters
Simply put, User Experience (UX) is how interacting with technology makes a user feel. UX applies to any technology, from an app to a game console.
When it comes to websites, UX design is about optimizing the interaction between the human user and the page. A site built with solid UX principles should leave the user feeling like they accomplished what they came to do without frustration.
That may make you think of going all out with the website’s visual design. That might include flashy animations and gigantic image carousels. If you remember MySpace, you probably still have nightmares about animated glitter and MIDI versions of Blink-182 songs . . . yikes.
But UX design has a lot less to do with how a site looks than how it’s used. To be effective, your website should be a complete experience — not just words and images on a page.
Users will forget data, such as how much they paid for the products they ordered. However, the experience of ordering should be pleasant and effortless. That experience will stay with them, increasing the odds that they’ll buy from you time and again.
If your site delivers a poor UX, you may see the opposite result. Users who become stressed out or angry when using your site will likely head to one of your competitors’ sites. They have many options and no reason to return to a website that’s difficult to use.
If you’re still not convinced that UX matters to your website, here are a few key statistics:
17% of users will not return after a single bad experience.
Better UX design can raise your conversion rates by up to 200%.
48% of users are annoyed by sites that aren’t mobile-friendly.
All of this serves to illustrate the importance of good UX design when building a website.

The Role of the UX Designer
UX is so vital there’s an entire profession dedicated to optimizing it. A UX designer’s day-to-day tasks will vary based on what kinds of projects they’re tackling. However, the goal is usually the same. The UX designer’s job is to optimize the user’s experience when interacting with digital technology while also keeping in mind the well-being of the business.
To achieve this balancing act, the UX designer follows a process that results in multiple deliverables.
Before any actual designing starts, there’s a lot of UX research to do. Therefore, the designer may first create one or more audience personas. This enables the designer to understand the user’s needs.
Next, the UX designer may present a potential user flow diagram to help explore possible ways that a user may interact with the website. They can then translate that information into a prototype. Prototypes may be as basic as a wireframe, a rough blueprint for what a final web page could look like. The designer may also create a more visually-robust prototype or even one that can be interacted with.
A basic wireframe.
The UX designer’s responsibilities don’t end with the final design. Once the site is launched, they may conduct usability testing or look into usage analytics to identify and fix potential problems.
In other words, they’re involved with all stages of a website’s creation and launch.

How to Recognize Good UX Design
If you’re handling your own UX design, it’s your responsibility to advocate for your audience while ensuring that you’re still getting what you want from your site. To do that, the first step is to learn how to recognize robust UX design.
With that in mind, let’s look at some examples of UX in the wild. There are four key elements you’ll want to pay close attention to.
1. Navigation
Poor navigational design can render any website useless. Moving through a site should be smooth and intuitive. The navigation menu should also be accessible no matter what device a visitor is using.
Breadcrumb navigation is one way designers prevent users from getting lost, especially if a website has many pages.
It’s also important to pay attention to links. Web designers who employ strong UX make sure you can identify links when you see them. This often means underlining them and using a different text color. They’ll also use meaningful anchor text, so you know where the link is taking you before clicking on it.

2. Content
A significant part of successful UX is understanding how people interact with different parts of a website. For example, most people don’t read web page content normally. They scan it and then stop to read if they’ve found something interesting.
Content is scannable if a user can quickly browse through a blog post or sales page and come away with a clear idea of what it’s communicating.
Keeping paragraphs short is one way to create scan-friendly content. Those paragraphs should be broken up frequently with headings, lists, and images. Designers may also make use of pull-quotes, bolded text, and similar elements.

3. Animation
Animation is an effective way to stand out from a sea of websites and grab a user’s attention. It adds an element of fun and can contribute to creating a memorable experience for the user.
However, there’s a right and a wrong way to go about implementing it.
Subtle animation can provide feedback while you wait for a transaction to complete. An animation can also loop endlessly while you struggle to focus on reading a product description. These approaches create two very different experiences. The overuse of animation can also affect UX on mobile devices.
4. Responsiveness
Optimizing a website for mobile users is a must. If you’re like most people, you usually use your phone to access the internet. If you come across a site that you have to struggle to use on your device, you’re likely to simply abandon it.
Beyond choosing a responsive theme, you can take additional steps to ensure that your site works well on all screens. For example, you can run your website through Google’s Mobile-Friendly Test Tool.
This tool will alert you to issues that are keeping your site from being mobile-friendly. You may find that a particular font is too difficult to read on a tiny screen, for instance, or that buttons are too small to tap easily.

How to Use UX to Design a Site for Your Audience
Now that you know what good UX is, how do you apply it to your site?
You probably won’t be doing intensive market research or prototyping with high-fidelity wireframes. Still, putting on your UX designer hat can help you create a site that both you and your audience will love.
First, it’s important to be clear about why you have a website and what you want it to do. For example, are you:
Selling a product on an e-commerce site?
Creating content to generate revenue (for example, blogging about food or fitness)?
Running an affiliate website?
Trying to get hired for freelance work?
Promoting your services with an online portfolio?
Building an online presence for your brick-and-mortar business?
Next, get to know your ideal user or potential customer. Creating a user persona will help you imagine how your target audience may interact with your website. This persona can be as simple as who the person is, what they want, and what keeps them from getting it. Crucially, you must identify what the user needs to be successful on your site.
Remember that accessibility is an integral part of UX. You may have visitors who use assistive technology, so consider making accessibility a priority when building your site.
You can also check out your competitors’ sites to see what’s working for them. Is the shopping cart icon always in the upper-right corner? Maybe yours should be, too. You can be creative without reinventing the wheel; users shouldn’t have to figure out how your site works to accomplish their goals.
Finally, website performance matters for UX. Slow pages will cause visitors to leave before the site has a chance to load. There are many ways to speed up your site, although your best bet is to start with quality hosting.

Optimizing your site’s UX means ensuring that it has clear navigation, creating content that’s easy to scan, testing it for responsiveness, and more. There’s a lot to learn, but there are also plenty of useful resources and knowledgeable designers who can help.

How to start a cleaning service
Hi, my name is Rob. I'm the owner of Lemon Clear Cleaning Service in Philadelphia, PA. You can check out my website below.
For myself, starting my own business was always a dream of mine. But, for some reason or another I kept procrastinating and getting stuck in jobs where I had lost my motivation to actually do something productive. My father was a business owner and I was just getting by. I was definitely not living up to the family standard.
As I got older, I experienced many ups and downs in life. More and more of the latter. When I finally came to the end of my rope, it was either sink or swim for me. I ended up getting my life together and getting out of the office realm. I ended up taking a job doing deliveries on my bike at the age of 38. Crazy, huh? Well for me, it worked out in my favor.
Being out on the bike for hours and hours at a time probably saved my life, to tell you the truth. It gave me time to think and reflect on things in life, not to mention the great exercise it provided. And being that the job was at night, usual 8pm-3am, I still had all of my days available to work on other things. To top it all off, I was making alright money doing it too! I began to get motivated..
I knew I wanted to start my own business, but I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to do, or how to start. I thought of everything from inventing a special wallet to cooking panzarottis on the street corner. After a lot of research, I decided I was going to start a cleaning service in Philadelphia. The start up cost was low and I could still do deliveries to fund it as well as my regular expenses. And, of course, I already knew how to clean!
The first step I took was to come up with a name for my cleaning service. I decided on Lemon Clear Cleaning Service. I made sure the name wasn't taken and I registered for an LLC. The name was a play on words from a Nirvana song I loved as a kid. I also bought the domain www.lemonclear.com and got some cheap hosting through Dreamhost.
Next, I made sure I was completely legal. I had to file for an EIN# as well as a Philadelphia business license. I made sure I was tax compliant. I was going to get insurance at that point, but decided I would wait until I started getting jobs. The company needed a business account, so I opened one at my bank.
I wanted to provide the best cleaning services Philadelphia had to offer, so I started saving up for and buying equipment a little at a time. It took over a year to get to where I wanted to be with the supplies. Also, over that year, I learned how to make a website and I made one that offers easy, online booking. The website and equipment is ongoing to this day. I am always updating and upgrading my website and cleaning service equipment.
I started working on SEO for the website and slowly my site was working its way up the rankings in Google. Ad campaigns would follow and the customers started rolling in. At first I was much more interested in providing great cleaning services in Philadelphia than I was in making money. I wanted happy customers and good reviews more than anything. I knew the money would come in time.
Finally after riding my bike for four years, doing deliveries in every type of Philly weather you can think of.. I was able to quit my job and do the cleaning services full time. My life is full and I couldn't be happier. Each day is better than the last and I am always trying to grow my business. I couldn't have done it if I didn't experience the bad times in life. I needed that and used it as motivation. If there is anything I can do to help motivate you, let me know. Check out my website! To this day, we are committed to providing the best cleaning services Philadelphia has to offer.
