In The Army Special Train

One week to getting posted out from Chandigarh (that’s what I thought) and it was the week of never-ending parties, after-parties, social gatherings, and formal events. And before you judge me with ‘yeh army wale party bohot karte hain yaar’ let me tell you, “haan yaar… karte hain and we good at it!” On a serious note, that’s how these faujis say goodbye you know, making the most of every minute they get to spend together. They might be working their asses off till 9 pm in the night but you will find them all excited and ready to pull an all-nighter. Reason - you never know we might not meet with the same bunch for a long long time or maybe never. Anyways, so in all these get-togethers, there was this one topic that everyone seemed excited about – the unit would be moving to the next destination in a train, in an army special train! Have you ever heard about the army special train?! Lemme give you an idea: This train is green in colour and not brown or other colours you usually see. And the coaches have “Indian Army” or “Millitary” written on them… cool right?! B) Usually, this special train is used to move one whole unit with all its ‘taam-jhaam’. From men, their luggage, furniture, the whole kitchen with all its utensils and good enough ration (to feed the whole troop during the journey) to pets and flower pots, everything travels together in this(what sounds like a super fun) train.
