its so funny whenever a fic has wwx fondly think abt jc growing up in the time he was gone. 'growing up' is actually the exact opposite of the trajectory his character arc went on

#whats the worsld for someone becoming worse in every possible way #more immature #more violent #more short-tempered #more prone to outbursts #more vengeful. angrier and more lonely and more miserable #more cut off from the memory of someone he loved. more isolated #more bitter. you get the picture #he did become more confident on the surface I guess but he is still miserably insecure #he had one non-family friend in CR and postres hes got nobody. well his nephew I guess #he showed more courage and compassion and selflessness as a 16 yr old than as a 35 yr old....#ficblogging
