something comforting about how sorachi admits that he also doesnt know whats going on in gintokis head. me and you and everyone else
#leologisms#gintama#from. oh one of the tl'd sources on yorozuya shinigami that i was reading a few days ago#it is in fact about the curtains at the side. its about the frames around the panels and about the black bars around the screen#staring at his back......#semi related. timeskip arc has been on my mind. again#where gintoki is pulling the wool over our (shinpachis) eyes the whole time#[gintokis insides] is not a place we are allowed to enter#hm. another thing. hijikatas fantasy -> being able to pretend well enough to blend in#vs gintoki actually being able to. because gintoki is ambitionless? because gintoki doesnt envision an ideal future for himself?#for the same reason we can see gintoki throwing up but not hijikata?#pivoting to tsukkomi thoughts. tsukkomi as the audience stand in. and also the tsukkomi role being in service to the boke role#shinpachi + hijikata desire to be of service. this role then being completely taken over by gintoki#then immediatelt going back to the boke role. acting aloof about it
