The design phase of the collection building process is one of the most magical for me. This is where all of the ideas and inspirations I've had floating around in my head have a chance to be born. I'll make a few changes during fabrication - sometimes my ideas are ahead of my current skillset and I have to make adjustments.  That stretch for a solution and the constant learning are some of the other things that thrill me about this craft. I'm on the other side of the holiday rush - what a whirlwind!  I appreciate so much the support Andewyn Moon received...and the gracious patience also.  I reached capacity and you gave me such grace. I've noticed new faces around here and I figure some of you have found me because of this article I had the pleasure of writing and photographing for the @inherstudiomagazine . (I still pinch myself whenever I say that) I appreciate you hitting the follow button on this little account of mine!  I'm Adrienne, an artist, jeweler, photographer and writer living and creating in Tennessee. I take inspiration for the work I do from my spiritual connection to the Natural World. You'll find videos and photography centered around hiking adventures and nature walks in my Stories and feed frequently, along with our cats and backyard gardens. The photography and writing are things I love,  but the jewelry was the first to intrigue me past distraction.   If you read the magazine article you witnessed some of this obsession. I really do love this craft. The jewelry I create has always been a way of honoring Nature.  Nothing else ever really felt right to me. I've accepted her as my main Muse.  I've also been exploring the cultures and lands of the Ancestors who made me. There are many, and what I'm understanding on a deeper level is the influence they have always had on my creative being, coming out in the work I do on many levels. It's a magical, wondrous thing. Asé. I have a few things coming up on the calendar,  the first being @stillhouseherbals Witchy Market.  It's this Saturday in Donelson,  TN from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.   We were at the last one that took place in the fall and let me tell you, one of the *best* days. I'll have a few made to order items coming up in the next week for the website.
