this is like a big thing for me bc i was rly terrified my mom might have been lying about it to seem “interesting” but my mommom also told us we were jewish and i know she wouldn’t lie to me so it was just a case of the test

can i ask for your thoughts on people calling promare unredeemable for the anti-semetic themes in the movie? it's something i'm genuinely very distraught over bc promare is a big comfort to me and idk I would just like to hear your thoughts on the matter.

well im not jewish so i think its something ur gonna have to like.. sort out ur own opinion on? its important 2 listen 2 ppl abt stuff, ive heard dif opinions from ppl who can speak on it but im not gonna b like ‘well my jewish friends said its fine to like it!’ yknow lol. thats just a dick move. also i think its important 2 know if the person talking abt it has.. seen the movie... which sounds dumb 2 say cuz Duh but a lot of ppl i see talking abt it being ireedeemable have not seen it. not saying this to b like, which is why those ppl r WRONG, just saying that its definitely smth ive noticed. i have my own opinions on what criteria this site uses to mark things as whats ok to like critically or not but im not gonna bog this down w my opinions on that 

i mean i think ive talked abt this b4 and i obviously think its possible to recognize that it does fuck up w imagery n whatnot but still.. enjoy the movie ig bc im still a pmare blog so. i dont think it was intentionally hurtful in that regard but i think it was obviously a stupid and hurtful move to use certain imagery that can b rly painful to irl ppl. and to care more about visuals than the story w serious topics they were trying to handle, which is always a bad move when ur narrative depends on handling smth w sensitivity and care.

anyway in conclusion i cant rly help u w like, feeling better abt it...? cuz i think its smth u gotta do some of ur own critical thinking abt. and its not rly my place to say whether u should feel one way or the other. i dont think its ireedeemable or i wouldnt have a blog about it but u have to b able to look critically at smths flaws esp if they do make real ppl feel uncomfortable or hurt. and also recognize other ppls comfort comes b4 ur own abt this kinda stuff. i dont mean this as a lecture or smth im being genuine that its important to keep in mind (not saying u DONT cuz i dont know u)
