Like I don’t ship Coronabeth and Ianthe (mostly because I personally don’t think Ianthe can have a healthy relationship without a crazy amount of therapy and like at least 200K words put in) but it’s kinda a disservice to straight up ignore that there are very clear incest vibes.
It’s an important part of their relationship. The love between the two of them has become this massive twisted Thing that’s full of pride and control. Ianthe is incredibly selfish and sees Coronabeth as an extension of herself, which is made even easier because they’re literally twins. So of course they have incest vibes- Ianthe barely sees Coronabeth as her own person.

There have been times where I wished we were able to go about with how Quill reacted without Gamora in his life for the first couple weeks/months after being brought back from dust. I know Thor: love and thunder gives us a touch about how his look is different, he seems really exhausted in that film and the words he says to Thor are very.. heartbreaking. (I barely watched that film as I couldn’t get through it after the Guardians were gone, that movie is God Awful) I feel like part of this want is because we never really get to see Quill mourn Gamora aside from the scene where Thor joins the guardians and Quill’s staring at her and a small touch of it in V3 (I would rant about this if I wasn’t exhausted myself, right now) I’m just wishing this was handled better in the other films, especially in V3.

#watching people debate him is so interesting to me#pro-Anakin people get it right in that upbringing shapes how a person is: he’s a slave child and had to leave his mom#so of COURSE he’s going to have an iron grip on people attachment-wise#but they tend to deny Anakin his own autonomy and resolve him of every bad thing he did#when it’s like: no. he DID all of that. not just did it…but did it once then did it again#meanwhile anti-Anakin people (usually) tend to understand that Anakin made terrible choices#but again…they either deny him autonomy by making him an always-evil character#or by just downplay the relationship he has with Obi-Wan or Padme. Completely dehumanizing him.#Like the truth is in the middle: he’s a deeply complex person#(arguably more so than fandom can completely understand)#it doesn’t help it that these people either tend to be pro Jedi (anti-Anakin) or pro Sith (pro Anakin)#Pro Jedi people tend to be…Xenophobic is the nicest term for how they treat Anakin#But pro Sith people tend to claim that the Jedi are a cult (they aren’t) and Anakin was groomed by it (he wasn’t)#So they use Anakin as the sort of doll to put all of their beliefs into. #basic rule of thumb is two year olds are expected to be able to use TWO words in a row.#some can do more. some can do less.#but please assume that if a child is under three they are not speaking thoughts more complex than 'I want that' or 'I am [sad/hungry/mad]'#Occassionally you'll hear a pretty complex thought like 'It's snowing outside!' but that's only certain kids#If they draw your attention to something it's usually just the word 'LOOK' and a bunch of pointing#If they're upset words go completely out the window and you'll just hear crying/screaming. possibly the word 'no' or 'Mama' or 'Daddy'#Kids tend to say 'mama' or 'daddy' even if those people aren't in the immediate area#Tho I have had the hilarious experience of hearing an angry kid loudly scream for his older sister#are there exceptions to the rule? yes of course#also: most kids understand social cues before they can actively participate in them#So for instance when I put on my coat they all start yelling 'Bye Maggie!' even if I am actively having a conversation#They also know that it's typical to greet someone when they come in the door but they don't know WHEN or HOW#which results in them just. Yelling your name at you when you come in the room. Sometimes they'll say 'MAGGIE HERE.'#When the phone rings they yell 'HELLO??' at it.
