i had some rambley post abt hgsn and hikaru's insides, but mokumoku len's last twitter extra pic still has me stumped >:( i cant make any statements off of it 😭 !!!!!!!!
#personal#i think mokumoku len's post abt the lore in hgsn was too specific but at the same time vague? or maybe confusing bc of the#machine's translation. idk. im either overthinking or dumb. it just feels like its an implication and not an outright 'reason'#'feels good bc endorphins are released when ur abt to die' so he's abt to die..? despite nothing in the manga itself saying that#still cant tell if theyre talking specifically abt hikaru or objectively saying that happens (it doesnt). but if its a fantasy element...#it's still just saying the person's abt to die? at the very least? bc irl endorphins would only immediately release to pain#while before the twitter extra it just seemed more like yoshiki was rightfully scared (which wouldnt make endorphins release right away#but would in a bit. normally)#i cant really see the point in being so specific to mention that. u wouldnt declare that after the kids were in gym or when they eat#though at no point is he shown to be in pain
