actually crazy that ouyang and esen spend the entirety of she who became the sun unable to identify/name their connection/relationship, and then in he who drowned the world we see that literally everyone else does so super easily. like zhu just automatically thinks of esen as ouyang’s beloved, that’s who he is to zhu
