🟠🦆Mud Bay Moon 🟠💙 The Full Harvest Moon rises over South Surrey and an invisible Mount Baker in Washingtion State. Wildfires burning on both sides of the international border have our skies filled with smoke. . The moon was a pink as it rose behind the Cascade Mountain Range, then it turned orange as I took this photo. A flock of ducks take advantage of the ebb tide and drill through the mud in search of food. . I'm in shorts and a t-shirt defending myself from relentless mosquitos. (Note to self: Bring bug repellent or a full body mosquito net next time I visit) . Looking over Mud Bay (the northeast side of Boundary Bay) to the shores of South Surrey with the Historic Stewart Farm to the left and just out of the frame. . The other half of this photo (swipe right), a railway bridge crossing the Nicomekyl River, Crescent Beach Marina, Crescent Beach Point and cars parked with their headlights on at Blackie Spit. Crescent Park on top of the hill. . The red light above the treeline is a cell tower in Surrey Athletic Park by the South Surrey Arena. . I found the moon reflection in the watery mud quite strange with the flat sides. What's going on there? .
