Can we get Lances Team from TSBS for the OC ask thing. -👽

I’ll be adding their names in bold and answering each like that!

What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)?

Min’ak - I wanted her to stand out, and what better way than longass limbs and cute clicking sounds?

Neevah - Dragon lesbian (She’s got a few tricks up her sleeve I can’t wait to show)

Ruge - Smol lesbian (Also has  a pretty kickass trick up her sleeve)

Theryk - Big Eared Knife Gay (What he can do kinda seems opposite of what his whole appearance would allow and I wanted a contrasting character like that)

Hark - Explosive Gay

Did you design them with any other characters/OCs from their universe in mind?

I looked at the current designs they had for Galra and went “I can do better” and proceeded to do better.

How did you choose their name?

Random but also something that seemed to fit them you know?

In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts?

I think in later chapters I’ll be showing their origins so to speak and how their society viewed them and in turn shaped them into the badasses they are presently

Is there any significance behind their hair color?

Nah

Is there any significance behind their eye color?

With Theryk there is and I can’t wait to showcase it ahhhh

Is there any significance behind their height?

Min’ak - With her there kinda is, I’m hoping in the next two chapters to fully show how she uses that to her advantage in fights and how it makes her a formidable opponent. (You guys already know she’s good at the sneaking and silent kills but there’s other stuff too and I plan to have her in a fight)

Neevah - She’s just a few inches taller than Lance, She’s sort of second in command of their team I guess.

Ruge - I just wanted a tiny lesbian fucking shit up

Theryk - I wanted a tol boy, also wanted to show the contrast between his body type and the skills he possess which will be seen later I guess.

What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story?

Min’ak - Would also kill someone if they so much as insulted Lance

Neevah - Also loves the tiny lesbian

Ruge - Would also like to blow shit up

Theryk - Quiet gay

Hark - Super quiet gay except gayer than the first quiet gay

Are they based off of you, in some way?

Tol and gay mostly

If they have an LI, how much of their character is tailored to be compatible to that person?

Min’ak - She doesn’t have anyone

Neevah - She’s crushing on Ruge big time

Ruge - Also has a crush on dragon lesbian but keeps it professional...or as professional as Ruge can

Theryk & Hark - They both kinda compliemtn each other naturally I guess? When I first made these two they weren’t gonna be together but I read over their behaviors I had in my head and thought it’d be interesting to portray them as such so i did

Did you know what the OC’s sexuality would be at the time of their creation?

Not straight lmao

What have you found to be most difficult about creating art for your OC (any form of art: writing, drawing, edits, etc.)?

Actually trying to get myself to do a fullbody scale line up of all of them

How far past the canon events that take place in their world have you extended their story, if at all?

I plan on extending it to low torso’s return, which should be fun considering I’m planning a fight scene between a general of his and one of Lance’s team.

If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?

If they’re non-human keep that in mind or else things get weird considering body movement. (That’s why the tunnel scene with Min’ak was a bit of a meh with me since I had to take into fact consideration that her limbs would make her look like some demented possessed child crawling through the vents)

What is something about your OC can make you laugh?

Min’ak - You know those cute little dolphin clicks??? Those are her sounds. That and they range from woodpecker to The Grudge type clicks lmao, sweet dreams.

Neevah - She’s called dragon lesbian for a reason, not the reason you might be thinking though, but it does have something to do with fire.

Ruge - She barely reaches Lance’s chin but will fight everyone and can fight you and win.

Theryk - Giant bat eared knife gay (I’m still laughing over this)

Hark - ???

What is something about your OC can make you cry?

Min’ak - Her appearance has always troubled people growing up so she has little to no one she views as a friend, which is probably why she’s so devoted to Lance. (I’ll get on that in the story later, or do origin parts, who knows.)

Neevah - Hmmm don’t know

Ruge - ???

Theryk - ???

Is there some element you regret adding to your OC or their story?

Min’ak - She’s perfect

Neevah - Flawless

Ruge - Perfection

Theryk - Absolutely beautiful

Hark - Never done a damn thing wrong in his life

What is the most recent thing you’ve discovered about your OC?

Min’ak - Her limbs are apparently longer than an average human’s lifespan

Neevah - “Talk shit get hit”

Ruge - “Watch your ankles”

Theryk - “Will cut you”

Hark - “Cinnamon roll that will definitely fucking kill you“

What is your favorite fact about your OC?

Min’ak - 

Neevah - She’s cold-blooded in a sense that she stores heat from external sources and can use that to her advantage. She has a higher core temperature because of it though and can overheat quickly, while she’s good to go in cold weather she has trouble cooling down if she overheats.

Ruge - Likes taking things apart, putting them back together, and destroying them after. Her favorite pastime is taking live grenades apart and putting them back together in record time. It makes most people feel uneasy.

Theryk - His ears are really sensitive and can sense any pressure/temp change sin the environment on top of being able to hear the blood rushing your veins.

Hark - He’s mute to a point, can make some sounds and words but it’s too quiet for really anyone but Theryk to hear.
