Just seen the first episode of #WildIsles from earlier, a spectacular and rousing start. I am obviously very passionate about our wildlife and appreciate it’s spectacle and wonder that rivals that of anywhere in the world as I am fortunate to see it often. I was hoping there would be a documentary on this scale about it one day, and it’s very much needed now. Wonderful footage and engaging tales. It is important of course that the threats to nature, state of nature and impacts of our actions are highlighted too. It was mesmerising to watch. Alongside seeing three of my favourite birds Puffin, Gannet and Kingfisher featured my highlights were the fascinating Lords and Ladies piece, the Orcas, the dazzling Demoiselles, the Dormouse especially feeding on the honeysuckle and the epic White-tailed Eagle and Barnacle Goose piece. Good to see a few places I know/have been shown too such as Skomer Island, the Farne Islands, Bass Rock and the Cairngorms. https://www.instagram.com/p/CptRJSgqMRV/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Thrilled to finally let you know about my most recent (and very exciting) collaboration with @rspb_love_nature and @wwf_uk 😊 - I’ve been dying to tell you about this for ages! The Wild Isles Collection is released in celebration of the @bbc television series, Wild Isles. This landmark natural history series, presented by Sir David Attenborough and co-produced by WWF, RSPB, The Open University and Silverback Films captures the beautiful and diverse landscape of our home as never seen before. Together with WWF and RSPB I was asked to create a design for an exclusive range of beautiful products including mugs, cushions, scarves and bags to be sold on the WWF website. The colourful design celebrates two heroes of our wild isles – the mighty oak and the captivating starling. Every product has been sustainably and ethically sourced and 100% of the profits from the range will go towards helping vital species and habitats across the UK. So grateful for the wonderful opportunity and being asked to be part of an incredible cause. I’m thrilled with how it looks on the products, I hope you love them too! You can view the entire range by clicking the ‘wild isle range’ button in my bio link - tell me what you think! I'd love to know! #bbcwildisles #wildisles #collaboration #starlingdesign #starlingmurmuration #oaktreeleaves https://www.instagram.com/p/CpuffJroPsU/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Listening to singing mushrooms on @cerys6music this morning while it’s playtime in the studio. Looking forward to watching Wild Isles about the beauty of nature in the British Isles and I WILL be watching that “6th episode” too - so any right wing Tories out there can go do one. In the meantime, here’s some work in progress - I found a hand painted cabochon of a young lady recently and I’ve framed it in a filigree bezel and just about to connect it to this pretty vintage key. The necklace will be suspended from reclaimed chain and decorated with lost treasures. . . . #wildisles #handpaintedcabochon #vintagekey #assemblageart #lostandfound #singingmushrooms #myceliummusic #salvagedinspirations #collagejewelry #talismanjewelry #toriesout #potterybeads #ceramicjewelry (at Harrowby, Lincolnshire) https://www.instagram.com/p/CpsFHFDIwku/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
