Wilde family tree (DM AU)

A version on the left was edited in Ibis Paint X, gray icons belong to deceased members of the family.

The orinal version is on the right.

I didn't include Scarlet's, Eliot's, Evelyn's and Damien's parents + Belle's and the Gru's girls' biological parents. These non-included characters aren't very important in my AU, they're all deceased, I don't even have names for them, as well as the app wouldn't show them the way I would like to.

I included Wild Knuckles' and Nora's parents, mainly because I have at least some small details to them.

Despicable Minions (DM AU) - Another dilemma approached... (Wild Knuckles)

Do you know that feeling when you've just solved one problem in your AU and eventually realized there's another, even bigger one?

I've been searching on Google lately and randomly came across this wiki site:

I'm not 100% sure wheater or not is the information true but it's stated there that Wild Knuckles is Marlena's dad.

No need to be worried tough, I have a plan and I am NOT GOING TO REWRITE INFO/BACKSTORY TO WILD KNUCKLES IN MY AU! At least for now...

So, here is my solution:

If you read one of my previous posts, you'll find an information that Gru in my AU was lying about his name to look better among villains and he did the same with his connection to Henry Wilde/Wild Knuckles:

Gru's maternal grandfather had the same name and surname as Wild Knuckles but he was just some very rich guy (he wasn't a supervillain like Madeleine), unlike Gru's idol.

Also, Wild Knuckles was pretty private about his family (even Belle didn't know all his relatives - she only knew Knuckles' son and daughter-in-law through TV and the newspaper) and the fact Gru viewed him as his grandfather made him feel happier, so it was no surprise that he agreed on Gru saying in the villainous public that his grandpa is none other than Wild Knuckles.

Actually, Gru's whole family tree is a fake one made by Marlena to hide the fact who Gru's father and brother are.

Some other differences between Gru's biological grandfather and Wild Knuckles in my AU:

Gru's grandfather had black hair and blue eyes and Wild Knuckles had ginger hair and brown eyes;

Gru's grandfather didn't know his wife is a villain, Nora (Wild Knuckles' wife in my AU) was aware of it (and she was slightly connected to villainy, as well);

Gru's grandfather had a daughter and two grandsons (obviously) and Wilde Knuckles had one son (Herb) and two granddaughters (Ruby and Bianca) - I don't count Belle simply because she's not related by blood to Wild Knuckles;

Their outfits were also far way different: Gru's grandfather was an uptight man with a royalty, wealthy-like style while Wild Knuckles had much more modern-styled outfit preferences - this also includes their signature colors, which were blue (Gru's grandfather) and red (Wild Knuckles).

I know I already sent an ask but I was wondering if you could do a little info for wilds parents

I'll probably reveal more later, as I'm going to adjust the Wilde family tree after Despicable Me 4 will be released, but I can show you this:

Wild Knuckles'/Henry Wilde's dad Ronan (a.k.a. Knuckles) was Irish, he was born in 1880 and died in 1922 (he got in an argument with a different villain and lost the fight). He and his family were one of the families with a long villainous tradition, although they weren't known in the public (most of their villainous work was done anonymously).

Ronan was ginger with green eyes - in my AU, Henry was ginger before his hair turned white, so he got this gene from his dad.

Wild Knuckles'/Henry Wilde's mom Beatrix (née Müller) was German, born in 1878 and died in 1915 (she died of a sickness). She was born and raised in an orphanage without knowing who her parents were, so finding someone who would care about her became one of her greatest goals... Unsurprisingly, she was more than happy when she met Ronan and the two of them fell in love.

Beatrix was a blondie with brown eyes - Henry inherited her eye color.
