The family of 43-year-old #WilliamGreen gathered Tuesday morning near where Green was shot & killed by a Prince George’s County Police officer last night. They are angry and demanding answers. “We want to know why our loved one was brutally shot in a police car, handcuffed, seatbelted, & in the front seat,” said Sandra Mathis, William Green’s fiancé. Police say they found Green at about 9 p.m. Monday night on Winston Street in Temple Hills. They were responding to 911 calls about a car slamming into parked vehicles. By the time police arrived, Green had passed out behind the wheel. Police say that Green hit a total of six cars before he passed out behind the wheel. Officers suspected he was on PCP and neighbors watched while he was put in handcuffs. PGPD now say they "do not believe PCP was involved." The officer who shot Green, Ofc. Michael Owen Jr., was arrested at his home and taken into custody, then charged with second degree murder and manslaughter. PGPD addressed those charges at a Tuesday press conference, which you can watch below. ABC7 News has learned Owen is a 10-year veteran and this is his third shooting incident, including one in 2011 when he shot & killed an armed man. At some point after Green's arrest, sources say that Owen got in the driver’s seat next to Green and radioed that Green needed to use a bathroom. Those sources say Owen & Green then got into some sort of altercation, & the officer shot Green 7 times. “They shot my son & it’s not right,” Green’s grief-stricken mother, Brenda Green, said. “How you gonna shoot somebody sitting in a front seat of a car in handcuffs & with a seat belt on? Why would you do that?” Green’s fiancé said over & over that it makes no sense. “We have questions that’s not being answered. We want to get to the bottom of this.” William Green’s family says there can be no good explanation for this shooting. “I have concluded that what happened last night is a crime,” said Chief Hank Stawinski. According to WSB-TV, homicide detectives are investigating the deadly home invasion that took place last week. A 911 call came in around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, with a woman reporting that someone had broken into her house and that she had shot and killed the intruder. The woman, identified as #ShaquitaGreen, said that she didn’t know the man who came into her house in the middle of the night, but she wasn’t having it when the armed man threatened to kill her three #children. “It was either him or me, and I wasn’t going. My kids weren’t going to get hurt and they weren’t going to see me get hurt,” she said. Green said the man, whom authorities later identified as 27-year-old #KeandreFunches, kept asking for her husband, #WilliamGreen, who wasn’t home at the time. After Funches forced the family back into the house, Shaquita Green was able to reach for her gun, she said. “That’s when I stepped in front of them and said, ‘You don’t have to do all of that,’” Green said. When #police arrived, Funches was dead at the scene. Police canvassed the area and spoke to the neighbors. Green and her husband, who arrived just minutes after the shooting, were taken away for questioning while other family members took the three children. “The small children are now in the care of other family members, and as just normal protocol, the female is now at the Police Department being interviewed by our detectives,” Chuck McPhilamy, a Marietta, Ga., police public information officer, told the news station. In addition, police arrested a second man, Javarian Mitchell, whom authorities say brought Funches to the Green home. Police said that the two suspects came to the home to meet another person who lived there. Losing a breath from within and not from someone taking it from you of what I know to lose my breath of anxiety, panic attacks, palpitations, with fear of not being able to breath is one I fear How does it feel to you when You lost a breath, to not be able to grasp air of an exhale? This recent egregious police killing George Floyd was very hard to watch via media, and to be honest watching all sensitive content is.  know I am one to pop off when I see something that isn’t right, I can’t speak on why the surrounding people just stand and watch I couldn’t, A brutal violent act! I know I cant just stand there or walk away, I can’t comprehend and speak on anyone else but if I am face front in the realm of it.

If this was a stranger, friend or my son, I’m sorry I would have to be killed too for stepping up and attempting to help someone! 

I know there are Good People, I know we have officials that are fighting to protect the people, but many are out there failing us, not protecting the Human Rights, The decision makers, The Leadership and President is is just a disgust of what the World in a constant torment of Pain, Evil, Hate, Racism, discrimination, poverty, And so much more. A prayer to release from the sin poison of Racism and our dependence on violence to solve our ills. Unfair Racial Acts and Thoughts have taken the root in the Hearts of people of humanity. Of all the feels, we must be the cure to release and unite. The poisonous threads are hurting us ALL! The ominous threats have taken power to beyond control!
