Nacho and Troy's choice of cars are really interesting, I always loved the bootlegger in game it's so much fun to drive in! do you by chance have refs on what their cars look like?
Thank you! Nacho’s car is a 1969 Dodge Charger. It was originally orange but is rusted down in SR1. In SR2 it is fully restored to a pink/orange/purple iridescent paint. (The “oil slick” paint option in SR1.) His is modified with a rollbar, windowmesh, racing seats + 4-point seatbelts, etc, for dragracing.
In SR1 and 2, the Bootlegger is most definitely modeled after this car. Like, 100% definitely. I’d bet on it.
I gave Troy a “Vegas,” but took the liberty of making the inspiration a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. It’s plum purple and looks just like this:
That was my own addition; the Vegas is more than likely not this car, but eh. I figured they’d have similar tastes, but I also wanted them both to quietly fawn over each other’s really cool cars because of it.
