biography:

Eleanor was born into wealth, growing up she never had to worry about anything and she always got what she wanted. it was basically tradition to become a lawyer in the Sinclair family, and then marry someone from law school. her parents had done it, same with her grandparents. she and her siblings were expected to do the same so there was a certain pressure on her growing up to do well, and get good grades. Elle would never admit it but she never felt good enough. Eleanor avoided college for a year after she finished high school, she promised her parents she would go once she had traveled the world and that’s exactly what she did.

at 19 she left for New York and enrolled in law school. quite frankly, she struggled with all the work - it wasn’t that she wasn’t smart enough because she was it was because she really didn’t want to be there. She stuck it out and even met a boy in her second year and that’s when she finally believed maybe she could get through. usually she wasn’t the type to be dependent on someone but that’s very much how their relationship was - they went every where together. yet, somehow he still found the time to cheat on her. she was in her last year when they she found out by snooping through his Snapchat and finding numerous explicit messages.

a month or two later she was sitting on her bathroom floor staring at a positive pregnancy test. her world was falling apart and she couldn’t even bring herself to tell her ex about the baby growing in her stomach - she didn’t even want the baby growing in her stomach. but the universe had other plans - a week after finding out she was in hospital undergoing emergency surgery due to an ectopic pregnancy.

after that Ellie was quick to drop out of college even though she only had a semester left. her family were extremely disappointed and was too stubborn to even share with them what had happened aside from the breakup, so she returned home. Jacob Carmichael grew up in the lap of luxury in Manhattan, the only son of two high-profile power players. His mother, Vivienne Hartford is a world-renowned interior designer whose firm designs extravagant mansions and high end hotels for millionaires and billionaires.
