Requesting south essay 3 for WIP Wednesday please

Looked through one issue of the newspaper and got 5 useful articles. This would be great except I have to go through three months of this daily newspaper. And I need to go home before I can do more cause I left my glasses, boo. But anyway, you can also have a snippet of First Oath, a new story I'm working on as of today:

The training field was different today. Not in the usual way—no additional obstacles in the ring, no strange weapons on the rack. What was strange was outside the ring. A spectator’s chair. Keir had never had spectators before.

Please oh please, do you have any links to any good Piett fics? I saw your URL and thought maybe you would know of some, if any exist.

Some do, in fact, exist, anon! Some even focus on him, while others include him as an interesting background character. Under the cut are what I could find that I’d saved for one reason or another. Fair warning: I haven’t read some of these in a long time, but I’ll provide either the author’s summary or my own opinion for each.

Distorted Reality Nexus: This plane was constructed by Eldrithax, a being made primarily of magic whose powers have never been fully understood, except by the clerics it created. Until recently, it had used its powers to create a Kingdom as a foothold on the Material Plane. But a year ago, the part of its consciousness on the Material Plane was trapped within a 1 mile radius of the portal between the Nexus and the plane. This event killed everyone within that radius. That portal then collapsed because there was not a beacon on the other side, dividing its consciousness perhaps permanently. The survivors of the destroyed Kingdom are all connected to Eldrithax due to living in a center of its power, and thus also connected to its plane.
