I truly should try to finish that crossover fic, downside for me is that it’ll be so so long and I haven’t written anything that long in…uhhhhh well a long time.
#like there’s so much so many parts#gotta get Clive to talk to sib and demos more one on one and impart their wisdom unto him#have him react to the world a bit and witness this like impossible dream to him#have some of his memories come back and explain a bit of where he’s from#and then there’s the fight with ifrit and acceptance of his truth to get through#only to then end it with Clive making it back and processing it#with the unknown factor of including Eastpool or not#but like gah it’s so so important to me personally for the WoLs and Clive to meet because of the WoLs having finished#a big hero arc answering the question presented in xvi at that point in time meeting Clive who’s just#a year older than sib when she started her arc and like just the cyclical nature of being heroes and doing good#and sowing more seeds that they’ll never see and just#like Clive deserves to have this first glimpse into what it’s like to choose how to live and just why it should be fought for#because xiv world isn’t perfect either and it’s suffered so much and it more than likely will have more suffering in the future#but like having a good life even if it’s temporary is something to fight for and strive for and continuing to have the choice to try and#make it better for those that come after like just so important to me#it goes beyond just the whole shards meeting one another for funsies (though that is a factor too it’s just secondary)
