BUT i agree that performance of femininity is a huge part of celebrity. how could they not be? celebrities only exist by upholding the status quo. naturally their appearance and performances would adhere to that. beauty norms are extremely narrow and white supremacist, so it's even worse/harder for Black women and other woc to be accepted.
