Briefly re-aliving to share something

Me and a friend of mine were talking about Care Bears (specifically Adventures in Care-a-lot) and had the idea to make our own little Care Bears plot, and I really wanted to design the belly badges.

There's still a few more bears I wanna draw badges for but I think this is a good amount of character for now lol

As Grumpy becomes Grumpy Bear Nexus, his appearance and powers draw comparisons to legendary heroes like Goku. Known now as the Windmaster, Grumpy possesses the ability to master the four elements, wielding a gun and sword, riding his horse, and confronting monstrous foes. Grumpy is the 168th Windmaster, with the mantle of his powers passed on to the next bearer upon his demise.

Together with Dawn, Grumpy ventures across Mars, facing formidable enemies and navigating treacherous landscapes, determined to save Share and safeguard his newfound community. His journey is a relentless battle against darkness, filled with courage, elemental mastery, and the enduring hope that love and unity can prevail even in the fiercest of wars.

Shreeky: Oh! Uncle Noheart found the good eggnog

Shreeky: *turns to Bluster* Bluster, is the eggnog good?

Bluster: Umm.. I'll.. I'll go check? *gets up and walks to the kitchen*

Bluster *from the kitchen*: I- I'm about to try it! Uhhh.... *takes a sip of it*

AUHHGH!!! *drops the carton*

* Everyone looks over to the kitchen in surprise and concern *

*Bluster starts violently gagging and spits into the sink*

Noel: *Pauses the game* Are you okay, dude!?

Bluster: *falls over, supporting himself against the wall coughing violently*

* Everyone stares in silence *

Beastly: Somebody needs to help this guy, I think that stuff was expired!!

Bluster: GAHHOH SWEET MOTHER OF THE SILVER LINING!!! *stumbles out of the kitchen*

*Robbie comes in to see what all the yelling is about*

Shreeky: Oh! Oh no!

*Bluster slams the bathroom door behind himself*

Noel: *turns to everyone* He just shut himself into the bathroom, guys. Oh no.

Robbie: What was all that about!?

Noheart: Shreeky prompted your boss to taste test eggnog I found in the refrigerator that we now know is WAY over the expiration date.

Shreeky: it didn't even look like he was just being dramatic about it

Beastly: *looks at the live chat* "Bruno Argrehtta" suggests that we toss that eggnog out right now.

Robbie: Y-y'know what? I'm gonna go do that. Oh my God! Wow!!

How tall are UTM care bears supposed to be compared to humans? I used to consider Robbie and Bluster to be human-sized and so bears slightly shorter but sometimes people make art of UTM care bears in which the bears are very short like a human toddler's height perhaps. Also who is the baby/kid care bear in unlock the music (the pink one with heart belly badge, appears in the dream bright one I think)?

I think some other people have done some deep dives into trying to figure out exactly how big Care Bears would be in real life based on the shows. I don't remember what they've said and I'm not the greatest at analyzing it, but I'll give my overall opinion. What's interesting is that you don't get to see Care Bears interact with real adults too much in the shows. This makes sense since they're geared towards kids and seeing things from their perspectives. Besides, kids are more likely to believe that the Care Bears would be real and would listen to them. So most of the time we see the Bears next to kids. I'll use True Heart talking to John and Dawn as a good example. John and Dawn are supposedly around 5th grade age. The top of True Heart's head seems to just about go up to their chest levels. So I would guess in the movie, True Heart might be around 3 feet tall. It's interesting because my mind doesn't think of them as being that short. I'm an adult (around 5' 9''), and I think about them coming up to MY chest. But, I also like to imagine them as being the most cuddly size possible. So on one hand, I like them to be bigger because there's more to hug. But, it's also nice for them to be smaller since they would be easier to pick up and cuddle. I've never heard of adult Care Bears being toddler-sized, though. I think if someone was viewing them that way, it's probably because they're used to having Care Bear plushies, which usually are much smaller. And the plushies are a great cuddle size. So it might be that they're viewing them that way. As far as the UtM Bears go....we never see them next to any real humans, so I just imagine that they're the same size as the Nelvana and DiC versions. I pretty much view all Care Bear versions as being the same size. So that's my take on the idea. Oh, and finally....the pink cub/little Bear is Wonderheart. She was introduced in the 3-D version of Care Bears, Welcome to Care A Lot. It came out around 2012/2013. It was the version between Adventures in Care A Lot and UtM. There are a lot of videos of it on youtube, and also all of the epsiodes are on the site Planet Fun.

New CB:UTM Specials Thoughts

I wanted to give my thoughts on the upcoming Care Bears: Unlock The Magic specials...

First, i'm happy and excited that after a year they're FINALLY releasing them.

Second, i want to address the change in Grumpy's voice. Personally, i'm not too crazy about it, though based on Harry Chaskin (Bedtime Bear's VA) reportedly leaving the show for other work, i wouldn't be too, too surprised. I'd say IF the change is permanent (hope not), give it a chance. I find Grumpy's VA from JtJ and BWM to be the worst IMO, mainly because in those films, he sounds very whiney and complainey, more than what's expected from the character, but that's just me.

They say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", but i'm hoping it's just a British dub and not permanent. EITHER WAY, i'm excited to see these specials. MAYBE we FINALLY get to see Wonderheart played out in them, even if she's just a side character that helps out through the plot(s) or something to that effect.
