7. As a writer, what do you appreciate the most when someone is reading your work?

hmmm for me its definitely having others reblog my work w notes or tags. a few people have even annotated my fics which is proably the biggest compliment i could ever receive! i appreciate it sm and it makes feel like those 50 something or more hours i spend writing is worth it all :D

11. What is your process when you are writing or reading?

for writing: i tend to brainstorm a concept first then choose which member i feel like would fit the fic the most. i also base a lot of my fics off real life experiences that i had (seungcheol's letters and in front of me being a few of those fics)

for reading: i don't really have a process per se, i kinda just read whatever im feeling in that moment hehe

12. If you could choose three fanfic writers to have dinner with, who would they be?

oooh i like this question a lot... for me personally it would def be @junkissed, @onlymingyus, and @chocosvt (choco is a fellow canadian hehehe 😁🇨🇦, i too write in british spelling if u haven't noticed :p)

18. On a scale of one to five stars, what would you rate yourself as a writer?

erm theres so many really good writers on here and there are many times i doubt my writing but i think im at least a solid 2.5/5 stars muehhehe

oh this is embarassing 😭 i think the first fandom i started reading fanfic for was o2l (if anyones old enough to rmbr them) and 5sos. LOL i was a huge 5sos stan btw i even went to their concert when i was 12 hehe.

23. Do you brainstorm your fanfics or plan as you write?

i usually do both! i brainstorm for a bit to get an idea of what i want for the plot. i almost always have a solid idea of how i want to start off the fic and then also how i kinda want to end it. everything in the middle is up to god tbh (and my brain) muehehhe

Lemme yap a bit. Sooooo compared to a lot of ppl, i have my wips on a Notion kanban. Like the raw drafts mindless writing brain dumps go straight to Notion. Then i load them on Grammarly for copyedits. When i want them beta-ed, they get transferred to Google Docs. And yes, for every edit, they ALL get adjusted.

These are stuff i plan to write and share this yr that i rly hope i get to see through, especially the series. It will DEF be a challenge but i am willing to take it on. Some of these were written before i started posting fics on caratblr so i am editing to post them....someday. Those erased are collabs already in the works but i dont know if i can post abt them yet soooo keeping them secret for now hehe.

Along with this i have a LOOOONG LONG list of just random ideas that dont even have an inkling to them yet. But im keeping them in a safe place for the future hehe

As a writer, what do you appreciate the most when someone is reading your work?

First of all, I am always SO SO appreciative when people take the time out of their day to read my stuff. That in itself is a true honor. Beyond that I love and value feedback. Reblogging with comments, leaving just comments, or sending in asks with what they thought. That little boost of knowing what people loved or thought about what you've written is SUCH a HUGE boost to inspiration and can sometimes help push through the next project.

If you could choose three fanfic writers to have dinner with, who would they be?

This is super cute! I want to have dinner with all of @svthub honestly, but individuals -- @junkissed ofc! My baby, my love, my rock. Without June there would be no Mars, you all can be sure of that. @wonustars, you ofc my sweet Anna. I think we would have so much fun at dinner and I wanna hug you so much. And my third would HAVE to be @onlyseokmins. My beautiful, sweet, talented, genius Elp. Because seriously without Elv I would not even be in caratland. She found me as I was getting into Seventeen and squealed about DK with me and we are still stuck at the hip.

What is a line from a fanfic you have read that has stuck with you?

6. What got you into writing fanfics?

hmmm i’ve been writing from a very young age tbh… embarrassingly enough my first ever fic was an o2l fic 😭😭 i can’t believe im even saying that on here but yeah 😟 i fear i was about 10 years old at the time.

for wonustars specifically though (which started off as a txt only writing blog), i began posting on here last year around may because my bestfriend convinced me to start writing my own fics. and honestly im so grateful that she encouraged me to do so because i wouldn’t have started writing again in the first place 🥹 she and a few other of my irl friends were so supportive hehe and a year and some months later i met so many ppl cuz of this blog!! it’s weird how much my blog grew in just the span of the year but i don’t regret it at all :3 everyone i’ve encountered has been nice so far and im very grateful 💗

9. What new genres/tropes would you be open to writing/reading?

honestly i’m okay with writing a lot of things but idt i could write a/b/o, hybrid, idol!aus, or much fantasy stuff (a harry potter!au would be fun to write tho) i usually stick to mundane plots 😭 ig im a little boring but i like writing real life situations from some reason. but i do like reading fantasy tho :3 not so much hybrid or a/b/o it’s just not my cup of tea hehe but i am not one to judge :) to each their own yknow. i also want to branch out into darker plots like murder/mystery and stuff like that but i have too many wips to even think of doing that rn :p

13. If you could choose a playlist for your stories or any fics you have read, what would it be?

i actually made a spotify specifically so i could share playlists for my fics and the only one up rn is for the upcoming wonwoo fic but i plan to add playlists for my older works too!

hmmmm this is kind of hard because i don’t usually read based off tropes but more off the summary 🤔 but if there’s one trope i get excited to see it’s def perv!any member heheh. i also never skip enemies to lovers either hehe and best friends to lovers.

8. If you could rewrite one thing you have written, what would it be?

omg this is hard cuz i really would say most of my fics i want to rewrite 😭 if i could choose it just one it would probably be “Seungcheol’s Letters” i genuinely don’t know how it has 3k notes because every-time i re read it i have to stop after a few minutes because there’s a lot of mistakes in the second person narrative like reading it back made me cringe 😿 also the plot progression and main conflict is ass i’m ngl 🔥 i fear im my worst critic lol but i think its nice how people still love to read it 🥹💗 if i had the time i would def rewrite a better version of it hehe :p.

sorry for the Seungcheol's Letters slander i geinunely cringe reading it now and i remember i felt rushed writing it because it was my first really long fic on my blog. i wanna go back and develop the plot more as well as give the characters more life.

so this idea was born after i saw a t*ktok from booktok (horrid cursed corner of the internet which i do not support) — however it immediately reminded me of shua and i was like well fuck i love it now i need to write this. i'll put a screenshot and explain below the cut!

alt: "when the good boy preacher's son agrees to make *fake* videos with you as revenge, yet it sure feels real when he tells you..." (then the next line is just generic porn dialogue, it's not important but the setting was what intrigued me)

the idea is basically exactly as the caption says: reader's boyfriend "accidentally" sends her a video of him cheating on her, so best friend!joshua suggests that they record their own video and "accidentally" send it back to him as revenge.

tbh this is one i've been struggling to finish the most because i don't like the idea of sharing/leaking nudes or personal videos, so i've been stuck on how to avoid making it really dark since theoretically the ex-bf could do some really malicious things with it and that personally makes me really uncomfy to think about. but i'm trying to remind myself that it's my silly little fictional world and i could just kill him off if i wanted to 👩‍💻

i do plan on finishing this one but it probably won't be for a while until i've had time to sit with the idea and get comfortable with it and figure out how to write it the way i want. like i love the concept and it's 100% something i'd read and enjoy, but i don't wanna get ahead of myself and rush it just to finish it and then end up cringing every time i reread it lmao
