Secretaria de Saúde esclarece sobre as zoonoses – Jornal Boa Vista e Rádio Cultura 105.9 Fm

A Prefeitura de Erechim, através da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde e do Setor de Vigilância em Saúde (VISA) realizará uma série de reportagens sobre as zoonoses. Nesta semana o assunto abordado é a Esporotricose. Conforme explica a médica veterinária da Secretaria de Saúde, Arieli Zibetti França, as zoonoses são doenças transmitidas dos animais para os seres humanos ou vice-versa e, a esporotricose é um exemplo desse tipo de doença.

“A esporotricose é causada pelo fungo do gênero Sporothrix, um fungo encontrado no ambiente, como por exemplo no solo, nas árvores, palhas, vegetais, espinhos e madeiras. Fungo comumente encontrado em jardins, hortas e árvores onde os gatos gostam de afiar as unhas. Popularmente conhecida como doença do jardineiro, por afetar as pessoas que possuem contato direto com a terra”, explica a médica veterinária.

Os felinos são os animais mais acometidos devido ao seu comportamento de escalar, arranhar e marcar o território. “O gato contaminado acaba contaminando os outros gatos durante as disputas e demais interações. O fungo permanece na árvore ou vegetação, podendo contaminar outros animais e humanos. O gato doente apresenta lesões de pele, no início parecem pequenos machucados, que evoluem para feridas, ficam apáticos (tristes), perdem o apetite, tem febre e secreção nasal”, pontua Arieli Zibetti França.

Tratamento

O tratamento para a doença é longo, podendo chegar a um ano e com valor elevado, tanto para humanos quanto para os animais. Os animais acometidos devem ser isolados até o final do tratamento, para evitar a contaminação dos outros animais e dos humanos que possam entrar em contato direto com o animal doente.

“A esporotricose é uma doença de difícil tratamento em felinos, pois a medicação deve ser administrada por via oral diariamente e os proprietários precisam utilizar luvas ou protetores para impedir a contaminação pela arranhadura”, destaca a médica veterinária.

Prevenção

A prevenção consiste em impedir que os gatos tenham acesso à rua e principalmente evitar as disputas de território com outros gatos. “As brigas disseminam diversas doenças entre os gatos. A castração é uma forma de prevenção, pois diminui o risco de fugas e de brigas por território. Outro ponto é a utilização de luvas para trabalhos em locais com matéria orgânica (hortas e jardins) pois essa é a principal forma de prevenção para humanos. Importante destacar que é preciso procurar atendimento veterinário sempre que o seu animalzinho apresentar sintomas ou comportamento diferente do habitual, em caso de lesões em humanos, procure atendimento médico”, finaliza a médica veterinária da Secretaria de Saúde.

Mais um grave acidenthe de trânsito for Registrado na Tarde Desta Quarta-Fira (7), na Ers-135. Desta Vez o Fato Ocorreu Próximo a Conhecida “Ponte Seca”, Em Passo Fundo e Envolveu Três Veículos Deixando Uma Vícima Fatal.

Os veículos enxuolvidos são duas carretas e um gm/onix. Segundo Informações Preliminares, o Condutor de Uma Das Carretas Perdeu O Controle da Direção, Fazendo que Que Ela Ficasse Em “L”. Onix, Que Trafegava No Sentido Oposto Chocou-Se Frontalmente e Ea Ultima Carreta Que Seguia No Sentido Passo Fundo Não Consuguiu Parar e Acabou Colidindo na Lateral Do Baú.

O Condutor do Onix, Que Estava Sozinho, Não Resistiu aos Ferimentos e Veio Morreu Não Local. O Condutor de Uma Das Carretas Teve Fratura Exposta Em Um dos Braços.
