How I found hosting for my new website
All of these days I was looking for an affordable WordPress hosting for my new website. Almost all of the big companies from the market have great hosting offers, but from my past experience with them, I’ve had to pass on them.
So, before I present you my choice, I will tell you what I was looking for. I’ve already bought the new hosting on a 3 years period ( and the price is very good ), but I am also open for better suggestions, because I am able to invest and test new ways, because I want all the best for my website.
The hosting specifications I was looking for are: FAST, AFFORDABLE and SECURED. Also, the server must not be down all the time and the support team should provide answers to my questions and problems very fast. So, at the suggestion of someone from Reddit, I’ve went to WebHostingTalk ( or something like that ). I’ve found a lot of very good offers ( SSD, LiteSpeed Web Server, Free SSL, maybe even something special designed for WordPress websites ), but a new idea came in my mind: If a server is so populated, the work for the hardware will be elbow-grease.
The next movement was to find a company which offers these hosting specifications, but that company don’t have too much clients. I’ve suppose you know what is mean for a website owner to host his website on a shared server, with hundreds of other websites - some of them, maybe, used for illegal activities. I’ve even alocated more $ per month for the winning guy.
The choice for my new hosting website is this: WordPress Hosting 2019 .
Well, this website provides all the things I was looking for: A Fast, Affordable, Secured and not so populated server where I can host my website files. And the speed of the server is great. From the WebHostingTalk ( the place were I found this website ), the following hosting specs were presented: Cloud Linux OS, LiteSpeed Web Server, Cloudflare + w/Railgun ( very good, at this price ), Maria DB, everything hosted on Pure and Not Populated SSD server. A really awesome thing!
Like I’ve said, I’ve already bought the 5GB package ( the second one, $55/year ) on the period of 3 years, but I am also open for ( maybe ) better offers. I am dissapointed about the big companies because the lack of support, not 99,9999% uptime ( like they said ). Also, one of my websites were hosted with other 5000 websites. Some of them were PBN’s, so my website was on risk. Now, I hope everything will be fine.
