I'm so lazy to actually write this but imagine like this Solangelo AU where Cecil drags Will to this bar to pick up "sugar daddies" or basically rich people because they're desperate??

They're not gonna do anything explicit just plain stupid. Will is like, an undergrad med student and has pretty high grades, he just doesn't have much money for food and shit so yeah, they get desperate.

But then Will gets guilty, because "man I can't use people for money" and then he runs out, leaving Cecil because he lost him somewhere in the crowd or something wtvr.

And then enter Nico Di Angelo.

Nico knows the kind of persons that enter a bar and look like they barely had any nutrition in their body except instant noodles (which was rich coming from him, but that's because he actually chooses to eat unhealthily) — so basically, college students.

He's not one to judge really, if he did, he wouldn't have met Reyna. Reyna was one of those kind and her reason? Got kicked out simply because she liked a girl. Nico knew upon background check that her family was wealthy, so he approached her and struck a deal.

They found friendship and Reyna found her freedom and stability. To this day, even without his help, she and him are great friends.

But he finds no use to go back to this place again, until of course—

"Somehow," Reyna had once said, "You have a knack for running into good people,"

"So are you saying I should go back to the bar," He deadpans.

"Well, I didn't say a specific location," Reyna says amused.

"You're the only person I actually met and got to know, the others forced their way into my life." Nico rolls his eyes when he hears a shout from the distance.

And so, inevitably, that conversation led to him here. He hung back, not actively looking. Nico's starting to think it's a bad idea. But just when he's starting to head out, a blond guy barrels straight into him.

He scowls in reflex, the guy looks at him with horror and his features make him look as if he just kicked a puppy. His scowl deepens as he grunts,

"I'm fine," He waves a hand,

"Oh my gods, I'm so sorry," Blue eyes flickered down to his side, as if assessing his state. "Are you okay?"

(It was either that or he was checking Nico's worth, and trust him, he didn't make an active effort either to look rich.)

Nico straightens his stance and quirks an eyebrow, "Are you okay?" For good measure, he look behind the boy to see if there was a creepy guy chasing after him (Nico has seen it too many times to happen, and frankly, it was disgusting.)

The blond chuckled, laughing nervously as he scratches the back of his nape, "I'm fine, just looking for an easier way out."

"You found someone already?" Nico is intrigued, it's not everyday that a college student already finds someone willing finance him this early into the evening.

Usually it takes more alcohol to pursuade the other men.

But then again, the blond was...okay-looking. And okay, his fashion sense might as well be worse as Nico's with a flannel thrown over a shirt and khaki shorts worn to a bar but his features could pass for a god. (And the eyes—)For some reason, that thought made him flush.

"Er, not exactly," Blue, they're not ocean blue nor sky blue like Jason's or Thalia's but they're blue like–like gems, Topaz to be exact. "I went in here confident," The blond cringed at that and continued, "And came out guilty." Sighing, "As desperate as I am, money–it's money." He gestures vaguely with his hands.

"I'm not sure I follow." Nico thinks that if someone has more than they need, it wouldn't hurt to give help.

Sighing again, the other boy smiles, "I suppose you wouldn't, you're still here I mean." Blond cocks his head, "So, you found anyone yet?"

Nico is stunned.

Blond thinks he's a college student. Reyna would laugh at him if she heard this story. Well okay, he is a college student but isn't here for the same reasons as this guy.

He's not broke.

"Sorry," The other apologizes for some reason Nico can't figure out. "You're not obligated to answer. Anyway, uh, I'm gonna run?"

"And eat at a convenience store?" Nico can't help but quip.

Blond laughs, "Yeah, probably."

"You're passing up an opportunity to go out and eat in a 5-star restaurant you know."

Nico watches the guy faux think, crossing his arms dramatically as he nods, "Yeah I think I could handle that, could you?"

There was a pause.

The other's blue eyes widened as if he was on a brink of panic reassurance.

"That's not what I meant–you must have your reasons for coming here and I'm not gonna take the opportunity away—

Nico lets out a long insufferable sigh which shuts up the blond. He gives him a look. He turns and calls out,

"Come on, sunshine."

For some reason, he feels as if the blond was grinning behind him, positively beaming as they went to eat MSG at a dingy 7-11.

"I'm Will, by the way."

"Nico," He doesn't notice his own smile.

(His blond hair wasn't that of the color of hay or sand. Not like Jason or that asshole Octavian, another boy born into a rich legacy. This guy's hair was bright, but not enough to rival his smile. His hair looked a little platinum, but still blonde if you looked hard enough. It was like the sun.)

So yeah Will looking for a sugar daddy, finds a Nico instead who he thinks is a broke college student as well and they eat at 711, his treat (his wallet cries) just because he feels the need to take care of the other and because he's inherently good like that. Nico is so fucking amused that he tries to drop subtle hints for Will to pick up on as they progress into friendship but the boy never gets it. Someday, he does reveal it and then like Will finds out about Reyna (cue angst and misunderstandings). A tired Nico tries to subtly drop hints also that he likes Will but Will never gets it. Nico doesn't have the courage to say it, not yet and then HE finds out the actual reason for the need for money (Will is one year away from graduating, works himself to the bones and Nico just—never knew, and the blond thinks of dropping out.) Nico was like NOPE, and this is fucking slowburn. I will never write this but you will pry this plot from my cold and dead hands.

Conxept: Omori properly interacting post-game? You’ve played with the idea before, but I’m thinking a weird dream sequence, maybe? Not sure how that’d work, but it’d be interesting to see the dynamic between them. Sunny cares for his friends in his own way, but...Omori was created to protect Sunny’s mind. Sunny may understand his friend’s actions...but do you suppose Omori might resent them instead? Blame them for Sunny’s mental state during and post-game? Or would he also understand?

omori...omori is such an inchresting character. this has been sitting in my inbox for literally forever now just bc every time i have an idea abt how omori behaves i get Another, Also Interesting idea. theres just so many ways to interpret him....

like, yeah, first and foremost hes there to protect sunny from getting hurt. but hes also not very logical in how he goes about accomplishing that. like. cmon. hes very extreme abt it all.

so the way i see it...omori, as well as being that guardian dude, is also a sort of personification of sunnys anxiety and intrusive thoughts and whatnot. kinda. i know thats also what blackspace is, but i think blackspace is more just sunnys negativity in general than specifically anxiety and thoughts.

i dont think omori would consider blaming the others for leaving sunny alone, bc of the whole "believing himself deserving of isolation" deal or wtvr. tho he might still be bitter abt basil idk. i DO think, however, that omori would try very hard to convince sunny to push his friends away again. i think the possibility of them lying about forgiving him would be a Very Real thing to omori. i think hed urge sunny to say mean shit and drive the others away, yknow, lash out and make them leave before they decide to leave. aubrey style ig. not that i think sunny would actually fall for it - with sunny having won that mental battle for control and all - but like with what i said before, methinks omori is a personification of The Thought. the intrusive little thought to push ppl away before they hurt you.

anyway this is all very messy and incoherent so TLDR:

I don't think Omori resents any of Sunny's friends for the whole isolation thing. That said, if Omori interacted with them, I firmly believe he'd be a little bitch and try to drive them away from Sunny, if only so they never get the chance to ""take back"" their forgiveness and hurt Sunny in that way. His priority is still keeping Sunny safe from hurt; It's just that the way he goes about it changes with Sunny's growth and progress.

Will is kinda falling off the couch and Mike's shirt is riding up,  Jonathan could easily pass for dead with how asleep he is. : end ID]

They fell asleep during a movie btw. Drawing backgrounds is the devil's work you will never catch me doing that shit. Also El made those bracelets Will had one too. There's done things about this drawing that I like and some I don't but wtvr.

I've also got some progress shots (including my fucked up rendition of Will's haircut.  He did not deserve that)

I really like this method for sketching posts of using a huge brush for the first pass and then a pencil type sketch before lineart.

Stranger things characters on a rainy day head canons because I love the rain:

-El sees Will curled up on the couch wrapped up in blankets reading Lord of the Rings so she curls up beside him and asks Will if he would read out loud to her (the Wonder twins spend most of the afternoon this way)

-later in the evening it stars to thunder and lightning which starts effecting both el and Will so to help the kids feel safe and comfortable Joyce makes some hot chocolate while Jonathan puts on a movie and the whole Byers-Hopper family has a movie night all cuddled up together

-Dustin spends his rainy day taking things like alarm clocks and radios apart just so he can put them back together again

-Since they can’t go outside Holly starts getting really bored so Nancy and Mike agree to play a couple rounds of candy land with her

-Holly also gets Mike to play dolls with her

-The cold from the rain makes Will shiver (part from the cold and part from the memory of his possession) Hopper sees his stepson shaking like a leaf and gives him one of his old hoodies that’s way to big for Will but Will loves it (he loves it because it’s warm and because he has a father now who is kind to him)

-late at night the thunder starts to get really bad so Mike,remembering that Will hates thunder, bikes to Wills in the pouring rain and knocks on his window

-Will let’s him in and helps him dry his hair with a towel after asking him what on earth he is doing here and when Mike tells him that he knows Will hates thunderstorms and he wanted to be there for him Will can’t help but fall even more in love with him

-Mike stays the night and they spend it cuddled up together with Mike comforting Will whenever extra loud thunder happens

-Jonathan and El help cover for them in the morning

-Lucas spends his rainy day talking to Max on the phone and playing video games with Erica which leads to them getting a little too carried away and are shushed multiple times throughout the day by their parents

-Steve parents aren’t home and he gets bored being home alone so he goes and picks up Robin and they have a movie day

-For dinner they both try and cook something together but it ends up inedible so they just order pizza

-later that night Max calls El and after talking for hours they both end up falling asleep while still on the phone

-Max spends her rainy day talking to Lucas and El on the phone and reading comics

-Nancy let’s Holly do her makes up and paints Holly’s nails

Hilary Langlois is a white Virginia woman who was fired from her job after she was caught on video telling her Black neighbor, Laquetta Good, she is “not the right color” in a shouting match in Colonial Heights caught on video. Langlois was fired from her job at the Chesterfield Food Bank, the Progress-Index reported. Good identified the woman as Langlois. Good shared clips of the video on Facebook on April 22, 2021. Langlois Was Fired From Her Job

Langlois was fired from her job at the Chesterfield Food Bank following the incident with Good, CEO Kim Hill wrote in a statement on Facebook, which did not identify Langlois by name. She said they were “broken-hearted” about the incident. Langlois’ name was removed from the Chesterfield Food Bank website, which previously listed her as an employee in shipping and receiving. The statement from Hill said: We want to thank everyone for reaching out to us in regards to the video and story that was posted this morning regarding a confrontation between an individual and one of our employees in their neighborhood. We, here at the CFB, are broken-hearted to view this conduct as it goes directly against our values and beliefs. We are honored to serve everyone in need with dignity & integrity. In response to this situation, we have terminated this employee. We remain committed to creating and providing a positive, uplifting, and encouraging environment for our staff, volunteers, and clients. Thank you for your continued support. Hill distanced the food bank from the altercation in an interview with the Progress-Index, saying the incident did not involve work. “It was between neighbors,” Hill said. “It is still sad and an unfortunate situation.” Langlois was wearing an employee badge identifying her by her first name in the video. The newspaper reported she was on her way to work at the time of the incident.

Good Said She Was Afraid to Leave Her House

Good, a mother of two, told the Daily Mail the incident started because their children do not get along. While they have had ongoing confrontations, she said she was surprised the incident turned racial. She said the incident left her feeling trapped in her house. “I feel like a prisoner in my own home,” she told the Daily Mail. “She has called me many names before but to hear her being racist, that really shocked me. Good wrote on Facebook she has had ongoing issues with Langlois, and said the woman called the police to search her house because she thought she was a drug dealer. “Let’s rewind back to the beginning when she called the police to search my house for drugs because her words were I couldn’t afford my house, I never leave the house so I had to sell drugs because I’m black and had a Porsche,” Good wrote on Facebook. “Yes the POLICE SURE DID SEARCH MY HOUSE FOR DRUGS SMH. No drugs were found I work from home!! This has been going on for MONTHS.” In another post, she wrote that Langlois and her children refused to move so she could park in front of her house, about two weeks before the incident. The police department did not immediately respond to a request for comment and for records of previous calls involving the two women.
