In JumpStart 3D Virtual World: Quest for the Color Meister, the titular Color Meister serves as an antagonist for most of the game. According to Ryan Batcheller, who designed the character, two early concepts for the Color Meister were "a powerful god like Odin with armor" and "a small man in a hat like Willy Wonka". He also shared some concept art of various character designs from before the Color Meister's appearance was finalized.
so does anyone remember the jumpstart games?? because i do and it may or may not have become a bit of a special interest of mine. so here's my head canons for the characters! im specifically referring to Jumpstart 3D virtual world (quest for the color meister specifically), because this is the only game ive played (plus the online one).
- hops has ADHD, and is gay
- botley is autistic, and dating hops (asexual, panromantic probably, maybe even trans)
- kisha and hops are like brother & sister, hops is the older brother
- kisha is bi/lesbian, she of course is artsy, but also punk
- kisha and hops race and play hide and seek together and have fun sibling times
- cj is autistic! his special interest is definitely adventuring
- pierre & eleanor are also like brother and sister I'd think! pierre is def older brother
- frankie is camp dad obviously!! he loves his kids. he's a sweater gay. he WILL bite transphobes and homophobes ankles.
- stanley is trans! he's also asexual homoromantic. he and frankie would definitely go to pride together
- the other side characters support frankie and his kids, they also welcome stanley with open arms and give him the love and support he needs
- mc is questioning their identity, and is welcomed into the family and becomes really close with their new siblings
- stanley and frankie might be dating
don't mind me, making jumpstart head canons in 2019. may add more later

Some of the minigames in the JumpStart MMO were adapted from from the JumpStart 3D Virtual World series. Two minigames in particular, "Buggy Racer" and "Hops' JetPack", were directly based on "Dynamo Dunes with CJ" and "High Flying with Hops" from JumpStart 3D Virtual World: Quest for the Color Meister. The screenshots above compare each MMO minigame (left) with its 3D Virtual World counterpart (right).
The final mission in AdventureLand from the JumpStart MMO involved placing a statue that was stated to keep Punk-Punks calm (top). The 3D model of this statue actually originated in JumpStart 3D Virtual World: Quest for the Color Meister (middle), and its appearance is directly based on the titular character the Color Meister (bottom).
