I personally don't know if this is common knowledge (as I don't know much about the chinese side of the rain world fandom) but as I and @transgenderfivepebbles were looking through the chinese translation of the iterators' names we kind of. found something that the english lore people might enjoy. or something
(Note that I am currently typing in traditional chinese, hence possible discrepancies. Please add to this post if you can and possibly with other translations of Rain world! I also don't really know the exact english names for some terminology I am using for chinese grammar so uhm. )
Here is the leadup (skip to after the image if you just want to get to the meat of it)
Sometimes I see chinese names for the iterators floating around online, but said names seem to vary between sources.
This is because there was no official chinese translation for Rain World for most of its existence.
Afaik people tend to just use the iterators' english acronyms within pearl conversation logs (eg. FP, BSM/LttM, SRS etc).
Apparently there is now an official simplified chinese translation for Rain World (no idea about traditional chinese) available since 1.9, which was released at the same time as downpour. Keep this timing in mind
The iterators got official chinese translations for their names (thanks @transgenderfivepebbles for in game screenshots);
Most of their names are literal translations and slightly inclined towards being poetic.
For example: 五塊卵石 for Five Pebbles. Considering 卵石 is actually defined as a pebble in english and 五 is five (塊 is a quantifier) this is very very literal
Another (slightly more extreme) example: 無比純真 for Unparalleled Innocence. For non-chinese speaker, 無比 literally means unparalleled and 純真 means innocence. good job.
For Moon: its 仰望皓月. 皓 is a (i think uncommonish?) word of which the most common definition is white/bright and is also used to describe the moon(think 明月). a very literal translation of it would be "(by raising one's head) looking up to the bright moon".
Now, I was especially intrigued on what No Significant Harassment's chinese translation would be. i don't know how you can make a literal translation of his name and both keep it within four characters and still have some semblance of being poetic
Its
(thanks @transgenderfivepebbles again!)
Now, the first reaction I take to seeing this is "this is definitely not a literal translation."
now, the second character is slightly unfamiliar to me in its usage. i know it from a term (滑稽) and not for the word itself.
the third and fourth characters (煩憂)are combined to be an expression for worry, frustration, anxiousness, bothered. 煩 in 煩惱 and 憂 in 憂傷 together.
after a quick googling (and asking around), i find that 無稽 (the first two characters, together as a term) is defined as (something being) unfounded/baseless/absurd. the term is most commonly used in the expression 無稽之談, defined as baseless statements/claims and has a quite negative connotation.
Therefore, No Signifcant Harassment's name in the chinese translation of Rain World would directly mean unfounded worries.
now some extra fun screenshots!!!
also. yeah it was released with downpour. ok goodbye

Legends and myths about trees
Forest myths, Estonian traditional beliefs (2)
The world of the Estonians’ ancestors - Proto-Estonian mythology
The world of the Estonians’ ancestors is believed to have turned around a pillar or a tree, to which the skies were nailed with the North Star. The Milky Way (Linnutee or Birds' Way in Estonian) was a branch of the World tree (Ilmapuu) or the way by which birds moved (and took the souls of the deceased to the other world). These myths were based on animistic beliefs.
Some traces of the oldest authentic myths may have survived in runic songs. There is a song about the birth of the world – a bird lays three eggs and starts to lay out the nestlings – one becomes Sun, one becomes Moon and one becomes the Earth. Other Finnic peoples also have myths according to which the world has emerged from an egg.
It has been suggested by ethnologist and former president Lennart Meri and among others, that a Kaali meteorite crater which passed dramatically over populated regions and landed on the island of Saaremaa around 3,000 - 4,000 years ago was a cataclysmic event that may have influenced the mythology of Estonia and neighboring countries, especially those from whose vantage point a "sun" seemed to set in the east.
There are surviving stories about Kaali crater in Finnish mythology (Description of indigenous paganism by Finns who always believed in spirit beliefs).
In the Karelian-Finnish folk epic, the Kalevala, cantos (songs) 47, 48 and 49 can be interpreted as descriptions of the impact, the resulting tsunami and devastating forest fires. It has also been suggested that the Virumaa-born Oeselian god Tharapita is a reflection of the meteorite that entered the atmosphere somewhere near the suggested "birthplace" of the god and landed in Oesel.
Estonian mythology is a complex of myths belonging to Estonian folk heritage and literary mythology, and the systematic documentation of Estonian folklore had only began in the 19th century.
Therefore, information on Proto-Estonian mythology before the conquest of the Northern Crusades, Christianisation and incorporation into the European world and during the medieval era, is only scattered in historical chronicles, travellers' accounts and in ecclesiastical registers.
It can be difficult to tell how much of Estonian mythology as we know it today was actually constructed in the 19th and early 20th century. Friedrich Robert Fehlmann, one of the compilers of the Estonian national epic, Kalevipoeg in the introduction to Esthnische Sagen (Estonian Legends), states.
"However, since Pietism has started to penetrate deep into the life of the people...singing folk songs and telling legends have become forbidden for the people; moreover, the last survivals of pagan deities are being destroyed and there is no chance for historical research."
In June, seven praying mantises appeared on my balcony. They were still babies, so I wondered how in the world they got onto the 11th floor. There are several kids who live in the same building, so maybe one of them found some mantis eggs in the park and brought them home. Anyway, these seven little mantises came to my balcony and made me super happy.
For a month and a half, I encouraged the baby mantises towards the aphids on my potted plants. One day, two of the mantises were blown away in a strong wind. That was pretty sad, but the remaining five mantises molted several times and got bigger. One by one, they disappeared from my balcony. I was worried some neighbors might not be as fond of bugs as I am and squish a mantis, so when I saw the last remaining mantis walking on the glass door to the balcony, I decided to release it in the park.
I got a Tupperware container from the kitchen and went out on the balcony. I carefully got closer to the mantis, holding the lid in one hand and the container in the other. I gently pushed the mantis into the container and closed the lid. My husband isn’t a big fan of bugs, but he looked into the container and said, “It really is pretty cute.” Carefully carrying the Tupperware container, I took the elevator down and walked to the park. I released the mantis on a bush that had lots of ants on it. I wanted to take a final picture, but I had forgotten to bring my camera. How sad.
I used the translator, so tired and troublesome, and the operation of the web page here is very uncomfortable. Vpn! When will this mobile phone be able to use a vpn!

Jaime continued to stroll along the garden path, the bright starlight wrapped around the elves lit up the garden, and the decorative plants seemed to be painted by the Milky Way while shining
It was the most beautiful garden Jaime had ever seen, and he sat down on a gorgeous stone bench beside him to enjoy the peace and beauty
The noise at the ball made the world more peaceful for both of them It was as if there were elves playing a harp in the grass, and the beautiful melody gently lifted the ripples in Haimei's heart. The starry sky atChristmas was particularly clear, and Haimei watched the starry sky as beautiful as the night in her hometown. Under the magic, they could see the flowing Milky Way and the escaping nebulae
khaji da accompanied Jaime. He didn't understand what the atmosphere gave him, but he felt that it might be better to communicate with Jaime now, just like friends do [ Ed's right ]
[ Why did you turn down those girls' invitations ]
" Come on ..." Haimei's voice sounded faint, like a pebble flowing through the bottom of Chunchun Creek
" If a girl finds a talking scarab on my back after dating me, and even conjures up a bug suit for me to wear so that I can fly around in the sky, maybe she will be wanted by a bunch of people in green clothes ( definitely not my sister ) in the future, will she still want to be with me?"
Khaji da was silent, and the feeling hidden in the atmosphere completely engulfed him. He didn't know what to say, as if he were covered, and his heart fluctuated like a water snake in the sand
Jaime was still looking up at the stars, his right hand rubbing their wands, just a week after they went to Guy Gardner As a member of Oa, Guy told Jaime a lot about Oa and the wizard named Khajida
As one of the greatest enemies of Europe and Afghanistan, Khajida was the only one of the most powerful wizards of that era who did not enjoy a good reputation
Madman, cruel, ruthless, violent, that's what Ou'a said about the Azkaban prep
No history book even dared to record him. The only message about him in the library is: " However, not all wizards dare to improve the unstable evil spell or study the material curse as deeply as the founder of expulso curse, Khaji da.Bugsuit. This is a crazy research and development spirit and cannot be imitated."
That's right. Who but a madman would put himself in a bug shell?
Jaime couldn't tell whether she was afraid of Khaji daor complaining about her bad luck, perhaps both
But Khaji da, he has amnesia, which is a good thing, for everyone.
Jaime hopes he can keep amnesia and just be a grumpy bug Even if Khaji da doesn't want to, Jaime must always let him do it Even if it's not fair to Khaji da
He wasn't happy, and Jaime was with him In fact, Jaime wanted to tell him that he didn't blame him. Deep down in Jaime's heart, he believed that Khajida ... was getting better
After that, they rarely spoke, and Jaime admitted that he was afraid of what Kajida would do for the past, while Kajida was afraid of Jaime's response, and their relationship inevitably slipped downhill
Silence filled the garden, and the harp ceased
I don't know how long has passed, and the sound on the other side of the ballroom has dropped
Jaime decided to say something more to break the silence
" So ... let's pray to the Virgin Mary that I can meet a girl who can stand all this?"
A man heard a beautiful voice ringing in Jaime's ear. Jaime followed the sound and saw that the girl was sitting at his hand, sitting on a stone bench with him. It was her two moist lips that hooked his soul. As if everything was shrouded in the delightful magic of the brilliant night, her beautiful black eyes reflected the Milky Way and his twinkling brown pupils. She was wearing a long gauze evening dress woven by starlight, her long black hair fluttering in the silver light, and she had a jade body stripped from the starry sky, as beautiful as the night goddess
Jaime was stunned. The girl stared at him half puzzled and half interested. Asian face smiled and her earrings flashed. Jaime broke away from the confused state.
He suddenly reacted to her purpose and his gentleman status
" Ah ..." too wonderful for words, God's arrangement is satisfactory
Jaime got up from her seat, turned and reached out to the girl to take a walk
" How can I help you?"
" well ..." The girl accepted the invitation, reached out and caressed Jaime's outstretched hand, and they slowly walked down the path again
" Have you heard of celestas?" Jaime turned her head to listen to Khajida's popular science, but the other party was surprisingly quiet
"Breeding Sniffers"
This is No.200! Congratulations! To me:) I got another egg of sniffer, so I grew up at my garden. The egg grow up faster on moss blocks. Did they live in the biome with moss? The child of Suni-taro and Suni-no-suke is Suni-mi. It's wonderful minecraft world that we don't know what gender is, they have a baby. :D
memo
・You can breed the sniffers using torchflower seeds. When two adult sniffers are bred, they drop a sniffer egg.
・Sniffers find toachflower seeds from dirt and so on. They find it or a pitcher pod.
