Driven by a collective passion close to home, a trio of Bondies outlined their idea for a global social media education campaign around the concept to help save the Great Barrier Reef in the Bond University finals of the World’s Challenge Challenge, earning the team first place.

Jackson Silvester-Lee, Isabelle Silberling and Lacey Rowett will be jetting across the globe to Ontario, Canada in June to present their plan to save the Great Barrier Reef at an international competition.

The World’s Challenge Challenge is an initiative of Ontario’s Western University, built around the 17 Global Goals adopted by world leaders at the United Nations in 2015. It’s designed to engage students from all over the world in thinking more about global issues and developing unique solutions.
