The Red Fort (Lal Kila) is located in the Shahjahana Baad of Delhi. Now Shahjahan Baad is known as Old Delhi. This Red Fort was built in 1648 by Shah Jahan. The linseed name of the Red Fort is Qila-E-Mubarak. But as this fort is made of red stone, hence it is called Red Fort. This red fort is spread over an area of 1.42 kilometers.
