Okay so like....with my headcanons it makes no sense for Jaleesa and Obregon to be on Celebrant’s side, right? So here’s my solution: they were planning on using the wizenstone for themselves so THEY could lead the rebellion instead of Celebrant. Unfortunately, Jaleesa got turned to platinum or whatever and Obregon was too quick to act because he wanted the wizenstone for himself. They were more loyal to Madrigus than they are to Celebrant despite the fact that Celebrant has been a pretty strong king because they actually cared about Madrigus.

My friends, I have just connected a few dots.

Rhombus (Ronodin) kidnapped Seth and brought him to his hideout. In the final chapter of WOTDK, the location image for the hideout of Rhombus was an island. Clearly, this island is the island in Master of the Phantom Isle. Now, on the cover of this new book,

there is a sea creature that looks like a leviathan.

Recall the items that Thronis gave Seth. The tower and the agate leviathan. This would be useful at watery preserve. And Seth carries this inside his emergency kit, which he had on him at the time of the kidnapping. The leviathan appears to be attacking a merman. Maybe Ronodin/Seth are attempting to become the master of the phantom isle, or take over this new preserve.
