Well, if it originally wasn't, it now retroactively is.

No, seriously. There isn't any "tricking" the game into recognizing someone as a Player. If the game recognizes it as a valid Player, it has always been a valid Player.

The game hates being wrong, so it makes it that it never is. I strongly recommend to comply with its assumptions of what you are.

For everyone who somehow accessed that layer of code but not the Tech Support Discord: It's for access. In case you are in developer/tester hybrid position at SkaiaNet and you are currently flying, you want to be able to patch the code quickly without fighting you way through it. And by "quickly" I mean "before you reach an obstacle that triggers collision at a neck-breaking speed".

There was a time where the game didn't respawn us when our bodies got too mangled. Good times that.

We've isolated the session, and apparently they've been using their alchemiters to create an infinite amount of catgirls.

I think it would be really funny to redefine that captchalogue code to point to the PGO, but only for that particular session.

What are your thoughts?

Hey, I have a few questions about whatever the fuck just happened.

Why did our session still generate when we all died trying to enter

Why were all our dream selves sleeping in crypts in derse and prospit's cores instead of being dead in normal towers on moons containing more normally-placed crypts

Why were the moons completely missing

What the fuck is a dream bubble

Why the fuck could one of my co players control an alchemized rc drone from outside the session using a dreamed-up remote controller

Ad 1: Being dead doesn't stop you from playing, as you have found out by now.

Ad 2: Upon death of the Waking Self, the Dream Self begins stops shoving signs of life (despite it not being dead) and the Carapacians consider it to be dead. They move all Dream Selves they consider dead (whether truly dead or not) to the Crypt in the Dream Moon's Core.

Ad 3) Dream Moon Moons (Prospit Moon and Derse Moon) are a starting location for the Dream Selves; they hold the Dream Rooms and some introductory NPCs. However, if all Dream Selves from on Moon are moved to the Crypt before they can Wake Up, the probability that the Dream Rooms get even visited and the intro NPCs spoken to are basically null (we ran statistics on this). Game saves power and memory and just deletes them. You can re-spawn those locations if you want by checking Enable Pointless Areas and then refreshing the game.

Ad 4) Dream Bubble is where ghosts go from the Incinisphere. AKA: If you die in game and you don't have a Dream Self, this is where your consciousness is moved to. Dream Bubbles are not a part of the game, they were made solely by the Noble Circle of Horrorterrors. As Dream Bubbles are space pockets made to withhold conscience, their "geografy" is an external projection of your thoughts... and of other people's thoughts as they collide. That doesn't shift as much as you'd think; once you your senses perceive something, you tend to subconsciously think about the thing more, therefore reinforcing its existence in the Dream Bubble. Funnily enough, the Dream Bubbles hang on "Sleeper Code" like the Dream Selves, which means that if you are sleeping and do not have a Dream Self, your consicousness gets temporarily moved there too.

Ad 5) That sounds like a Resistance Aspect Player bullshit. Happens. Be grateful.

Hey, question, is mystic grist intentional, as a reference to that myst branch I've been hearing about, or do I need to go into our game files and purge a mod before a sinkhole forms, if so which grist would you reccomend making all that mystic grist, something voidy, or would you be doing the purging of the mod, -safely for our party I'd hope-, so I don't have to risk looking in the wrong direction and becoming a pile of semicolons? Mystic Grist, as far as I know, has nothing intentionally connected to the Myst branch.

Mystic Grist is a relic from the pre-Alpha ages when Grist were based on concepts rather than materials, and Alchemizing didn't take a specific type of grist, only an amount. The total sum of abstract influences would then determine the properties of the Alchemized item. Mystic Grist along with a few others are now distributed to specific Quest Consorts and Carapacians, because of the awareness emission they have.

For example the Secret Consort has technically 64 Mystic Grist, so when you are standing nearby, you are hit "This fellow is mystic (64)!"

These grists aren't used for any Alchemiter recipes and they cannot be crafted. They are basically useless.

Seer of Mind here, [not too relevant, though]; I know there's various mechanics relating to relationships in-game, whether it's aspects or other miscellaneous stuff, and they've all worked well from what I can tell; not complaining or anything, uh.

I was wondering if there was anything I need to watch out for in this situation? There's a Witch of Rain in our session, and she is very seriously dating her dupliclones. Like, another player said that it was a funny bit, and she was genuinely hurt?

I'm trying not to give a shit or anything, but my point is that there's both a Heart and a Blood player in this session and there's already been some weird shit happening when they interact with them even without any non-aspected relationship stuff.

Just as an example, our Heart player tried using one of those creepy relationship/desire scrying abilities on one of them, and instantly fell unconscious for like, a full day, and woke up with "the worst migraine he's had in his life." He must've somehow gotten information from all of the dupliclones at once, or something?

I mean, the guy deserved it, I hate players who use mind-reading abilities like that, [I'm aware I'm a Seer of Mind, it sucks], but this hasn't happened before when I've seen abilities like that used on clones in other sessions. It works just fine.

My only guess is that the dating is causing it for whatever reason, cause I know there's mechanics that track that. There's a Mist player in our session that could've made him scry all of the dupliclones at once instead of just one, but they were nowhere nearby and have had a lot of trouble extending their area of influence.

Just wanting to keep stuff like this from happening. Psybuffing that guy was one hell of an effort.

It's important to know that the relationship mechanic is not one of the Make-or-Break features of the game. It is more for flavour and to reward good rapport between Players.

This is more of Gurl's area of expertise, psychology and relationships go mostly over my head, but if the scrying was done on one person/clone only, the easiest answer is that the WoR has a super complicated relationship with her own self. Or her clones. Which are her. Rain makes perfect copies. It's not a "there are two beings and both are the WoR" it is more of a "there are two WoR and she has multiple bodies". A lot of Rain Players doesn't realize that, though.

So if your WoR is dating her own Rainclone which she maybe doesn't view as her own self (which the Rainclone is) and has a big issue of "secretly or not so secretly I hate myself"... Actually, I am getting a headache thinking about this kind of relationship and I am not scrying into anything. Kind of self-explanatory, isn't it?

My ultimate advice is do not date anyone ever and keep your feelings bottles until they explode in your face, killing you instantly. Whatever happens afterwards will not be your problem.

Kind of a small problem but a bit of a weird one, it appears that my skybox texture has broken and is currently displaying the unwrapped texture of a carapacian

Got a bug that I'm gonna probably get beat up for reporting, but if you pile up (physically pile up, using that one full wallet trick so you don't pick up the grist) enough zillium grist to reach the integer limit of your system, and then pick it up as a single stack, instead of getting the zillium it maxes out all other grist types and fills out your entire Alchemization Codex. This is used mostly in the 100% speedrun, but I think it's dumb af and takes away from the challenge of having to actually grind grist. mods pls fix

Because otherwise it was zillium last in the alphabetical order of grists, andwhen teh alphabetically last grist count xceeds the max integer value it does exactly what this Wallet Pal described.

So now that my point has been sufficiently proven, I am going to script the zzzwyx grist back.

Ok ID: 51735716, setting up an assassination of one of the derse queens has resulted in there being three somehow, and we and the queens are trying to figure out why the second, RINGLESS might I add queen, split into two, and became two queens, apparently pre scratch there was a Prince of Mist player whose coming over for some reason, does that have anything to do with it, and thus it's not a bug, or is it actually a bug?

Ah. Mist. Of course. Number 1 suspect for everything. As opposed to Void which is suspect number 1 for nothing.

However, PoM should break duplicates and replicates. So this problem ought to solve itself.

...Try to replicate the Queen instead. By the logic so far it should remove the clones.
