Walking the Gauntlet

Now this takes skill!

 This is a Adventure Park in Sandy Spring, Maryland. The section seen here is the beginning of the Gauntlet--the most challenging series of ropes in the 15 rope courses.

On this day, a family had a Gauntlet challenge. This is a video of a young man (maybe the son) walking a section of the Gauntlet. There are two other videos of a father and daughter climbing up to the platform to begin their Gauntlet journey.

Whether you’ve been to New Orleans or not, you’ve seen them—the brass band that parades through the streets in a somber march only to erupt in a celebration of music, color and dance. Like the pied piper the band draws crowds who dance through the streets like it’s Mardi Gras.

That is the Second Line.
