I will be alternating between posting our duo photos and my solo Gabrielle photos over the course of this week! . Xena, our resident Warrior Princess, is cosplayed by the beautiful @catiebug8192 and hoo boy, I can't imagine having any other Xena by my side! XD 💖 She is amazing and kawaii af so you guys should definitely go follow her ASAP!! . I cosplayed Gabrielle, the Battling Bard of Potidaea: faithful sidekick to Xena and diligent ass-kicker XD As far as costuming goes, I put quite a lot of work into this one, despite it's simple look. I hammered approximately 32 rivets into my boots, layered an old belt in craft foam and leather before hand-painting the designs, and made major alterations to two different skirts and a top that was, originally, wayyyy too big on me. Finally, I created the staff from scratch (with a little help from the boyfriend!) out of PVC pipe. This was, by far, my favorite part of the build! .
