So, why do I say it's ironic:

In the past, big size differences weren't unwelcome, going either way, but were otherwise not something I thought of much, and I've never really cared about catgirls, just mostly completely neutral towards them, even a bit of disdain for them due to how overused they are.

But if that were all, it wouldn't be ironic, the irony comes from:

I'm long time friends with a certain popular giantess fetish artist. We became and remained friends over completely unrelated matters, but I did hang out in this friend's community mostly centered around the fetish for a while, mostly because I was young and new to the net by then and I didn't really have a community to call my own, so I jumped in there. The fans of Nazi punching are often easy too casual about violence for my comfort. It leads to dreadful contradictions like punching Nazi being incredibly effective at silencing them forever, but if an innocent person (like a random bald man) gets anti-Nazi punched, the violence will suddenly not be any bother. Or, they recognize that violence can hurt good people and bad people, but an arbitrary number of innocents is a small price to pay.

When you said you hated Medaka Box, I was thrown into confusion. My strongest memory of your tumblr is of you passionately explaining how Zenos of FFXIV Did Not Understand Medaka Box and Samurai Champloo, but that he does finally get it in the end. I regularly regret not setting aside time to watch Medaka Box, based purely on your expressiveness.

You might like David Brin's "Kiln People," which is a high concept detective story with cool worldbuilding. In the future, it is trivially easy to make copies of a person that last 24 hours, and the original person can choose to download a copy's memories. You stay home with your pets while your golem goes to work, and you don't bother sharing/preserving its experience if the other you comes home and says its day sucked. Very challenging setting for characters stuck in a murder mystery.

Oooh, that does sound interesting. And David Brin is very much one of those authors I'm vaguely aware of the existance of but know nothing about.

I think that radfem positions are so popular on tumblr because they clearly identify enemies and have immediate applicability for nearly everything. Why worry about intersectionality when everything is clearly the patriarchy's fault? You don't have to worry about being racist, because you already know men are to blame. Emmett Till and similar figures were men and got what they deserve, etc. You have become pure and good by joining the sisterhood, and now never need to doubt your behavior.

That makes a lot of sense. I know that one of the things I was looking for when I was an extremist. I'm just baffled that some people are so convinced that men aren't oppressed when it's so obvious that there are so many ways a man's life can be just as bad or worse than any woman's. It especially baffles me when I see radical feminists talking about things like BLM, and it's like two posts down from "all men can die and burn as painfully as possible" or something. It's like, "champion compartmentalizing there, sis."

Regarding language shifts, did you ever get exposed to the "feminist" VS "pro-feminism" issue? I swear there was a while where the idea that only women could be feminist was treated as a bleeding edge progressive idea. Men could only be pro women or pro-feminism, but then those labels got reshuffled to mean fakers. The idea that you had to be a feminist to be a good person remained, but the criteria for being feminist didn't change. I wonder if this was just sloppiness or TERF shenanigans.

Thank you for talking about the splash damage. I think you've previously referred to scrupulosity regarding this sort of thing, and I think that's very relevant. It is difficult to tell when something is aimed at individuals or society, and this seems basically the same as "as long as you aren't shitty, you should know that I don't mean you when I say whites/men/straights/etc are all shitty." I'm sorry people are trying to "educate" you about something you clearly know very well.
