Theres a very clear line of best friends and lovers and besides, theres no possible way you could like him back

Zoning out a lot, trying to understand his feelings more when he just blurts out what was on his mind. Because you guys are close, he could tell you anything, right?

“No, no its fine. I know you obviously dont like me and it’s okay, i just wanted to get it off my chest. Im sorry i made you uncomfortable.”

He was already on the verge of tears, but when you tell him you love him, more than just friends, he just bursts out crying ♡

JUNMIN ☆

Just goes along with it

Holds your hand, puts his arm around your shoulder. Refuses to call you by your name but babe

Likes that your getting flustered because hes screaming on the inside

Gets so into his role that he leans into you, your noses touching and hes about to kiss you. Until wait a minute and just pulls back with a sheepish smile

Daydreams for the rest of the day about the almost kiss. And when he drops you to your house, he finally does it ♡

Freezes; were you reading his thoughts? Were you able to somehow see his dreams? H-how did you know??

He tries to play it cool even though his face is burning red. "Y-yeah.. that'll be crazy right?! Haha.." he clears his throat

But to his dismay, you already knew about the massive crush he had on you, as he was very obvious

So you use that to your advantage, scooting extra close to him, your hands shadowing over his small ones

"I like you too, stupid." You would laugh, placing a soft kiss on his cheek as his face gets even redder ♡

"Yeah, imagine if we were dating." He would take it as a joke, lying down and fantasizing about your lifes as a couple

"I would take you to this hot air balloon festival, since i know you've always wanted to go."

Has this smile on his face until he stops; were you actually serious?

You had to be joking, there was no way this was directed to him, right?

Almost stops breathing and his mouth is dropped open when you kiss his cheek. "I like you, jinsik." ♡

So he gets a little quiet, looking down as hes lost in his thoughts, a little teary eyed

Snaps out of it when you call his name, and would say he’s okay even though you know he’s lying

So with all courage, you confess to him. And when you’re done, he’d pour his heart out to you ♡

Grabs both of your hands with a warm smile, checking to see if you were comfortable before tucking some hair behind your ears, his eyes filled with love

"You're so pretty." He would mumble as he picks a flower out of a bush next to you

Lifts up your chin and slowly connects your lips, moving in a slow but meaningful pace ♡

YECHAN ☆

The boy would not stop giggling

"I-if we were dating?" He would burst out laughing, making you think he's making fun of the question

Would stop laughing when he notices your frown

"I-I mean.. if we were dating, it would be so nice and we would wake up together and text pick-up lines and-" his face was bright pink as he was rambling

SUNSET ORANGE - hunter xikers

she was the physical version of pure sunshine, constantly lighting up a room with her smile and energy- painting the previously dull grey room, vibrant shades of, well, everything. 

I didn’t have a favourite colour before meeting her, if anyone had asked me- I would’ve said maybe blue. but she, she was just so vibrant, so full of life and so happy. 

the first time she asked me what my favourite colour was, I asked her to guess. she frowned, furrowing her brow in concentration for at least a minute, before lighting back up. “sunset orange!” she declared so happily. I couldn’t tell her no, how could I? when she looked so ecstatic when I nodded my head, cheering a little at her excellent guessing skills. 

she was right though, sunset orange is my favourite colour. it’s the colour that reminds me the most of her, reminds me the most of the dates we spent down at the beach, watching the sun set before she would pull out sparklers and light them in the cooling evening. 

“hun? hunter? are you in there?” her voice broke me out of my trip down memory lane, her beautiful smiling face welcoming me back into reality. “yeah, I am now” I replied, pressing a kiss to her temple, savouring the way that her smile grew as I did.

Stealing a Sip of XIKERS Drink

Minjae:

Jaw dropped and blushing, staring at you like you in disbelief just cast a magic spell or something

Stuttering while trying to ask why you did that, his eyes constantly darting back to the part of the straw your lips just touched, blushing even harder thinking about how you'd just put your mouth on the straw that he'd also put his mouth on

Eyes dropping down to your lips every now and then as you giggle at his panic, finding him cute and innocent

Would be very hesitant to keep drinking it afterwards, being too flustered by the fact he'd be putting his lips somewhere your lips had been

Good luck with actually kissing him, he'll be a mess of stuttering and blushing like crazy

Junmin:

The man would freeze, literally, you'd be waving your hand in front of his very red face and he'd just be unresponsive. Lights are on, no one's home

His mind is in chaos. He's screaming and giggling and crying on the inside all at once all while you're standing there like “Junmin? Hellooooo? Anyone home?”

One of the thoughts running through his head would just be “I should kiss them right now”. He won't be able to stop thinking about it. Seeing the way your lips wrapped around the straw that he'd used already made his desire to kiss you sky-rocket 

If he ends up too shy, he'll just throw the drink away and speed walk away, hand clamped over his mouth as fantasies of kissing you play on his head over and over

If all goes well, he'll build up enough courage to just drop the drink, grab your face and kiss you like he wanted to

Sumin:

He'd think you were so adorable yo be honest, a soft smile and a pink tint crossing his face

He'd probably just give the rest of the drink to you assuming you actually wanted it, and not that you stole a sip to see him get flustered. If he thinks you want it, he'll give it to you no question, he's that kind of guy

You'd get flustered and tell him your real intentions of wanting to see him embarrassed he'd just giggle and tease you, “if you wanted to kiss me so badly, you could've just asked~”

He'd watch with a smile as you pout and blush, flustered by his words, before he leans in and kisses you softly

After that incident he'd definitely prank you. The next time he's holding a drink, he'd pretend not to pay attention until he sees you creeping up to sneak a sip. Then he'd immediately turn his head so your lips met his rather than the straw and he'd just watch you freak out

Jinsik:

Confused at first, just staring at you. He probably wouldn't realise the implications at all first, wouldn't immediately think of the whole “indirect kiss” thing

You might have to whisper to him that you technically just indirectly kissed him, and once he hears that he'll be a blushing and smiling mess

Would insist that he doesn't care about that kind of thing but he'd be smiling and blushing so much, literally giggling and kicking his feet

His eyes would keep lingering on your lips but he wouldn't say anything, he's too much of a gentleman 

You'd have to notice on your own and make the move, and once you do, his head would just be spinning. He'd pull you in shyly, kissing you with a smile on his face

Hyunwoo:

Another one that wouldn't immediately know what an indirect kiss is. You'd literally have to explain to him that you put your mouth on something he'd put his mouth on, therefore making in and indirect kiss

Once he understands, he'd be stuttering and blushing, insisting that it's stupid and means absolutely nothing

King of trying to hide his flusteredness by just rambling about how silly it is and how only silly people would believe in something like that

His rambling would be his own downfall, and he'd end up spitting out something like “what's the point of this stupid indirect kiss when you could just kiss me directly-” 

He'd blush but you'd just smile and kiss him, keeping your eyes open to watch his go wide with shock and his face go even redder

Junghoon:

I'm almost convinced he just wouldn't care. He'd hand you the rest of the drink assuming you wanted it with his signature straight face

You'd explain to him the whole point and what an indirect kiss is and what you were trying to do and he'd just be like “Oh. You're cute.” With a small smile

From then on he'd always offer you a sip of his drinks, whispering “indirect kiss?” as he hands it to you and you'd just giggle at his cuteness

One day you'd decide to catch him off guard. He'd do his usual thing, handing the drink to you and whispering and you'd just reach up, grab his face and kiss him directly, his eyes going wide

As you'd pull back, it'd be the first time you'd really seen him with a really different expression from his usual one. His cheeks would be a soft pink and his ears would be just bright red. His lips would be parted slightly in shock and his eyes would be so wide you were convinced they'd pop out from their sockets

Seeun:

He'd somehow catch you before you were going to do it, snatching the drink away before you could get to it. He'd proceed to laugh, telling you that you need to be more stealthy to get him with that

And so starts the saga of trying to steal sips of his drink without him noticing. Any chance you'd get where you see him with a drink with a straw in it, you'd sneak up and pounce

One day, he'd be super distracted by something and you'd end up actually getting it, to which he'd smirk at you and look into your eyes before leaning down and taking a sip of it himself, holding the eye contact the whole time

He'd smirk as you go red from him turning the tables on you, and he'd just chuckle and poke you on the forehead teasingly

He'd land the final blow by saying “if that's how red you get from an indirect kiss, I'm looking forward to when I actually kiss you~” leaving you absolutely stunned

Yujun:

He'd be so flustered but I think he'd just giggle be so cute about it. He'd insist that you two share the drink while blushing and smiling super wide

The whole time the two of you are sharing the drink he would not be able to stop smiling. In his head he'd be freaking out about how cute you are and how romantic the situation is but he'd be trying not to let it show on his face

It'd become a habit between you two, buying a drink you both like and sharing it. It just makes you feel so close and bonded and happy

One day Seeun would see you two doing this and immediately start teasing you, insisting that you two should just kiss already and stop acting like primary school crushes. You'd both go red and look at each other, his eyes falling to your lips before he quickly turns away

The next time he'd be buying a drink for you two, you would've gotten over Seeun's teasing, back to your normal routine. At least, that's what you think until Yujun watches you take a sip and almost immediately brings his lips to yours afterwards, giving you the most soft and gentle kiss ever

Hunter:

He'd just smile and tilt his head at you, amused and finding you adorable. He wouldn't say anything after you look up at him and you'd start getting flustered

You'd explain to him the indirect kiss thing, thinking he doesn't realise, but he'd confirm that he knows, he just thinks you're so cute and he'd confess that he just wants to kiss you for real

He'd keep smiling as you blush and get flustered and he'd just offer you the rest of his drink, trying to be cheeky and just making you more flustered

He'd always make it a habit to offer you sips of his drinks even though you'd always decline while blushing and he'd just be like “awww what about our indirect kiss?” in a fake sad tone just to fluster you more 

He'd never ever try to actually kiss you without you saying so or making the first move, he'd just tease you and flirt with you until you give in and kiss him

Yechan:

He'd actually get offended like, how dare you steal some of his yummy drink that he was enjoying ????

He wouldn't even think about the indirect kiss thing because he's too busy getting revenge on you by tickling you or poking you or by little you up and swinging you around like a ragdoll

He'd only realise it later when he's alone. He'd zone out staring at the straw and suddenly the thought of “they put their lips where mine had been…” and then he'd just be blushing and giggling, throwing his head back and covering his face, kicking his feet like crazy in his bed until Junmin leans over from the top bunk and tells him to stop with an annoyed tone

He'd stop flailing but he'd just sit there giggling and staring the straw of his drink like a lovesick boy

The next time he has a drink, he'd offer a sip to you which would just completely throw you off because of how he literally attacked you when you stole some of his drink first. You'd honestly think it was a trap, like he was trying to test you but you'd carefully accept and take a sip. He'd giggle and just happily say “thanks!” before waddling away, leaving you so confused

You sighed as you stood infront of the door to the studio, your heart slightly jumping at the thought of the red haired boy sitting inside waiting to work with you. You were one of KQs best song writers and always were praised for your works by hongjoong and Maddox especially since you worked with them alot, even helping them prepare KQ new boy groups debut album. That's how you met Lee Yechan.

You knew Minjae as both him and you were sm trainees at first untill you realised maybe idol life isn't the best for you so you moved to KQ to pursue your songwriting passion. During xikers debut preparation you were met with a red haired boy that held minjaes hand, his eyes roamed everywhere almost as if he was scanning the place. He looked like a cat you thought.

That's how you knew about Minjae, Yechan and Sumin, the rapper line who you would get close to. Since they were at the same age group as you it took no time for you four to get along well, sometimes even pranking the KQ staffs together and having fun in between recording sessions.

You twisted the door knob when you hear a 'come in' a smile forming on your lips as you see yechan sitting next to Maddox, his hair was messy, his headphones were lifted off his left ear to listen to Maddox's instructions as they played the demo. You close the door behind you and leave your bag onto one of the chairs, taking a seat next to yechan.

You were supposed to work with Yechan for one of xikers upcoming songs. At first, it felt like a piece of cake because Yechan was the easiest to work with. Although the boy was loud at times, he was always so soft and sweet with you, making you develop a crush on the now grape haired boy.

Days went by and you got more busy with college too which resulted in you not having time to go to the studio as often. Yechan texted you saying he understood your situation which you felt so grateful for.

However, you got quickly burnt out from college, not to mention how your family were giving you slight troubles too with your parents constantly nagging at how you were always late to come back home when really you were travelling back and forth from your university to the company.

Yechan noticed how serious you've gotten in the past few days, you almost never joked around and only slightly smiled at minjae and sumins horrible dad jokes.

You on the other hand was scared. Scared that the feeling of overwhelming stress might've made you act differently towards the boy which is the last thing you'd want.

But the unfortunate happened.

Yechan entered the vocal room, getting himself to warm up as you looked through his part. He nodded signalling he was ready to record his part of the song. However something was missing, he wasn't himself, his flow of rap would be broken from time to time almost as if he was getting distracted.

You didn't want to loose your cool but you were getting tensed too. You cut him off and scolded him, Your only motive was to get the boy ace his rap like how he used to but it was clear he had something else on his mind. Only if you knew it was you that was on his mind.

He looked down, tears threatening to fall. Maddox tells the two of you to take a break as he notices the atmosphere in the studio tense up. A 15 minute break was what you two were given so when yechan didn't show up 30 minutes later you started to get worried. You looked out the window to see it was pouring, 'he couldn't have gone outside could he?' You excuse yourself and run out to try and find yechan, you get out of breath and panic takes over you as Yechan doesn't pick your call. Maybe you were too harsh. You run through the streets a little further untill you see a familiar boy sheltering himself from the rain.

You sprint up to him and hug him, the impact making him stumble back but he regained his position. You felt a tear roll down your cheek, Yechan was drenched from the rain and shaking from the cold. You felt your whole world crash down and you feel your shoulder get wet from yechans tears as he trembled more into your embrace, uncontrollable sobs left his lips as he holds you tight. You pull away with a slight smile, caressing his cheeks, " I'm sorry" he says looking down. "You're ok Yechan, I should be the one apologizing." Your eyes soften at him, he looked at you with a smile, shaking his head. "None of us were at fault, you had other things on your mind and so did i" he says with a chuckle, wiping away his tears as you nod. "Let's go back? Maddox will get worried if we're out for too long" you say as you hold his arm trying to walk out, the heavy pour now slowed down to a light drizzle. You felt your hand get tugged back and when you turn around you feel a pair of lips on yours. A shy grin spreads across your lips as you return the sweet gesture, yechans hands snakes around your waist, pulling you close as you share a sweet kiss under the rain. He pulls away with the most adorable smile you've ever seen, you peck his cheeks before pulling him with you. You two walked hand in hand back to the company, only to find a very distressed Minjae pacing back and forth, scolding you two as he gives you two each a towel to dry yourself. You couldn't help but giggle at how adorable he looked with messy hair as he crinkled his nose at Minjae who wouldn't stop nagging at how he'd catch a cold at this rate if he continued being this playful.

At the end of the day you bid goodbye to the xikers members, wishing them good luck since their recording sessions were over and now they had to shoot their mv scene and learn the choreography.

As you were about to leave you feel an arm wrap around yours, looking up to see yechan smiling cheekily at you. You smile back, tilting your head in confusion, he looks around and cups your cheek, placing a quick peck on your lips before running away screaming " I love you my y/n !"

My day couldn't have been worse. First, I was almost late for university, so I missed the bus and had to walk. Then, the professor in one of my classes gave me an "F" on a paper that had taken me weeks to complete and, to top it all off, said in front of the whole class how disappointed he was in me. Thank you for embarrassing me.

By the time I got home I didn't have the strength for anything. Frustration was eating me up inside and the salty tears were starting to show at the corners of my eyes. I opened the door to my flat, which seemed heavier than usual, and dropped my backpack on the way to my room.

"Hey, you're here already!" Hunter, who was on his way to the kitchen, greeted me with a smile, which soon dissipated when he saw my sad face. "Are you okay?" He said, gently caressing one of my cheeks with the back of his hand. I shook my head.

"I had a disastrous day, basically," I said, leaning my head on his shoulder.

"Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?" He asked, concerned. "You don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to. We can lie in bed for a while until you feel better" He suggested, rubbing circles on the back of my hand. His head was tilted slightly to one side and he looked at me with a little comforting smile. "Come on, let's go," He said, lightly squeezing my hand.

Hunter uncovered the bed and climbed in. Then it was me. He turned to the side and we were facing each other. He was so endearing to watch. I could never get tired of it. His beautiful dark eyes, that looked at mine like they were the only ones in the entire world, were the most beautiful sight in the universe. Well, his simile was also the most precious. He made me feel in a way that no one ever had.

Made you double over in laughter "holy fuck you do!" You spoke threw your laughter at this point Minjae was so panicked "nononono its nothing like that trust me I'd let you know the moment I'm talking in that way with her!!" He said waving his hands in the air "oh my gosh calm down Minjae it's ok it's not a big deal" you said finally calming down from your laughing fit

Minjae twisted his head to the right side in confusion "what" you said "Minjae? You never call me Minjae....did I do something?" He asked more panic setting in "not really, why guilty conscience?" You said teasing him farther "wh-what-" he stuttered causing you to giggle

Since you've been dating, Junghoon has only seen you without makeup or minimal makeup. It's not that he thinks you look ugly, though he's seen you buy some and paid for a few. Your cousin's wedding is in about 3 hours, he knows about the wedding and you've talked about going together. Buzzing from your phone echoes throughout the room confirming that you called him. "Babe...? Isn't it too early?" Evident in his voice that he had just woken up. "Sorry, did I wake you up? Though, are you sure you're gonna come with me? I mean, it's your first time meeting my family and it's during a wedding." Your boyfriend hums as you babble,

"Of course..! We've talked about it, honey. I wouldn't say things I'm not sure of, okay? I'll be there, I'll bring my suit and things too." He voices, affirming you.

Your doorbell rings while you scramble to find your dress, your boyfriend messages, telling you he's at the door. Treading to your door and hearing your boyfriend calling out your name you open it instantly, "Hi honey, you look good." He mumbles whilst you kiss him. "Thank you... You'll be dressing up here?" You question him, making sure what you heard a while ago was right.

"Yes, I brought my suit and everything," Junghoon confirms with a warm smile, holding up the garment bag. "I thought it would be more convenient to get ready here together. Plus, I wanted to spend some extra time with you before we head out."

As you let him into your apartment, you notice a flicker of concern in Junghoon's eyes. Sensing his unease, you gently touch his arm and ask, "Is everything alright, Junghoon? You seem a bit off."

Taking a deep breath, he hesitates before speaking. "Well, I have to admit, I've been feeling a bit... insecure about it lately," he confesses, his voice hardly above a whisper. "Remember the security guard at my workplace who has a crush on you? it made me wonder if I'm not appreciating you enough."

Surprised, you reassure him quickly. "Junghoon, don't worry. I love you, and I'm committed to our relationship. I appreciate your concern, but my heart belongs to you.

Relief washes over Junghoon's face. "Thank you for understanding," he says gratefully. "I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page. I trust you completely, and our love is strong."

You pull him into a solace embrace, whispering, "Junghoon, you mean the world to me."

A sense of reassurance, you both get ready for the wedding. You take your coat, ready to go.

Junmin was scrolling through his phone, waiting for you to get out of the bathroom when he feels a tap on his shoulder. "Oh sorry, im taken." He would nod at the now frowning girl, before walking over to you when you walk out.

"No, I-" sumin was definitely tired of telling the girl no repeatedly, giving her multiple side eyes before walking out of the building and giving you a text. Ranting about the girl.

"You're really pretty." "Yeah, my girlfriend thinks so too." Jinsik would smile to himself, confused on why the girl was frowning and walking away. "Did i say something wrong..?"

Hyunwoo doesnt really know what to say so he just starts flexing his wallpaper and his phone case, proudly showing off his beautiful girl then apologizing

The sudden question took yechan off guard, nervously noding his head. "T-thanks..?" Panicks when the girl asks for his number, so he just blurts out 911 and starts running <3

cinema- minjae xikers

minjae sighed, was it of relief or of loneliness? yes he had managed to get away from the rest of his bandmates and persuaded his management to be able to go to the movie cinema nearby without any security around him. it made him feel almost… normal. but he felt kinda lonely, there wasn’t anyone around him that he could talk to. 

he stood in line to enter the cinema, half messing around on his phone, half zoning out- since when did cinemas take fifteen minutes to get set up with a movie? and the staff had predicted another half hour of waiting before anything would be ready, causing him to groan quietly. of course he knew that the staff weren’t at fault here, they were barely paid minimum wage, but he did still feel a bit frustrated. 

the girl next to him in the line sighed softly, she was cute and seemed to be his age too, huh. no, he’s an idol, he can’t think that… but what if it's just left at thoughts? management can't read his mind, he can’t be scolded for just thinking that she’s pretty. 

the girl behind him tapped him gently on his shoulder, getting his attention. “hey uhm, weird question but uh” she started saying, causing minjae to inwardly roll his eyes, sure he loved his fans but he did want to be left alone for a bit on his birthda- “are you also seeing the ghostbusters movie today?” she finished her question, cutting his thoughts off abruptly. “uhm yeah, I, I am” he said awkwardly. “oh cool! what’s your seat??” she asked him excitedly, eyes lighting up. “uh, oh, seat J10, why?” he replied, a bit cautious, not wanting to give away any information that could give away what his identity was. “no way!! I’m sitting in seat J11! that’s so cool.” she responded excitedly. “by the way, sorry if i’m a bit talkative at the moment! my friends didn’t want to come see it with me and i honestly have a bit of a weak stomach when it comes to these kinds of things..” she responded awkwardly. 

“that’s ok, i kinda have the same problem but I wanted to be alone so that’ll be fine i think.” he responded slightly awkwardly, not fully knowing how to respond to such a pretty girl that was talking to him, without knowing that he was an idol. 

the two continued talking to each other in the line, getting more comfortable with each other, never once mentioning their names. minjae could feel himself relax, her presence feeling comforting and pleasant, a nice change from his bandmates and managers. the way that her laugh was making him feel butterflies in his stomach, it was so cute and he couldn’t help himself from smiling as she spoke. 

the time seemed to fly by, the cinema finally opening up. “ah, I need to go now, sorry..” the pretty girl says sheepishly. “I kinda lied earlier, I’m not seeing ghostbusters, I just thought that you were cute and wanted to talk to you, here’s my number uhm, i’d love to actually see a movie with you sometime?” she said shyly, handing him a piece of paper with her name and number scribbled onto it, waving goodbye to him awkwardly.

minjae stared at the piece of paper in slight shock, a smile slowly creeping up his face. ‘best birthday gift yet.’ he thought to himself.

"Huh- why are you crying, my love?" Minjae rushed to you, bringing his hand to your face, and gently wiping your tears with his thumb. It wasn't uncommon for you to be emotional, but given the time of day, you didn't think you'd be crying at 10 am. Who knew that a simple university paper would have you in tears?

"Well..." you sniffle, "I can't help but cry thinking about all the people that deserve love out there." Minjae quietly laughs, but it's the kind of laugh that sounds like home. Taking your hand in his, he guides you to stand up, pulling you into a hug. His love was soft, the kind of love that you would daydream about underneath the summer skies. Your tears had stopped by now, replaced with that familiar warm feeling of being in his arms.

"Can I ask what about love made you cry?" The words come out of mouth, laced with genuine curiosity. If there was one thing about Minjae that you adored, it was how he intently listened to every word you said, regardless of whether it was silly or not. You sigh into his chest, mumbling, "I'm writing about love, but I wonder if I love just as I wrote in my paper." There's a comfortable silence as Minaje thinks about his response. In his mind, there was nothing more special in his life than you.

"I can't believe you'd ever think that your love isn't special. The mere fact you're crying about writing about love means that you're full of love. That's not a bad thing, darling." A loud sigh leaves your lips as your boyfriend gently puts his finger on your lips. Blinking up at him, you search his eyes if he'll continue his thought.

He brings his hands from your waist up to cup your cheeks. Instinctively, he squishes your cheeks together causing you to look like an adorable puppy. "Listen, the world is so much more beautiful when I have you to enjoy it with me. You're the light that will always guide me home and you may not realize it, but you've made me a better person too." You both knew that he was speaking from his heart. These words weren't things he stole from a forum or was told to say by his friends.

Before you could reply, he added quickly, "Plus my birthday is a million times better because I get to spend it with you. The love of my life." You felt your cheeks flush at his words even though he's always been this smooth and flirty with you since the start of your relationship. It was comforting to have someone who loved you with their whole heart. "I love you so much. Happy birthday, darling." You press a soft kiss against his, smiling into his lips. The world slowed down as you pulled away giggling at each other. There weren't enough words in the universe to describe how you loved Minjae and how he loved you. You sat on the couch, watching as your boyfriend Minjae slowly peeled the peach, revealing it's rich and ripe insides. You averted your eyes, staring at the dim light on the ceiling instead.

"Jagi, are you alright?" Minjae smiled at you, noticing your strange behaviour. He was a little disturbed at how uncomfortable you seem to be. "Is everything okay?"

With the best of your efforts, you managed a smile. "I'm fine, j-jagi."

The loving pet name stumbled on your tongue as it tries to make its way out of your mouth. You weren't used to the whole situation, but Minjae believed that in the future, everything would work out for the both of you.

Satisfied with your answer, Minjae hummed to himself, neatly placing the plate of peaches on a clean plate before making his way over to the couch area beside you. You closed your eyes as he placed a light kiss on your forehead, taking his place next to you. "You're such a good girl, jagi. should we watch the news?"

You nodded your head tiredly. Minjae grinned, switching on the television. the news was on, and you laid your head on Minjae's shoulder, your mind shifting away from reality.

"Jagi, look at this." Minjae's voice pulled you back. He sounded amused, as you moved your eyes to the screen.

The news anchor was reporting something about a girl missing. that got your attention. You stopped leaning on minjae immediately, placing your full attention on what was on the screen.

"...has yet to find the whereabouts of the young girl, and may any eyewitness who has the clues to her whereabouts step forwards and report to the police. Ms Kang's family and friends were still extremely distressed about her disappearances, or, as I may say, kidnapping..."

"Funny the police haven't found her yet, don't you agree, jagi?" Minjae's voice was deep, as he stabbed a piece of peach with a fork. "Do you want some, jagi?"

Your eyes widened in fear as you suddenly remembered.

Kim Minjae is not your boyfriend. He was your dead twin sister's boyfriend, who moved his obsession over to you after she had passed away from a deadly car crash. He had drugged and carried you away to this small town after one month of her passing, unable to get over the love of his life and searched for her shadow in you instead.

You moved away from him, from the peach. Your twin loved peaches.

"Minjae-ssi, i'm not-""Answer my question, jagi. Do you want some peaches?"

Minjae's voice was dangerously low. You shivered, as he advanced on you more. "Jagi? Answer me."

"N-no." You stammered. Minjae sighed, ignoring your flinches as he reached over and stroked your hair. "Alright, jagi. You could have just said that." He swallowed the piece of peach, placing the fork back on the table next to the plate. "You're acting really weird."

You were visibly shaking. Minjae was in his own world, drowned in his delusions. He wrapped his arm around you tighter, as the news anchor continues to report your disappearance on the television. You froze, as he buries his face into the crook of your neck.

"I really love you, jagi. I love you so much."

He pressed a light kiss on your neck.

"I'll never let you go."
