Kibum gives Xuan a crown he made out of dandelions for him. He didn't have the heart to rip any of the flowers Xuan planted so dandelions were a safe yet cute option.

Xuan looks up at the dandelion crown, touching it with an amused smile on his lips. "Aren't you the cutest?~" He chuckles and pulls Kibum into his lap. The weather was nice, the warm spring sunrays brushing over their features as they rested in the grass. "I need to make you a crown too, so you can be my 'queen' and I your 'king'!~"

Ehm...yeah. Sorry for stopping by unannounced. It was foolish of me. I thinink I just wanted to surprise you.

"What? No, no, don't say that Bummie! You are always welcome to my office, come here." Xuan opened his arms wide for Kibum for him to come and give him a hug. "I am sorry I didn't recognize you faster. It just took me by surprise that you came disguised."

Kibum was aimlessly walking around Xuan's garden, reminiscing their time together and missing him more than anything. He sat down next to the white roses, indulging in their sweet perfume. "I wish you were home..." he sighed and whispered to himself grabbing his phone to text his lover.

Walking out of the grueling 3 long hours meeting he'd just finished a moment ago, Xuan felt his phone vibrating in the pocket of his pants. Figuring it must've been a text message, his mind flew straight to his beloved fiance, Kibum. Oh, if there was one thing the young man wished at this very moment, was to be back home, in his beloved's arms, instead of at his tiring office. But work had to be done and they were in peak season. With summer here, there was also wedding season right around the corner, and so their stores were swarmed by offers from families seeking to buy decorations for the traditional style wedding receptions. So yeah, Xuan had to attend meetings on all sorts of things: marketing, financial predictions for the season, partnerships and deals from other brands and branches and so on. It was packed!

[text - Bummie 💚]: I miss you too baby. I wish I could be back home with you right now!

[text - Bummie 💚]: How about we go out for dinner tonight? A cute lil date just for the two of us?

"I miss you too, baby! Lots actually. My heart is aching every passing moment that I am not there with you, by your side." Xuan sighs, clutching his phone. "I really wish I could be home right now, but the schedule is really tight and I really have to make it through with these auctions. They're really important, you know? But once I'm back home in the evening, I promise I won't be letting you get out of bed!"

He frowned upon Xuan's words, not having many dessert options. Back when he was in school he would have access to all sorts of delights but probably the school system these days was more strict and maybe more focused on the well being and health of the children. Yeah, that must be it for sure. "Well, at least you can have sweet treats whenever you go on trips with your school if you ask them nicely, right?" he scoffed at how well mannered the kid was in his gestures, yet his behavior was of a spoiled brat for sure.

His eyes widened at the sight of the device in the child's hands. Besides of being bullied by a 9 year old and wanting to get home as soon a possible to relax after such a weird day, the kid also had a phone that could have helped them immensely in findings friends? "Yah! You've had that on you the entire time and you didn't even care to mention about it?" he asked in shock. "Let's call your friends or teacher or someone to let them know you are here." he suggested, almost reaching for the phone but deciding against it in the hand. Snatching a phone out of a child's hands looked wrong on so many levels. "Can you call someone?"

Xuan shook his head once again. "Not really. We aren't technically allowed to stray away from the group to go into stores and what not, to buy stuff or to eat candy. Plus, we are given a strict allowance to use during those trips and it doesn't really leave much room to spend on things that are not necessarily vital." The young boy explains and he takes the final bite of his crepe, throwing the now empty wrapping into the nearest trash can, to then resume cleaning himself one last time. "Me being here, away from the group is actually something that I shouldn't have been really doing, but oh well, my bo... I mean, dad, asked me to get him something from Korea for him, and that's why I did this impromptu detour." Again, having to lie like that... Luckily, there was no one there to hear him, because otherwise, if Mr. Feng were to find out that Xuan dared call him 'dad', it would've gotten him into serious trouble, especially since he also failed his little evaluation mission due to Kibum's intervention.

"Should I have mentioned the phone?" Xuan looks at him with an unfazed expression, as if Kibum had asked him something alien. "We can't call them. Again, I was not supposed to be here, remember? If the teacher finds out I snuck out without permission, outside of the given area we are allowed to explore by ourselves, it'll get me into big big trouble. Plus, the lack of sms messages means that neither Cheng or Xia have their phones on." Xuan sighs and stuffs his phone back into his pocket. "We will have to rely on me recognizing the landmarks to help me retake the steps I took to get here in the first place. Are you familiar with this area? That could help a lot."

"Random midnight rambling, but I wanted to say how grateful I am for meeting you, for how much you have changed my life in the most wonderful direction, and how honoured I feel you be in love with you. I love you so incredibly much, and words are not enough, but I will continue to use these poor words in my attempt to always remind you of my undying love for you." - A cute little note for Xuan to find.

As always, Kibum's little cute notes brought a big smile to Xuan's face whenever he woke up in the morning to find them. Sure, he would have preferred to wake up to Bummie sleeping peacefully in his arms like the precious angel he is, but he could also understand why Kibum usually got out of bed earlier, not wanting to wake him up.

"Gosh, this boy, he really knows how to turn me into a flushed mess!"

He was excited to return to Xuan, knowing that there were loving gestures waiting for him, and the idea of it was giving him butterflies, hence why he finished watching his show much sooner. But on top of the loving gestures, he also received his very first love confession. He did love in the past, but it was never returned. So, hearing those three little words that weigh the world, Kibum felt like he was in a dream. All he could do was hug Xuan tight, so tight. "I love you...I love you so much..." he finally said it back after a while of hugging in complete silence. It felt so good, so right.

But it was no dream, it was realty... Their reality, proven by the warmth of Xuan's body pressed against his and the heartbeats beating loudly in the man's chest. Xuan hummed softly, enjoying the now very tight hug and Kibum's own declarations of love. "I like this... It feels so nice... So right! Makes me happy." He then starts rubbing Kibum's back in a relaxing and gentle manner, nothing lewd about it, just him wanting to show his love and affection for Bum through his actions too. "You are so precious, Bummie! Being loved by you... This feels like the greatest honor I could have hoped for."

He didn't even try to stop the smile that was forming on his lips when he felt Xuans loving arms wrap around him as well as hearing his sleepy voice. "I wanted to watch my show, and I didn't want to bother you, love..." he explained himself. "Of course I was going to sleep in here with you," he turned around so he could face him. "I'm sorry for waking you up," he whispered, trying to help him fall back asleep by playing with his hair.

"You could never bother me, baby. You know that..." Xuan murmured again and took a breath of Bummie's soft sweet scent in. It felt good having Kibum there with him, to feel his warmth and gentle touch. "I wouldn't have it any other way... I can't sleep well without you in my arms, baby." Pulling back just a little bit, Xuan then moved down to Kibum's neck to start kissing it softly and lazily. "I love you..."

Kibum walks into Xuans room with a blanket hanging off his shoulders. He climbs in bed with his boyfriend and the cats and snuggles against him, covering Xuan with his blanket as well. "Are you awake?" he whispered.

As if by a sixth sense, the young man can tell somehow that Kibum had entered the bedroom and so he makes room in the bed for him and once the younger climbs in, Xuan wraps his arms around him in a loving embrace. "What's wrong baby? Can't sleep? I told you you should have just stayed and shared the room with me." He sleepily nuzzles Kibum's hair and hisses the top of his head.
