REPOSTOBER - Day #16

today is artwork I made for Xuza/HowliteArt as part of a Digivolution Exchange Project, where entrants would submit a Rookie fanmon of theirs and then they'd be randomly shuffled off to another entrant for them to draw an evolution of!

I got their Lapimon which I was already a big fan of (I hate to be linking to Pinterest of all things, but in the wake of dA Eclipse & the AI kerfuffle they've scrubbed their old Digimon Viral project from the internet it seems), so I just drew my own take on her champion form Briarmon, rather than design a whole new thing!

#repostober #haulauart #sad to see that all of the links to everything are dead now... from the exchange journal to weekendviking's acct and all of xuza's old art #the internet has gradually become so unfriendly towards artists and archiving things like this... makes me sad #so much link rot even from things <10 years old #I hope WV is doing well wherever they are and whatever they're called now #their art style was awesome #also sad to see all of xuza's many many many older pieces of art gone from the internet too...#sad but necessary to avoid people constantly yoinking your fanmons and now AI taking it for its own means too #basically the same problems that all the old guard ''popular'' digimon artists face but multiplied... sucks for everyone involved
