decided to draw my oc Aiko with Goromi 💕

In the original Legend of Orochi, Yamata-no-Orochi was an eight-headed snake demon that would terrorise the land and eat young women as sacrifices, until it was eventually tricked and slain by a legendary swordsman named Susano-o.

In some instances of the story, like in popular hit RPG "Okami", Susano-o had to disguise as a woman in order to trick Orochi into accepting the sacrifice.

So hypothetically speaking, if there was an enemy leader from another clan that was perhaps nicknamed a "dragon" or a "beast" that the Ishin crew would have to trick to take down, then it wouldn't be completely historically inaccurate if we were to get an Ishin version of Goromi. :)
