That One Spot in Our Yard That Always Floods (And What I Learned About Fixing It)

The Problem Every heavy rain turns the corner near our shed into a mini wetland. My "solutions" so far:

Stacked bricks (failed)

A gravel trench (washed away)

Ignoring it (surprisingly ineffective)

The Discovery Ended up on Skyline Exteriors’ Services page (here) while researching French drains. Their breakdown of "grading vs. drainage systems" made me realize I’d been treating symptoms, not the cause.
