This is agoraphobia Anon from a decent chunk of time ago, idk if you remember. Life has its ups and downs but I think I’m doing a lot better! In celebration of the can I have some headcannons for Molly, Caleb, Yasha and Jester reacting to the reader taking them somewhere on a date that involves navigating crowds? Reader is still nervous obviously but makes it through without panicking.

Caleb

You told him you wanted to take him on a date and he agreed. He noticed you looked excited, yet nervous, but he didn't say anything as he trusted you and didn't want you to be more nervous.

When you began leading him into busier streets while holding his hand, he stayed silent. He wanted to speak up and make sure you're alright, but you looked determined. He didn't want you to lose your nerve when you're doing so well.

Caleb's face lit up when you took him to a bookstore that just opened. It wasn't the most crowded, but there were still a good bit of people wanting to see the newly-opened establishment. He noticed you seeming more nervous with all the people around and he gave your conjoined hands a light squeeze.

"Thank you for this," he'd say as he moves you to a section of the bookstore that is just the two of you. Despite the nerves, you manage a smile and he gave a bright one back. The idea that you did all of this for him. That you faced your fear for him. When you both are back in privacy, he'll happily tell you how much he loves you.

Jester

Jester had grabbed a newspaper for fun and to draw dicks and circle people's names that she thought are silly. She let out a pleased gasp as she read a part of it. "There's a new art museum opening today!"

She was definitely going to visit and promised she'd tell you all about it so you could experience it too in a different way. Instead you looked at her with a nervous smile stating, "Let's go."

Jester constantly peeked over at your expression as she swung your joined hands while you two walked to where the museum is. She filled the air with excited chattering in hopes the noise could help you focus on her and not the fact that you're outside and heading to a place that's likely to be really crowded.

"You know, we can just stay home and I can paint you some pretty pictures," she pipes up as she doesn't want you forcing yourself. But you just look at her without fear in your eyes. Nerves yes, but not an ounce of fear. "I want to do this with you." The brightest smile just grows on her lips as she goes to hug you.

Molly

He continues to stare at you as you hold his hand and walk with him somewhere. You wanted to take him out and didn't tell him where. Molly is definitely curious, but he also is staring to see how you're fairing considering your phobia.

"Nice day out," he'd say as if he actually cared about the weather. He doesn't, but it does cause your focus to shift slightly and he can see the nerves but you give a smile as you state that the weather is perfect for whatever you have planned.

Molly hears the excited chattering and all the different noises before he sees what your plans are. You bring him to a stop and give him a small, "Ta da." and he looks behind you with some surprise as it looks like a carnival came to town.

"Carnivals are kind of overrated," he jokes but it is his way of giving you an out if you need to walk away. This looks like a lot, but you just continue giving him a determined look. Nerves are still on your face, but it's evident you want to do this. He gives a lazy smile at that, "Lead the way, love."

Yasha

You're on a walk with her, taking her to some date you had prepared. She is happy that you're taking her out, but also sending glares to anyone that gets too close. Yasha sees you're having a good day and doesn't want some rando ruining that.

Yasha lets out a small gasp as you take her to a flower shop that has newly opened. There's so many different colors and plants and she immediately wants to take a piece of each for her book.

"There's going to be a lot of people," she states when she focuses back to you. You just give a nervous smile and shake your head. "I can't back out of a date." Yasha gives a smile as she moves to kiss your forehead.

"I love you," she tells you as she holds your hand and leads you inside the crowded flower shop. You can bet she's looking for a lovely bouquet to give you.

in my head the rexxentrum house that beau and yasha live in for a while post-campaign (and then whatever house they move into after that) is near a large swath of forest so yasha and her wolfdog (foxglove) regularly fuck around in the woods, especially in the rain. foxglove also usually sleeps outside and generally just kinda comes and goes as she pleases which yasha is very cool with because that's what yasha is like sometimes too ^_^ yasha (and sometimes beau) for the most part just feed foxglove or provide shelter if she wants it. because this is fantasy foxglove always comes back and very much enjoys being a part of the lionett-nydoorin pack

also yasha is stronger than foxglove so she can handle her roughhousing but beau constantly gets knocked on her ass by a 100 pound bundle of fur.

also in terms of coat patterns (since my drawing of foxglove wasnt the most accurate to irl wolfdogs) i think she be high content and look something like this. i am not a wolfdog identifier mind you lmao

The Xhorhaus: A quite comfortable mansion in the Sun-bereft city of Rosohna; this place was gifted to the Mighty Nein for their deeds performed for the Kryn Dynasty. You may even get to see some of them around here, though probably not to interact with…probably…

SENTIENT DATA IMPRINTS:

The Traveler/Artagan: The archfey who became Jester’s first friend and the deity who provides her with her powers. Not hostile, but very mischievous and kind of condescending.

Marion Lavorre: Jester’s mom! (has got it going on) A beautiful red tiefling with a beautiful voice and nurturing presence. Not hostile.

The Gentleman: Jester’s dad! A handsome perpetually moist water genasi who exudes a suave demeanor and works as a crime boss, though the composure can be swiftly dismantled by his daughter. Not initially hostile, but can be made to be.

Isharnai: An old, creepy hag(literally, not as an insult)who enjoys dealing in others’ misery. Was tricked by Jester, who stays in friendly contact with her, into undoing her friend’s curse and is very interested in meeting her again because of it. Potentially hostile.

Avantika: An elf pirate who Jester and her friends ran into on their adventures. Worships the leviathan Uk’otoa (Uk’otoa…) and is very disliked by Jester for her relationship with the tiefling’s friend/crush Fjord. Comes in living and undead flavors! Likely hostile.

The Mighty Nein: Jester’s friends!! The brave, morally-ambiguous adventuring party she traveled with, the people who she would die and kill for more quickly than almost anyone else in the world. Brief summations:

Caleb Widogast: Human wizard. Quiet, bookish, and usually kind of dirty(literally, not as in attitude), but very curious about the arcane. Has a cat familiar named Frumpkin. Nott the Brave: Goblin rogue. A kleptomaniac with a drinking problem, quick to shoot first and ask questions later, but deeply motivated to protect the family she has. Beauregard Lionett: Human monk. A brusque young woman, distrustful and kind of a showoff, but stubborn in the face of adversity and determined to root out corruption wherever she finds it. Fjord: Orc warlock. Handsome and charming, he’s quick to take the main speaking role for his party, though seems to have had some trouble adjusting to actual leadership. Yasha Nydoorin: Aasimar barbarian. Physically imposing in height and muscles, as well as her pale skin contrasting with her black-to-white hair and sunken eyes, but outside of combat is very soft-spoken, sweet, and kind of socially awkward. Mollymauk Tealeaf: Tiefling blood hunter. A charismatic, colorful character, he’s drawn to the weird and theatrical, and seeks to better the world around him even through deceptive means. Caduceus Clay: Firbolg cleric. An incredibly insightful, soothing presence, sure to offer you some tea if given the chance. Spaces out from time to time. Easily keeps the rest of the group grounded. Essek Thelyss: Drow wizard. A hardworking loner, not very good at interacting with people. Time with the Nein has helped him open up, though he’s still likely to be terse around strangers.

Not likely to show up all at once bc let’s not act like the person writing this is going to be RPing six to eight other characters at a time. Not hostile, though they can be a bit abrasive in their own ways.

Fjord

Fjord has spent so much time on ships that using the stars to navigate has pretty much become a new language to him.

So your interest in stars has him wanting to try to teach you.

Does his best with telling you the history of constellations or what stars to look for when navigating.

It might not be as interesting to you just looking at the constellations, but he thinks it’d be useful and it’s a way to connect.

Jester

She absolutely joins you in looking at the stars and points out a cluster then saying, “it’s shaped like a dick!” while being super excited and giggly about it.

Does think it’s super relaxing and fun to just lay on a blanket outside and stare at the night sky.

Probably has some sailor stories she’s heard about stars guiding people to their destinations after a really bad storm or something.

Usually with a happy ending, but occasionally the ending is very much up to interpretation.

Yasha

Enjoys the peace and quiet that night usually brings.

There’s some melancholy with it as she used to stare at the night sky with her wife and tribe. But she’s glad that she’s found someone else to look at the sky with.

Can’t help but be a bit hesitant with looking at the sky, just because she might get distracted from the stars and instead looking to the distance if there’s any signs of storms. Apologizes to you if she didn’t hear something you’ve said.

Doesn’t really know too much about constellations and stuff because it wasn’t her thing. Yasha is mostly quiet as you talk about the stars and any stories you know.
