it's occurring to me perhaps a bit late that the 'how many books a year do you read' and 'do you count fanfiction as reading books' polls may be related. in which case I'm going to prove myself a hypocrite and say no. I mean unless you hit an arbitrary word count that makes it something more than a short story, because as we've established, fanfic gets published too but it's usually typical book length

#I personally don't because it would be silly. most fics I read can be finished in 2 hrs or less #but imo it's a bit of a silly question anyway #if you care about numbers that's great but I don't count my reading experiences that way #tho if I did. tehanu. ttbc. tmbc. adwd #yeah not a lot. tyrant is proving particularly dense #I do not like this cancrioth plot. I think traitor was brilliant but I don't think the following books have lived up to it #but I'm less than 100 chapters in so that may change #cor.txt
