Chapter 1 (Contd)

Abigale stood there staring out at the sea that would forever hold a piece of her heart. Contemplating what this tragic day could possibly have in store for her. A cold breeze blew through Abi’s chestnut curls sending strands every which way. The young princess shivered. With a sigh, Abigale walked back into her room arms wrapped around herself trying to keep what little warmth her body still possessed. She sat on the edge of her bed her dream still plaguing her thoughts. She fell back letting her body gently hitting the mattress. Her mind a jumbled mess that she didn’t even feel herself beginning to drift back to a dreamless sleep.

“Mistress it is time for you to wake and begin to dress.” A soft voice said as it began to invade her subconscious. It took Abigale a few moments to realize that the voice wasn’t a dream but that someone was trying to wake her. Abi’s eyes opened slowly allowing them to adjust to the light that was now covering her chamber. She noticed her ladies busy getting her gown and dressing ready for her. “Thank you, Ana.” The princess said to the young blonde that was now standing by the bed with her robe.
