has anyone ever seen an otome game yandere characters who aren’t either 1) the weird quiet guy who makes it obvious somethings up or 2) the outgoing friendly childhood friend who you’d least expect. I’m partial to the latter because i love surprise (the first otome game i ever finished was the very infamous Amnesia: Memories) but im like curious about the possibilities. whats the flirty archetype look like with some yandere sprinkled upon it. what about the oresama. the sweet and quiet one could be good for a twist

#yknow once when i was younger i had the idea for an otome game who's working title was 'oops! all yanderes'#because i thought the idea of trying to make a horror otome where all the classic archetypes are there but they're all secretly gonna #lock u in a cage very funny hjkfdslakjsd #never did because im lazy but i still think its a little funny #otome games are a fascinating medium...............................#technically they can be like anything but because of the history of them and various influences there are certain tropes and archetypes #that stick around in a lot of games especially bigger budget ones
