“HERE’S THE PLAN,” he hollered, smacking the white board with such force it’s bang echoed throughout the halls. It was an unnecessary action, but masumi wanted to show he was serious.

“1. dude quite shouting and 2. why do you get the easiest job?” oirnzaka mumbles from his seat, not noticing the way masumi glares at him. “um if I may-” karou clears his throat. “sure y/n likes us all, but she’s closer with sir. it would be easier if he was the one to distract her.”

“ha more like annoy her, look I love y/n, but I'm busy and-” oiranzaka couldn’t finish his sentence, because masmui was now just a few inches from his face. “the fuck you mean ‘but I'm busy’? no, you’re not busy. there have been no missions lately, meaning nobody's getting hurt, also meaning you’re 100% free. you will help me if it’s the last thing you do, because I swear if you don't? I'll kill you before the momo does”. backing away slowly, he nods, not wanting to piss him off anymore. taking a final glance at the 3 men in the room, masumi grabs a clipboard, and calmly reaches for the door handle. before walking out, he turns around flashing his best grin “stop acting like it’s so hard, after all I’ll get the brats to help you,”. with that, he shut the door and made his way to your office. you’ve known masumi since your academy days and even now being adults, it leaves everyone astonished just how close you've become. despite such different personalities, under the surface laid an unbreakable bond, although to others it seemed as if he were a dog and you were his owner. following you everywhere constantly trying to push your buttons, wanting to see what reactions you’d give him each time. apart from karou, you were the only one who could handle his personality. you not challenging him, was like you were actually challenging him, making him test your patience just to see how much more you could take.

walking into your office, he’s grabbing a seat next to you, positioning the chair so he is facing your side and being so engrossed in whatever you are typing you didn’t realize he was next you. it wasn’t till he jabbed a finger into your side causing you to flinch; eyes wide and hands ready to attack whoever decided to ruin the peace, but upon noticing who it was you lower your fists though the frown and crease in your eyebrows don't leave just yet.

“fuck, I could’ve had a heart attack” you hiss, sending him a quick glare before you’re back to typing-more aggressively this time. he only lets out a low chuckle and scoots his chair closer, close enough that your knees are touching and can faintly smell his cologne. from the corner of your eyes you watch as he mindlessly scrolls through his phone, finally you think to yourself knowing you’ll have full attention to your work if he’s preoccupied-you were wrong.

“are you free tonight?” he asks, which comes out more like a whisper. without peeling away attention from what you’re doing, you answer “no, got plans”. masumi lets out a shocked ‘what?’ escape his lips by accident, because it comes off as mocking and you scoff giving him your full attention. “yes, I have plans”-placing your hands on your lap and sending him a sharp glare-”is that a problem?”

“yes, it is. after all, what are you doing? is there something important happening?”

that's right, today wasn’t really important. truth be told you had no plans, kinda funny how you had no plans on your birthday. even more hilarious for some reason you’re hurt he forgot, but then again this was masumi yodagawa and he’s forgotten a lot of things. yet part of you wished you weren’t one of those things. tilting his head, his eyes boring into your own, waiting for an answer, he’s met with a smile instead. although it doesn't reach your eyes and he can’t help but feel a pang in his chest and not the good kind, he knew what you were thinking ‘he forgot my birthday’ and you’d never know how bad he wants to shout ‘happy birthday y/n’ or preferably ‘i love you’. he doesn’t and he holds back, because he knows he’ll get his chance later that day and he won't let the opportunity pass by.

as the day passes, he’s doing routine check ups making sure everyone is doing okay with their tasks. he had nothing to worry about on his part, since he claimed there was “urgent” paperwork for you to fill out. which kept you in the office for the exact amount of time needed to set up, by the time you finished the sun was setting and you wanted to clock out. sending masmui a quick text letting him know you were done and heading home, but once you exit the building you find him waiting for you outside.

“hey y/n ready to go now?”

“huh? go where?”

“whattttt? you didn’t get my text?” and you look at your phone, raising it to his face. showing indication there was no text. he just shrugs, “hah, must've forgot to hit send”. not even giving you time to understand what he’s said, before he’s shoving you in his car and speeding away.

clutching onto the armrest for dear life, you groan, “are you kidnapping me? where are we going anyways?” “1. if anyone tried to kidnap you, they’d bring ya right back and 2. my apartment, there's something I want to show you”. he always did that, did things impulsively without telling you first, yet it was one of the things you liked about him best. sometimes you enjoyed the adventures it’d bring and other times you didn’t feel like being chased by police. “could’ve at least let me go home and change” you huff, crossing your arms in annoyance. you weren't expecting him to give you an answer but once the car is stopped at a red light, he does anyway, “no need, you look beautiful.” sparing you a quick glance before the light turns green and he’s speeding away again. “and no tricks, I mean it”. you turn away so he can’t see the smile forming on your face, you try to thank him but your breath is caught in your chest when he takes a sharp turn-drifting almost. “you should stop speeding, jeez you’ll get us killed” you half yelled, hoping he’d get the hint and slow down. “I hope not, I wanna spend the rest of my life with you” he shouts back, laughing and caught up in the thrill he doesn’t realize what he’s said and thankfully for him you didn’t hear.

after what felt like forever, masumi finally pulls into his apartment parking and gets to your side to open the door. as you step out he hands you a blindfold, giving him a questioning stare he only shrugs and mumbles, “for the surprise” and you think to yourself maybe he really is kidnapping me. once you’ve wrapped the blindfold on, he’s ushering you through the apartment building and his hands never leave yours, even when he’s struggling to open the door with one hand. “alright, you ready y/n?” he says aloud, which is actually a signal for everyone to get ready and when you let a, “yea, I'm ready”. he unties the blindfold, hitting on the light switch and at that moment your vision is clouded with tiny multicolored pieces of paper? you couldn’t tell or even concentrate with the loud resounding, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N!” being shouted out by multiple people and when you can see properly you notice all your favorite coworkers and all the students standing with party hats. karaou makes his way towards you with a 3 tier cake, yea he really went all out. he lowers the cake so you can see it in all its glory and he’s beaming at you, “make a wish” but before you do masumi is pulling you back towards him.

“ah ah, wait there's something I want to say first.” he grabs your hands into his and gets on one knee. “you’ve been one of my best friends for years and I'm a little embarrassed it’s taken me this long to tell you, but I love you. I realized I love you the day you chased me around your apartment with a sandal, because I scared you in a clown costume. it was that day I realized I wanted to be with you forever. you are the reason I train even harder, so I have something worth coming back to and I can't stop thinking about you. when I wake up, when I go to bed…when I'm beating up the momo. what I'm saying is, I want you to be happy and I’d love it if it was with me”. now everyone’s eyes are blown wide and jaws open, yours included. nobody expected him to do that, you certainly didn’t and standing like a statue with arms stilling by your sides you’re still trying to comprehend what he’s saying. on the other hand the silence is killing him, did you not like him back? was he too forward? should he have waited? his thoughts are cut short when karou speaks up, “maybe she’s hungry sir, after all how could she think straight with all the delicious food?” and shiki pumps his fist in agreement, “yea yea, you gotta let the lady eat first'' as he steals you from masumi’s hold and brings you towards the food table.

after the party’s over and everyone has left, masumi starts cleaning up, letting you rest on the couch knowing your social battery has been drained. picking up the last few pieces of confetti, he keeps sneaking glances at you. he’s wondering what you're thinking, what you’re going to say. will you reject him? will you accept? ha, he could only hope or maybe he was too upfront about it and you were feeling pressured? that's the last thing he wanted. you turn to look at him, you haven't spoken to him since everyone left his apartment and you weren't sure what to say, but it had to be something. you draw in a long breath and speak, “so what was all of that for?” and he pauses a moment before taking his place next to you on the couch. “a birthday party and a confession? a birthday confession” he says, rubbing his neck in embarrassment and before he you say anything he speaks again. “I meant everything I said, ya know. I’m hopelessly in love with you and that’ll never change” and when you don't answer for a second time he thinks it’s best to leave you alone, but when he gets up you grab onto sleeve halting him from any further movement and he finds your eyes searching for his own. “I didn’t know you were such a softie” you whisper, pulling him back down into the chair, so he’s eye level with you. “but I guess it’s okay, you know since I love you too” and he’s too stunned to speak. did he hear you right? you love him back? maybe you were messing with him this time, as payback-but all he can see is the fondness in your eyes and he can’t be happier. taking his unresponsive state as a sign maybe he still wasn’t convinced you huff out a “you can even hug me for 4-5 seconds” and with that he’s caged you in the tightest hug fearing if he loosens his grip even a little you’ll vanish.

“ughh masumi, i said 4-5 seconds let me go” you whine, trying to escape his hold. he can’t help but grin, you’re the cutest when you’re annoyed. “sorry what? I heard 45 seconds, but it’s too late now” and he’s laughing, a laugh that you hope you’ll hear forever and you couldn't remember the last time someone celebrated your birthday, nor the last time you indulged in celebrating it. you'd simply give thanks for another day and move on with your life. so, to think that there is a chance you could spend every birthday- no everyday like this, then maybe birthdays were something you'll now come to enjoy.

mudano, karou and masumi all had long hair when they were younger. They got mistaken for girls once and got them cut. They were traumatized💀

I highly believe that ouskue and masumi were well behaved kids, then when they got older they spun outta control. Then as for mudano, karou and tsukuyomi? They were menaces to society, then somehow turned out to be law abiding people

shiki and his dad used to arm wrestle for things. shiki wants to watch tv, but dad is watching sports? arm wrestling. dad want's pizza, but shiki wants burgers? arm wrestling. his dad wins every time

ousuke and tsukuyomi used to hate each other, why? well when they first met, ouske thought the whole "tarot card" thing was stupid. so he tried to flush them down the toilet and tsukuyomi was alrdy planning his death💀

mudano is really good at roller skating, hence why he wear's roller skates 24/7

yusurube doesn't actually need glasses, he wears them because he thinks it makes him look smart. part of the reason is he believes girls love smart guys

kunia knits when she’s angry, so whenever people see her knitting they stay 10ft away

mudano failed his drivers test once, the inspector didn’t pass the “vibe check” so he purposely crashed the car into a water fountain

alr so back when mudano had long hair, kyouya assumed he was a girl and tried to a ask him out, yea that didn’t end well. He ended up with a black eye :(

🖇a/n: yes yes, im 3 days late but who cares? ngl i was debating on posting it or not, but i didn't wanna scrap it either and i changed the layout again cuz i thought it looked nice XD anywho happy holidays my sexy penguins 🎄

Shiki → decorating/creating decorations; everyone knows not to bother him when it comes to decorating. he buys lights, projectors and all sorts of things before the holidays start and he also buys them on boxing day. that way they'll be cheap and still look good for next year. Makes everyone create their own ornament, then hangs them on the tree. yes, even jin creates one. he 101% invites mai over and pretends to be santa claus as he hides behind the inflatable

Jin → movie marathon; he wanted to do something simple and relaxing, he not a person of big things. so what better way to spend the holidays then watching christmas movies with you? most likely let you pick the movie, he’s just happy to spend time with you :)

Mudano → ice-skating; come on now, what did u expect? he uses roller skates instead of shoes :/ you were the one who suggested he teach you, he didn’t want to at first. but who was he to refuse his s/o? it was going well at first, you held onto his wrist as he glided you around the rink. seemed like fun right? wrong, he assumed you were getting the hang of it and let you go, then you fell-face first onto the ice. not even 5s have passed before mudano swiftly scooped you off the cold icy floor. he felt really bad, but felt even worse when he noticed your nose was bleeding. called it a day and took you home, where you guys cuddled the rest of the day. tell him that you forgive him 👹

Masumi → tracking santa; saw a flyer pass by him on the street, ran home immediately to tell you. “BABE LOOK, IF WE FIND SANTA WE GET A BOAT”, knowing damn well it was fake, but did he care? not really, it was the thrill and adventure he was looking for. even better if he can convince you to join him, which you do cuz who else will make sure he doesn’t do something stupid

Karou → building a gingerbread house; had everything set up the day before, didn’t even tell you what was going on-wanted it to be a surprise. he decided it to turn it into a competition on who could make the best gingerbread house, of course he one tho-it’s like he set you up :( but he makes up for it by letting you have the first bite of of it
