Yokib

Tepetlisaurus

PERSONALITY:

Yokib was a diligent and grounded Saurian, always ready to help out with renovations and caring for the younger Tepetlisaurs.

He isn't afraid to assert himself, and if he doesn't like a visitor he will make it known immediately by warning them that they should leave.

After the Night War across Natlan, Yokib is ill and easily agitated due to exposure to the Abyss. Considering his condition, we will no longer be allowing visitors to interact with him until he recovers.

FAVORITE FOODS:

Spinel Fruit is a favorite, though Yokib also eats Flamegranates as a treat.

Note that Tepetlisaurs do not eat Flamegranates in the wild, and Yokib needs them due to a lower level of natural Phlogiston. Otherwise, we strongly recommend against feeding Tepetlisaurs Flamegranates without asking a doctor like Ifa.

Setting off at an eager waddling pace, the young Tepetlisaur moves as fast as her little legs will allow towards the temporary location where several other Saurians are snacking on a variety of foods. In a corner, several staff tend to a Tepetlisaurus with purple-tinted skin and dark markings across his hide, while a pair of Koholasaur Whelps hurriedly scamper back and forth with food, water, medicine, and blankets for the weak Saurian...

" Wooo... "

Skidding to a halt, the first Tepetlisaur Whelp watches with a drooped tail and lowered ears. 5 Yumkasaurus Whelps stop eating to watch Mavuika with a chorus of chirps, before 3 return to their food with renewed vigor.

" Arrooo? "

A slightly bluer-than-normal Tepetlisaurus Whelp trots over to Mavuika from the temporary Saurian Care Center setup in the Stadium, looking up at the Archon curiously.

" Oroo? "

Mavuika’s eyes soften as the Tepetlisaurus Whelp trots up to her. She crouched down, her towering presence becoming more approachable as her gauntlet-clad hand gently brushed the top of its scaly head. The cool, faintly glowing blue of its skin reminded her of the lives lost in the recent battle, of the fragility hidden beneath such resilient creatures.

"Hey there, little one," she said in a low, soothing tone, her fingers trailing along its head, offering comfort in the simplest of ways. "You shouldn't be out here alone. The people back at the care center will be worried about you."

ANNOUNCEMENT 4!

The transport groups have arrived at the Stadium, but not without incident. Yokib suffered injuries and is now ill from Abyssal corruption. We would also like to honor our fallen Tepetlisaurus, Witz, who bravely gave his life to hold off the Abyss monsters while the rest of the group retreated to safety. After this invasion, we will add a memorial to our facility in his honor so his sacrifice will not be forgotten. As of now, all we can do is pray for victory in this war. May Natlan burn bright once again!

Witz was a work-oriented Saurian who was often borrowed by the Children of Echoes for mining operations. When in the gear for mining, he was extremely focused on his task and would ensure everyone's safety.

In the facility, when he didn't have a job to do, he enjoyed sunbathing and racing with Yokib, getting along well with his fellow Tepetlisaurs.

In the Abyss invasion, Witz proved his caring and brave spirit by fending off the Abyss monsters while the rest of the transport group ran to the Stadium. In the process, he gave his life for Natlan. His name will never be forgotten, his sacrifice an act of heroism we must honor fully.

FAVORITE FOODS:

The most preferred meal for Witz was a large portion with plenty of Grainfruit and various meats. Beyond that. Witz would eat any added vegetables and other foods.

We are in communication with the Flower-Feather Clan and Masters of the Night-Wind to discuss expanding our facility to accomodate Qucusaurs and Iktomisaurs, and the Collective of Plenty and Children of Echoes are already working on gathering the materials needed to repair and expand our facility. Hopefully Ifa can get here soon to help with Yokib, he isn't doing well and it's worrying the Tepetlisaur Whelps... At least he's alive, though. Witz's sacrifice for the transport group will not be forgotten. "
