I used to have feeling for him, to be completely honest. He was Royce's friend - is, I mean. I always thought he was cool a-a-and fun, funny, o-older. I was this loser next to him, shy and everything and shit. I'd like to think that we're-we're friends now though. I think we have or have had the same interests - like music. I'd like to hang out more but I'm-I'm always at home. Besides he was always Royce's friend more. But, uh, yeah.

god i cannot believe his man 3 has actually gone and done it and put 2 exes into the same house. god this is gonna get so messy. also idk how i feel about jaeseung yet like. he likes both hwi and seongmin and plots to put them together as roommates thinking that bc they're similar, to him, they won't like each other, only for them both to actually end up liking each other (cjdhfjsif LOL!!!) and then rings minseon bc he gets on with him. like. idk he's giving me seonwoo vibes from his man 2, tho its too early to say yet. but i LOVE seungjin and minseon and youngjoon the most so far for sure!!!! hanmin, one of the 2 new guys, seems adorable too ig. and idk i'm not vibing with myeongkyun, the 2nd of the 2 new guys and yongjoon's ex, at alllllllllll. like. at all. yet.

so thats that. the dates in the 2nd ep were cute tho! as is the addition of the love claw machine too!!!! seungjin fighting FOR HIS LIFE with them was so adorable!!!

That's... alright, okay, you have a point. [Amy laughs softly, not wanting to get into it too much] Ouff, I hear ya on that. It kinda sucks. Err, because I'm busy myself - it wouldn't be fair to the pet. I mean, I've thought of getting a dog or cat for the Inn...but what about people who are allergic? The door is always opening and closing, too. What if they get into the customer's way and they complain about it? [Shakes her head] Maybe one day.

So "nothing's official," but you've had a thing going since some time last year and you're getting all smiley talking about her? I'm no relationship expert, but I think you oughta pop the "G" word. That what happens when you have two jobs and very little free time. [sighs dramatically] Why not get a pet of your own?

Archer is still working at the county coroner’s office. He loves his job, but something still feels missing in his life. His dog, Stella, passed away unexpectedly from a rare form of cancer last spring, and he hasn’t adopted another animal since. He spent the entire summer in England with his family, subletting his apartment to a duo who did not want to leave once he returned. Archer was forced to break his lease and moved into an even smaller apartment in another part of town; his former landlord, from what he hears, is still in a legal battle with the squatters. He is still single, but he is on dating apps.

Marissa is in her fourth year at teaching at Barton High and is on a quest to become tenured. Last summer, she started taking part-time classes at Hurst University so she can obtain her master’s degree in education, knowing she wouldn’t become tenured without it. She’s found it difficult to maintain a proper work-life balance while working full time, going to school part time, and parenting, so some of her friendships have suffered because of it. She and her wife, Savannah Martinez, have discussed having more kids, and they agreed not to have any more for now, at least not until Marissa finishes her master’s program. She recently celebrated her 28th birthday and had the opportunity to visit her friends and family in North Carolina.

Yongjoon’s DJing career has taken off in a way he didn’t anticipate. He stopped working at the pet supply store earlier this year and has been able to make DJing his full time job. He still lives with Clementine Mercado and Mackenzie Connors and still enjoys their roommate arrangement. He still has his cat, Hank, and his dog, Sarge, but he is trying to get a second dog. He has released a few original songs on Soundcloud under the alias "Dragon Park," but none of them have gotten very many streams.

Morgan is still running the community theater, though her main source of income comes from the three rental properties she owns in California. The theater offers acting classes to children and teens, and they’ve increased the number of community productions to three per year. After being subjected to essentially an intervention by her grandparents and Arabella Kincaid, she agreed to start taking medication to manage her bipolar disorder. She has been engaging in weekly therapy sessions, and through that, she has finally come to terms with the fact that she is a lesbian. So far, she's only come out to her grandparents, Arabella, and Natalie Andrews. She purchased the house next door to her grandparents and is looking to rent out the upper half of the house.

Justin moved out of Savannah and Marissa’s house shortly after the twins were born, but he visits weekly and is a very involved guncle. He lives in a studio apartment in town, but is looking at alternatives, as his apartment is cramped and lonely. After Savannah stepped back to spend more time with the twins, Justin took on a managerial role at the Armoire Boutique. While he’s still not the most fashion-savvy person, he has become very good at the customer service part of the job. He was in a relationship with an older man named Wilson Holley for half a year, but that blew up in his face after he found out Wilson was still married to a woman. Justin has been down in the dumps and shut himself off from sex and romance, but he finally feels healed enough to put himself back out there.

Kaia is still doing what she does best, waiting tables and giving sass. The case that was pending in family court finally came to a head last fall; after a multi-day trial, the family court judge decided to keep Kaia as the legal guardian for her two youngest siblings, Elijah and Lia. Elijah is in his senior year of high school and is waiting to hear back from the colleges he applied to. Lia is in her sophomore year of high school and is involved in the school’s theater program and orchestra. Her other brother, Dallas, is in his sophomore year of college at Northeastern University and has decided to get his degree in marketing. During school breaks, he comes back to Barton Point and works part-time as a valet parking attendant. Despite her insecurities, things have been going well in her relationship with Amy Zimmerman. She has thought about asking Amy to move in with her, but isn’t sure how to broach the subject and worries she would say no due to Kaia being the primary caretaker of her siblings.

Jake still works at the florist and lives an overall underwhelming life, which is just how he likes it. After living in turmoil for most of his life, he enjoys the mundane and simple things in life. Last month, he celebrated his 30th birthday in New York with his sister, Diamond, who celebrated her 27th birthday the day after. He saw his mother for the first time in over a decade; while they are still not on speaking terms, he received an apology from his mother for abandoning him, which isn’t something he ever expected to receive. He has had multiple opportunities to meet his biological father, but he makes excuses every time because he’s afraid of his judgment. He’s currently living with Talya Pond in a two-bedroom apartment.

Theo has been trying to get his life back on track. After relapsing in June of 2023, he went on an 8-month long bender that ultimately lead to him going into a 90-day in-patient rehab in New York. His son, Jericho, moved in with Theo’s parents full-time in the fall of 2023 after being arrested for multiple counts of criminal mischief in relation to his graffiti art; he has been low-contact with Theo ever since. Theo was able to convince his bosses, Enrique Alfaro and Vincent Bauman, to represent Jericho pro bono. Jericho was able to avoid a criminal conviction by doing 250 hours of community service and paying restitution to several local businesses. Theo is trying to repair the bridges he burned during his relapse, but has been largely unsuccessful thus far.

Anna is no longer living in Barton Point. The US Marshals forced her to relocate in May 2024. Towards the end of her time in Barton Point, she started to become more active on social media, which raised concerns. She is now living in West Jefferson, Ohio. She left Barton Point without a trace, deleting all the social media profiles she made and changing her phone number. Royce Hanon was the only person she said goodbye to, but even that wasn’t a full, proper goodbye. A few months after leaving, she sent Royce a letter in the mail without a return address, apologizing for disappearing and thanking him for the companionship he provided.

Just a heads up. Being here is fun. Teaching Taekwondo is fun. But I’m tired. Too tired. I have a life, I have work and study. I have unresolved mental issues.

After this mini event I think I’m gonna take a break from this blog. I don’t know when or if I will come back. So, any of you can take over and be another cool Seong Taehoon. The important thing is to have fun. I no longer find the fun in it. Don’t let me take it from you. You don’t have to teach Taekwondo. I did it because it was fun, and now it’s not.

Yeah they are like mini horses. There’s one at the dog park I go to that scares the hell out of Simba, who is pretty big in his own right. I don’t know. they just aren’t my favorite. *She smiled* Owing a dog is fun you should join us.
